One time he said he thought it would be fun to hang out with Brodie. haha oh ya, he's definitely in denial about the show. I think it's a different song. She is on the beach in a bikini. It's so unbelievably cheesy. I love best week ever on vh1. it was so funny to see them make fun of it. I didn't know spencer was responsible for that junk. Makes sense.

If you don't like his work, there are many other talented photographers in Cabo. We flew in a photographer. I never heard of immigration/customs coming to someone's wedding.. why would they? They can tell someone is a photographer at the airport by seeing their equipment. Has anyone on the forum have this happen?

How I wore Red Lipstick on my wedding day...
rodent replied to Jenn's topic in Beauty, Exercise, Diet
I will probably be getting some too. Did it make your lips feel dry? I am a chapstick addict & I need that glossy feeling. I'm also a mouth breather (I know I'm so ashamed) and my lips get yucky so I take off my lipstick every hour or two & reapply. Did it ever get yucky? -

I'll play with some color just for my own entertainment. I am in search of funny backgrounds for parties now. I got a cheap green screen. This weekend we are having a "finer things" party. I will photoshop people onto a lavish background in versailles. I am still looking for other finer things backgrounds. People will wear stuff like top hats, monocles, long gloves, boas, big hats, etc. The music will be a mix of classical & silly booty shaking music.

How to choose a TA?

We have a large group going to Cancun next year and I definately did not want to be responsible for making all their travel arrangements. I have heard lots of good things about Tammy, the host of this forum. I have contacted her to see if she can help me make my travel arrangements and help me get through the wedding coordinator at Dreams Cancun. She is a dreams expert & exactly who you need to plan a wedding at Dreams. -

I've been spending more money lately than I ever do because of all the wedding stuff. I'm stimulating more than my usual share

I only want to spend like, a dollar on them...but I don't want teeny tiny ones either. I haven't found any yet. I'm waiting until the spring when there is more likely to be cute, cheap totes in stores. I only want to spend a dollar, too. -

Here is what I have so far. The locks haven't come in. I also haven't bought the actual bags. I wanted to keep the contents small so it was easy to pack. I also have the welcome letter & more paper stuff to print. I will probably throw in post its & a pen. -
How to choose a TA?

Once on a group trip, a TA (relative of one of my friends) booked us a room to save us money, but it ended up being the same price that we had been quoted by the hotel. Can anyone explain the perks to hiring a TA and how it all works, or just direct me to the appropriate post? (Sorry, not trying to take over this thread, but I thought it was a good place to ask.) THANKS! This is just my experience. Other TAs often do things the same way, but some might opporate differently. I might be wrong about this, but this is what it seems like to me. I think they get paid through the hotel, airline, etc. My TA is booking through funjet. If I went to funjet.com & booked $50 of that is a booking fee that fun jet gets (I made up that dollar amount, I have no idea how much is). If my TA books it for me through funjet, she gets that $50. So I paid the same amount, but my TA made $50 instead of funjet getting that extra. The $50 is just the max she can take. She could take $30 instead & save me $20. She can also pass on price drops, which you can't do if you book through expedia or funjet on your own. Our hotel price went down $10 & everyone owes $10 less now. TAs also know ways to search for better deals & keep up with promos. Guests only have to pay a deposit to secure there trip. Another great perk. I really don't know any reasons not to use a TA. As long as they are a good one. I'm sure there are some out there that would overcharge. It also saves you tons of hassles. Before this wedding I had never used a TA. I'm now spreading the word to all my friends that TAs are great! -

I'll throw them in the bags. They will be a month or two old, but I think guests will still enjoy them. I'm a little embarassed I get OK, but it was only $2 for a year. I can't find that deal anymore, but I got my gma a 2yr for $7.50 on ebay yesterday. She was thrilled.

Need Small Organza Favor Bags?

They came in fast. They look perfect. I'd take a picture, but really don't all organza bags look the same? -

Mike thought it was gross. There will be one kid with us. I'm going to write "not candy-medicine" on the back of his mom's envelope. Wouldn't want him to think it's candy.
