Totally agree. I thought the tone was pretty harsh in the first post. i don't think we attacked her. But, I totally understand how we shouldn't all jump on a newbie just because they don't know everything about the forum. I think for the most part we are pretty good about that.

I think digital cameras killed the polaroids.

You can turn the signatures off if you wish but I personally enjoy seeing the lives of the woman I have grown to know and become friends with. Well said! And from the lady with possibly the craziest siggy pic of them all.

It's really not that nice to be a member of a site for 2 months & then say the way we do stuff annoys you. It was a little harsh. Obviously we love our siggys. We wouldn't make a new one each month if we didn't. I like being able to put a face to the username. The ones that stretch out the screen are annoying, but usually when someone does that we suggest the make it smaller. I am super excited to get started on my March siggy. The ticker is about the only way i realize who close my wedding is getting. Sounds dumb, but I worry without it I'll lose track of time & it will sneak up on me. Long live the siggy!

http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t9798 You can read through here. The decision was that most of us prefer the siggy pics. if you don't like them, it's easy to turn them off. Also, Tammy who owns & runs this forum must like siggy pics because she always has one. I agree that they should be kept to a resonable size. Most of us try to do that.

You can turn it off. These has been talked about before. I'll go find the post.

wedding band help...

Time to learn how to post photos.... check out the navigating the forum section & you can learn all you want about points. they are a little confusing at first, but really make a lot of sense to keep the forum running. They are also fun once you have a bunch. You can buy gifts, etc. Use photobucket.com for posting pictures. Insert the code. All the details of how to do this are also on the forum.

Logo and all!! What programs do you have? photoshop or publisher would be better. You'd just want photoshop elements to get started. Photoshop really isn't for graphic design. I just use it because I'm so familiar with it. I give presentations a lot. But if you are starting off new to a program, might as well start with the right one. There is also Lumapix photofusion. The basic version is $40. It's perfect for designing invites, photobooks, logos, etc. You can download a free trial on their website.
