How much were they a piece? I already bought my cups, but I think other people would be really interested in a DIY mug. And you can use all the colors you want! -
Use the search tool (use advanced search for now because regular search isn't working). There is some info about him on the forum. I believe that is who DreaW used & she has posted many of her pictures.

I want to nominate Tami (foxytv). She has great ideas & is always very helpful with questions. I have borrowed many of her ideas.

Very cute. The only problem you might run into is that often for printing on a cup you pay by the color. I designed a 1 color logo to use on cups. -

THe boys still need to buy their suits and I have one MOH who still needs to order her dress. I'm working on finalizing the on-site private reception this week. Next week's big focus will be the AHR. Yay! Another date twin. So far, I know of 4 of us on the forum getting married 6.21.08. -
If you can get some good reviews of that website, they seem great to use. Here are some comments I found: Has anyone heard anything about www.weddingo.net? - Yahoo! Answers Here are people trying to figure out if the site is legit. They don't really figure it out though Kvetch: Wedding Dress Alternatives => wedding dress from http://www.weddingo.net

Today my ticker says 5 months left! I really can't wait!!! Who else is 5 months (give or take some) away? What have you finished & what do you have left? I like to get stuff done early so I have finished most of my big projects. Things have been moving along pretty smoothly with much thanks to all the great people on this forum. But, I still feel like I have a lot left to do. Making lists always makes me feel like I have a better grasp on what I need to do. So here is my list. Finished: picked place found TA booked our travel collected addresses sent out save the dates engagement pictures got dress, shoes, most jewelry, veil made website made logo designed invitations- still need to glue backing on 60 of them & address envelopes planned ceremony music- waiting for a friend to record it on piano booked photographer started on making cups for OOT bags made postcards for OOT bags thank you cards made photo guestbook registered for stuff To do: his wedding band his outfit for wedding write vows decorations for a simple AHR make CDs for dance after wedding (collect everyone’s first dance songs) make fan programs finish painting cups for OOT bags Make a “meet the guests” page Welcome letter Bags for OOT gifts (looking for cheap Mexican market bags) Get everyone to book their trip Plan what adventures we will go on & organize group trips Book charter fishing Get dress hemmed Get my grandma’s passport problems taken care of Finish making bridesmaid gifts (even though I’m not having bridesmaids) Stuff I’m not doing: Wedding party Decorations

Anyone know the best way to get your guests to the tulum ruins? I know there are vans that are like taxis that we could all ride in. I've heard they are $2 per person. Are they typically nice enough for an 30-60 minute ride? Air conditioning? Are there other options? Chartering a van? I'd prefer to not rent a car. I don't like the idea of dealing with the risk of a collision in another country. We rented a car in paris do drive out of the city & it was so scary to imagine what we'd have to deal with if we damaged the car. How much does it cost to get into Tulum? Also, would it be too hard for an 80 year old grandma to explore the ruins? How much walking is it? Last question- are there public restrooms at the ruins?

Tami mentioned doing this before. I am planning to do it too. I haven't been keeping it a secret though. I have been asking everyone. A friend actually teared up a little. You can always just say you are trying to figure out what to use for a first dance song so you are wondering what they used to get some ideas.

I looked through my photographers portfolio & it's clear that he will capture everything that needs to be captured. I also want a kissing under the veil shot.

These are not on my list but other shots are Toasting bouquet toss cake cutting garder toss first dance I also do not plan on giving my photographer a list. But, if there are certain ones we want to stage, I'll tell him. I'd like to take one of a big thank you written in the sand. I was going ot use it to make thank you cards, but someone gave me their leftovers. So I'll use it to email out a thank you as soon as we return from mexico.

The last wedding I was in was Maid of honor, matron of honor, then her other friend that was in the wedding. The next three were his family starting sister, sister in law, cousin. The grooms men were in height order. I thought it was done well because the friends were together & the family were together. It also wasn't this obvious ranking of importance. I was in one wedding where we were ranked in order of how much she liked us. I didn't like that at all. Another wedding was in height order for the girls & guys.

Love my MOH! (Dress shopping story)

You can also not have a bride & grooms side. I think I'll have more from my side, so people can just sit wherever. it also gets tricky with friends who are on either side.

I have heard that capital one is the best for paying things internationally. The only problem with capital one is they don't report your available credit, so it can hurt your credit score. Not a huge deal, just something to be aware of. As long as you don't have only capital one cards it shouldn't hurt.

Isn't it usually 50 lbs per bag? I think what makes this so hard is that it is 44lbs combined weight. Some of our guests flying Ryan Air will run into this problem. Well for them it should be fine because they only have to worry about getting their own stuff down there. For a bride it is much more difficult. Will your aunt be able to take everything she needs in her carry on? If she is just going for a quick trip it might be fine. Swimsuits & flip flops don't take a lot of room. Can you pass out the mugs ahead of time?

Maybe we won't have as many problems with your grandma's. If so, you should try the letter to your congressman statement...can't hurt! My TA suggested talking to a state representative. I wonder how long I should wait before doing that. As far as I can tell right now everything is going along fine. I'm calling the state office for birth certificates tuesday just to make sure there isn't a problem yet.
