  1. A lot of us had a pretty clear image of what we liked until we tried it on & saw it wasn't right for us. So don;t take what your FI thinks would look good too seriously. I would think if a guy was looking through a bridal magazine he'd pick the dresses he likes based on how they look on the girl, not the actual dress. I think guys have trouble judging just the clothes.
  2. Wow! That is rough! I can't believe he didn't warn you. But, maybe things will be better once you talk all this out with your FMIL. Good luck!!
  3. This was just in my inbox In with the new! Shoes.com has thousands of new styles, and today's a great time to shop. Now through Feb. 29, 2008, take 15% off your order.* Enter the code SHOES201 at checkout to receive your discount. * Bags and some brands excluded. See site for details. Here is a 50% off sale at endless.com, but it's only on certain shoes. Endless.com: Sale Shoes and Handbags also, make sure you get the negative $5 shipping deal. I think they always offer it.

Only problem is, I might be taller then Matt in them... Sorry for tempting you with all these great shoe websites! Wait & use the two weeks to shop around & find them at a better price. Or wait for a sale. Endless has them every so often. I'll see if I can find any.

Basically the 10% price match doesn't add up to a lot. But, just having a price match is great. There is also shoebuy.com, but their returns are not as easy. They are still good, just not as fast & simple as the others. Then amazon has a new shoe thing called endless.com. I haven't bought anything, but the website features are cool.

  9. www.vistaprint.com/minicatalog use a link like this to get your postcards for free. I also have a thread on here somewhere about how to make a vista print postcard. Search isn't working, but advanced search is. There is tons of info about vista print on this forum, because many of us love it & use it often.
  10. Have you tried finding your dress online? I used gownfind.com the other day & found a BM dress for $100 less.

  14. I was considering a margarita machine, but my mom gave me the idea to get a big drink despenser & make margaritas on the rocks. it would be a lot cheaper. You can also get a margarita machine at sam's for $180.

LOADS of fun! here is the info on the van tour: Transportation: Sinal Tours, an outstanding service and really the best prices around, the contact person is Jorge and this is his email: [email protected] The whole day, 8am-6pm, 11 people in the van, Coba ruins, cenote, tulum beach tour! $160 + tip cheers, mateo Thanks so much for the information, Matt. A bicycle tour sounds great for grandma!!! I can't wait to tell her tonight. I'll have to check out coba. Did your grandma go on the trip? Was she able to go to a cenote? I'd love to go to a cenote as a group & possibly ride a zipline through the jungle. But, everything we plan has to be grandma friendly. She is 80 and uses a walker or cane. Hopefully she is stronger by June (the trip has inspired her to work on her physical therapy) but we can't count on that. I can't wait to be in Mexico with my family!!!!
  16. Gallery Project Details Here is a cool one from a NYC trip. They must have used some other software to design it. I thought these would be limited to shutterfly designed only. I guess not.
  17. So it's not as great as I hoped. The wedding books are made with shutterfly templates, so there isn't a lot of variety. I have enjoyed the digital scrapbooking section. This book is awesome http://community.shutterfly.com/gall...0f4561e3b57419 It's a persons trip to croatia. I like how they combined pictures & text to tell the story of their trip.
  18. http://community.shutterfly.com/gall...9e646590954e3f This is a new thing on shutterfly. It is a gallery of people's photobooks. I plan on browsing the wedding books today for ideas. I'll be making a friend's wedding photobook once her digital negatives come in.

But, for some reason my handwritting improves if I'm doing swirly letters or bubble letters. I think it's because in junior high instead of practicing my cursive, I was working on my bubble letters.
  21. Great ideas! I love the scene setters from oriental trading for making the background. We had a prom party last year & made a cheesy backdrop for people to take pictures in front of. It was a blast. I was planning to go to party stores after cinco de mayo & get some dicounted decorations. Thanks everyone for the great ideas! I'm excited to start planning the party now.
  22. My veil is very simple & it will be under the hair hanging straight down. So their is room for an updo, flower & veil.

I should stop talking to you about hair flowers, because I think I'm just making it harder for you.
