  1. We have a paper cutter at my work I can use. I just need some practice. My ends are always curved.
  2. The 4x8 cards from vitaprint are actually 3.74" x 8.27". I have a sample that I've layed on top of a 4x8 christmas card. If I chopped 1/2 inch off the bottom, it would fit nicely on a piece of 4x8 cardstock. Do they sell 4x8 cardstock pieces or do you buy sheets & cut them? I'm going to order the 10 free 4x8 invites & see how they look. I'll be sure to take pictures. I'm getting the matte finish, because the 4x8 cards are not available in linen finish. I pulled out my sample notebook & I think the matte finish will look really nice.

  4. I've been avoiding the social events. Sometimes I get together with friends instead & workout. I've gone to a few of them, but I tried to stick with stuff I don't feel so bad about. At a party saturday I had chocolate covered bananas. I also eat somthing healthy before going so I don't pig out on all the bad food. The holidays are really tough.

I'm not good at cutting a pasting. I usually get glue where I don't want it & I never cut straight lines. Even with a paper cutter.

The STD can just have the date & website so it's not so redundant. If you don't want to send STDs it's deinfitly not madatory. You could even do a reverse thing. Send the invites now & then send a reminder-like thing later incase you are worried people misplaced everything. Maybe a newsletter.
  7. It's already on mine I bought a $4 container of cleaner at heltzberg diamond. I drop my ring in for a few minutes & then brush it clean. its crazy how much it sparkles after that.

Why do you not want to do a save the date? I didn't want to because I didn't want that extra expense. I found out I could make 100 postcards for $11. Postage was only 26 cents. So I went ahead & did it. I'm glad i did, because now I know I've done enough to inform everyone. I put the webaddress on the postcard. All the details anyone could need are on the website. The other reason I didn't want to send STDs is because I did't want to seem pushy. I ended up wording them so people know there is no pressure. I just didn't want to shock people with "save the date- mexico." I am surprised people haven't booked yet. Just my family is booked and that's because I did it for them. Everyone talks about it, but no one does it. I was worried, but then i realized i've done all I can. I update the website on a regular basis & I sent STDs in August. It's fine with us if only our family goes so we'll just wait & see for everyone else.

  10. I just remade it in lumapix & then exported it to a .jpg. It looks just the same. The text gets darker. I realized that your text got more messed up than mine. When you zoom in on it does it still look bad? Sometime text will look funny, but if you zoom all the way in it looks perfect.

What do y'all think of this.. any feedback appreciated. Also, I tried to figure out how to order these through mpix as a 4x8 card but it looks like it is making me select a template... any way I can just order this as a card instead of just a photo. And, when I saved it as a jpeg it seemed to diminish the quality of the picture and the fonts. What should I save it as to submit to mpix for the best quality?? Thanks soo much for your help. Looks great. I also noticed changing it to a .jpg didn't look as good. I was going to recreate it in lumapix or photoshop and see if it looked fine. It might just be saving a picture in powerpoint. I havent been able to figure out how to order a 4x8 picture with Mpix.
  12. many hotel renewal of vows packages are really inexpensive. The package usually includes all you would need. It shouldn't cost a lot if it's jus the two of you.

  14. Thanks everyone! I just sent a round a drinks to everyone who helped me make my invites. A couple wouldn't send.
  15. Yay! We have a winner! Thanks again everyone. I will print a few testers soon, but it will be a while until I print them all.
  16. On last contender-skinnier picture on left, thicker picture on right. Thanks everyone! I really do love them.

  18. Does the text finally work? I think I'm textually challenged. I like the color too. The picture will look more like a painting. It's hard to see because it's so small.
