We've been friends since high school, but we don't talk that often. It was pretty fortunate that we happened to talk the other day & I found out she was in need of photoshop help. I bet she wasn't expecting all this.

In a normal size, you can't really tell they had been edited. I wanted a halter dress to not have to worry about tan lines, but I ended up really liking a vneck dress with a sheer back. I dont want to waste time in mexico avoiding the sun so i really hope I can prevent tan lines. I plan on buying some non halter suits & mixing up what I wear to avoid getting on big line. I might just ned up with a bunch of tan lines though! Atleast i know I can photoshop it now! I'm also making a surprise Lumapix photobook for this friend now that i have all her wedding pictures. She got ahold of me at the right time. My hobby has been photoshop & lumapix so she is going to be getting all sorts of photo projects from me. I'm also making a photo video once i know what her first dance song was.

I was worried if i edited too much it would look unnatural. I also didnt spend a really long time on each picture. I was doing about 20 for her. With enough dedication, I would think you could make a picture look near flawless. It's also a little tricky with someone who has freckles. You don't want to eliminate them all.

DISCLAIMER: I did all this when I was first playing around with photoshop. Most are over photoshopped, but it was too fun to stop. So try not to judge Here are some pictures I photoshopped for a friend. She got a splotchy sunburn before the wedding & didn’t like any of the pictures that showed it. Tip for removing tan lines Use cloning tool, but set opacity to something like 20%. This helps give more of a natural look. If you are really patient, set it to 10% & paint over several times. You have to unclick & paint many times. If you just hold down the button, it will not repaint an area. A description of how to do this is here http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...tml#post178696 These are before & after pictures. *there are many more pictures on page 2*

Kodak EasyShare Gallery is the top choice because of its good print quality. Snapfish is the second choice. Editors liked its "good prints and reasonable prices." Shutterfly has good prints but higher prices. Yahoo!'s printing is inconsistent but the service has numerous editing features. Wal-Mart Photo Center is the last choice due to its "dismal print quality." Here is the whole article. PC World - Online Photo Services Shootout Yahoo printing was terrible when I used it. They have shut down. I used snapfish the last 3 years & really like them. I have recently switched to shutterfly because they are always giving away free products (calendars, photobooks). Now that I'm using lumapix to make photobooks I need a website that will let me download guests pictures in high res. I was going to check out Picasa I know you can download picture sin high resolution. I just need to see how easy it is for making a group account & sharing.

I set up a website with shutterfly. It's the website I use to order prints & photo projects so it will work out nice if the guest upload their picture there. The only problem is I don't think I can download thier pictures in high resolution to do stuff with outside of shutterfly. So I might use a different website. You can get your own page like sueandbob.shutterfly.com It's free too.

I just marked on the barcode with a sharpie & it worked fine. But I'd like to write something with a fine tip sharpie & make sure it works. I feel like it should be more than a line to know it's not going to be hard to write on. I need to get a fine tip sharpie first. Then maybe I'll write something like "thank you for coming to our wedding." I'll get back to you.

I read on a website that you should be able to write on them with a fine tip sharpie. I need to test mind out.

My favorite pictures are of people laughing and both of their portfolios are full of them. I've been emailing Claudia & hope to have a photographer booked soon.

people aren't used to thinking about DW's so sometimes their initial reaction isn't how they continue to feel. My mom wasn't thrilled with an AI at first because she thought it would cost more. Once she looked into it, she will probably stay AI for her annual cozumel trips. So once your mom knows more about how it works she may realize an AI can be a great way to go.

I fly out of state for weddings pretty often. No one pays for my plane ticket, hotel room, meals that I have to eat out because I'm out of town, rental car, gas, etc. I don't expect them to. When someone invites you to their wedding, you have the option to say no. I have not gone to some weddings, because I had already flown to much that year & didn't want to spend extra money. Also, as a wedding guest I'm usually not wanting the bride & groom to spend a lot of money on me. I'd rather go & have a good time with them. i don't care how much they spent on me. I'd prefer to know they saved money to buy a home together, raise kids, or whatever. I'm not there to be showered with gifts or meals, etc. I don't think spending money on people is the only way to show you care. We all want to show our guests we appreciate them flying out, but there are many other ways to do that.

There are also a lot of artificial things in it that can be bad for you. And it stains your teeth. There are 2 ingredients in diet mountain dew that can react to create a really dangerous compound. Really any diet drink with vitamin C can be a problem. I stopped drinking coke all together until I started grad school. Then I found I had to have the caffein. I stick to 1 a day. Not great, but atleast I have a limit.

That's what I need- a workout partner. my workout partners started training for marathons & triathalons. So now I workout alone. I need to get more motivated. I'm in a slump. Seeing my halloween pic from 3 years ago motivated me. I used to show my stomach!
