  1. The other cool thing with snapfish is that people can mail in a roll of film & they will put the pictures online and then mail them prints. It's about $5.
  2. You can do this directly though snapfish & not have to use walmart at all. I also avoid walmart if I can. Shutterfly, kodak, and more have similar deals. The shutterfly group website looks better, but I like that with snapfish you can buy high res files for 5 cents. Some pictures I'll want to own the file of.

It would also take less planning time & allow you to focus more on your son's career.
  4. so would you be happy eloping? if so, that's the easiest option. But, only if you know you'd be happy with that. If it's what he really wants you might want to consider it. I thought eloping would be fun because then we could go wherever we want. We chose mexico because it's affordable for guests. if we eloped we would have gone somewhere we've never been before and we would have traveled around more.
  5. Love it! I'll have to check my local wedding planning store too.
  6. They look great. Some are a little hard to read. maybe a different color font or lighten the picture. You can do it by right clicking--> format picture--> increase brightness I am doing the same thing. I planned on ordering 100 postcards for free from vista print.
  7. Looks like an easy choice! Number two is so pretty. I want #2! If I didn't already have my dress, I'd definitly try it on.
  8. There is a search tool on the upper right side. There is tons of info about OOT bags on the forum. You should find everything you need.

I doubt we'll be able to go charter anyway as our guests are all over this state and a couple of others. No one is leaving out of the same airport. I imagine it will only be us, my mom and step dad and my sisters leaving out of the same airport. my guests are coming from all over & some are booking charter. If charter is available in their city, they book it. If not, they take commercial.

We found out that this was because the Dr. that delivered him was notorious for getting back logged and submitting birth certs more than a year after the births. They are supposed to be submitted within 7 days. So we got a letter saying that we had to submit an affidavit signed by his mom in addition to school records and a hospital certificate (the ones you get from the hospital that basically says Congrats) or we could get a census report. The census reports are crap because you have to pay $65 to have one search done from one year that the census was taken and if you can't remember the exact address your screwed or if the person taking the info took down any info wrong even misspellings it won't come back with anything. We just got the affidavit and sent it to FMIL so hopefully everything will get resolved. The funny thing is that he served in the military for 7 year and received high honors and fought in Iraq, but can't get a passport. Even funnier thing is that he had a passport, which was issued after 9/11, when he was in the military but it expired and he has no idea where it is at any more. What crap. I know what you are going through...even more stress to add to the other worries. Everyone who is going to our wedding has received their passports except the groom. Please keep us updated on how things are going. Did you have to submit that to get his birth certificate or his passport? We only have the school record. There are no relatives older than my grandma alive to sign the forum. We also don't have a hospital record like that because she was born at home. I hope that a birth certificate & school record is enough, but I'm not sure.
  11. The website said 11-13 weeks. Oh, another great thing is they take paypal.
  12. OK, I know the name on your airline ticket has to match your passport. Does anything else have to match? My friend's drivers license does not match her passport.

I was in a bridal salon yesterday to figure out what size BM dress I needed for my brother's wedding. They were so rude to me! I couldn't figure out why. No one would help me. I think I finally realized what it was. They only wanted to help people buying wedding gowns because that's where the commision is. I asked to be measured & the lady said "is the bride with you?" I'm happy I'm not ordering my dress from them. I got it online for much less. Maura, your dress looks wonderful. I think your picture of the actual dress looks even better than the one that was online. What a great deal too!
  14. Her birth certificate came in! She is applying for a passport wednesday!
  15. The dress was $130 from gownfind.com. But, I think I'd rather pay $137 & order through TJ formal, because I know they did a good job with your dresses. I'm a little nevous to order from a company that no one I know used. I tried on dresses like it (they didn't have this style). They looked great, so I'm excited to get this on in the mail! Thanks Tami!

I guess what I don't understand is why you have to have a charter flight? Can you not reach your location by regular flights? Are charter flights cheaper? My TA told us she can pass on the price drops if its a charter flight. Some cities don't have a charter option though, so people flying from there are booking commercial.

The seat cushion was less than $10. Once you really get into it, you might want to get the clip in shoes. They make it easier to control the bike. You also get to pull, not just push. My gym closed so I haven't been to spinning in a while. I do miss it. I wonder if I have to recondition my thighs to handle the pain?
  18. I bought a seat cushion. You can get them at sporting goods stores. Other people wear padded shorts. I didn't like the way those felt. But, you definitly need some tight shorts or pants. The classes are intense. I was doing aerobics often, but I felt wiped out when I starte spinning. Usually they have heart rate monitors. Know the zone you want your rate to be in before you go. For me, if I got above 180, I new to really slow it down. After a while the classes got much easier. Definitly give it a shot. It's a great workout. Oh, another thing. If you want to take it easy at first, don't add much resistance to the bike. That's a great way to still do it all, but not overdo it.

  20. I think Tulum & Coba have to be paid for in pesos. Just might want to include that. Looks great. I'm sure your guests will really appreciate having all that info.
  21. Great job! I'm glad I can be an inspiration Glad you got it for free too! I don't think I've ever paid full price for a photobook. All 1000 of them.
  22. Thanks! i love the fonts. They are not in my font arsenal. I agree that even if it's a little hard to read a few lines, everyone knows what they say.
  23. There is a photoshop for dummies. I've never read a dummies book I didn't like. You can also get something from a library to make sure it's good first.
