So no date for me...short story long... Very cute. I just checked them out on the front page. Totally makes sense not to have a date. I was thinking of it as a baby announcement that would have the date, weight & length. My friend had a baby Monday & named her Ainsley Elizabeth. I hadn't heard that name until this week. Very pretty. I do like it with as leigh. My middle name is leigh so I'm partial to that spelling. This is the friend who's sunburn I photoshopped out of her wedding picture. Don't know why I'm telling you that, but I figured since I posted so many of her pictures on the forum people "know" her.

You can modify it to suite you. I should have explained this better. Don't do the program the way it is designed if you don't lift already. But, you can do a dvd a few times a week with lighter weights even if you are a not a lifter. I just wouldn't do it 6 days a week at first like the plan has you doing. I only work out 3-4 times a week most weeks. I really don't care to do more. So you can modify this to be easier. Also the really killer part is all the pushups. I don't do that dvd. thats the one that hurt my friends' backs. It's not a bad dvd. I just hate pushups. -

You will not be dissapointed. She is great. I booked her husband Erick. I did 2 1/2 hours because my FI hates having his picture taken, I don't have a bridal party, I don't like getting ready pics (I've been a BM enough to know this about myself), we are not having a reception & my budget is tight. Hopefully it's enough time. I know 2 1/2 hours isn't enough for everyone so i put all my reasons. -

I'm not sure what type of yoga it is Kash. This was my first attempt at doing yoga. I was not successful. Apparently I'm not that flexible because it hurt too bad and several moves I couldn't even get myself to bend into. I prefer taebo. There is too much time spent blocking in kempo for me. I prefer to kick. I have so many taebo dvds that I don't do kempo. Mike does it though. I just tried "billy's favorite moves" the other night (taebo). It's so funny. I was doing it with a friend & mike. Mike quickly left the room. He felt too silly with these moves. My friend & i couldn't stop laughing. We really had fun with it, but it is pretty silly. -

Plyometrics is the best butt kicker- along with ab ripper x. I'm so happy I have someone to talk to about it besides FI. He loves it and I cry about being sore all the time. I love being sore. It makes me feel good all day knowing I had a great workout. I haven't done the entire yoga one, but I like the yoga in cardio-X. Quote: Originally Posted by cheese_diva Awesome post. A friend comes over a few nights to do the videos too. it's great because we can catch up & workout at the same time. Plus we can talk about anything because we aren't in the gym. -

I just found I really like getting artistic every now & then.

I have been meaning to post this for months & I keep forgetting. I finally remembered after seeing QuelMoffet post that she just bought them. The are called P90X by beachbody. They are the best workout dvds I've ever done (& I've done a bunch of workout dvds.) I've been lifting weights for 12 years. I never could have imagined there would be a dvd that can give me as good of a leg workout at home as I was getting at the gym with machines. It's actually better than what I was doing at the gym. I noticed more definition after I switched to the dvds. My gym closed down sept 2006. Shortly after a friend told us about these DVDs. I've been doing them since then. Its so great to be able to work out at home. I put the dvds on my portable dvd player so I can watch tv while I workout. There is a countdown clock so you know how much is left. There is a great 15minute ab workout too. We don't have a pull up bar, so we skip that part. But, with just some dumb bells, a dvd player & a chair, you can get an awesome workout. I didn't follow the eating plan, I just do the dvds. Also, the workout plan is really intense. I just do a dvd a few times a week. Our friends strained their back from over doing it (both husband & wife) so if you feel like it's too much, cut back. I like to mix it up with some of my other dvds like taebo & pilates. P90X is not for beginners. There are other programs from the same people that are not as intense. One is called Power 90. I also tried Debbie Siebers Slim in 6 but I didn't like it. The entire plan is 10-15 DVDs of different weight lifint routines, cardio, and yoga. it's a great way to get guys to do yoga because it's like manly yoga. There is also a book that takes you through a diet plan. It's a good diet. I'm totally against fad diets. This isn't like that. I didn't have the book to follow the diet because I bought used DVDs on ebay. P90X® - Fitness, Nutrition, Diet, Weight Loss Official Website UPDATE You can modify it to suite you if you are a beginner. I should have explained this better. But, I still get a lot of use out of these DVDs. UPDATE I just got Turbo Jam from beachbody. its awesome! It's like funky taebo. It's so much fun you don't feel like you are working out. Its a great ab workout too. The music is fun too.

Wow that's a bad review. usually I don't take reviews to seriously because people tend to complain more than necessary when they get upset, but this person had some very specific examples. 2 guests getting turned away! Thats terrible! Any an assistant should not be on the phone. wow! Hopefully this was one particularly overbooked day. Sounds like plenty of people have had great ROR weddings too.

So if you hire someone else, he gets $150 for lost revenue. Keep fighting this & maybe hotels with change how they do things. Anyone have links to his website? I've like to see his work.

Those would be great for taking down to the pool. I'm still waiting for beach bags to be in stores before I buy anything. I'm hoping to find something good at the dollar store before summer. -

I always see that in etiquette for weddings (not just DW). In all 8 weddings I've been in, i've always paid for my own clothes, hotel, flight, transportation, etc. So even though it's in the books, I don't think people follow that. I don't expect to be paid for when I'm in a wedding. But I do really appreciate the bride making an effort to keep costs down with affordable dresses. And no matching shoes, hair, makeup, nails, etc. All that really adds up. Especially for a professional bridesmaid like myself.

I went to school with this girl. Hopefully she doesn't see these pictures. I think she was just being silly to take them, but they are pretty funny.
