I posted a deal for that citi bank card on the thread about american airline miles. If you go through that link there is no fee the first year. After teh first year just downgrade to brinze & never pay a fee. You will get 25,000 after spending $750 in 3 months. That's enough for a flight. I like my citi diamond card. There are probably deals right now to get $100 for signing up for one. No fees & I earn points that are equivalent to 5% on gas/groceries and 1% on all else. You can use the points to book trips through expedia so you aren't stuck with one airline. If I wanted to book a flight home it would take about 23,000 points. 23,000 could also get $230 in giftcards & the flight would cost me $230 if I booked it myself. I always use slickdeals.net to look up good credit card deals. I buy everything with my card & pay it off every month to just rack up cash back. It adds up fast when you get 5%.

I hope this isn't creepy. It's kind of funny to me. I will not be having BMs. But, if I did I would not be able to narrow it down to less than 8 girls. I still want to make these girls a gift as my "honorary BMs." My favorite gift I've ever received as a BM was a little photoalbum of silly pictures of us. So this is what I've been making for my HBMs. I have been trying to come up with something for the cover & I came up with this idea- I could superimpose our heads on someone else's wedding picture. So it would be like they were my honorary bridal party. A picture of a bride & 8 BMs would be the best. But, a picture with a bride, 6 BMs & a ring bearer & flower girl would also work. The album will be full of silly pictures, including one where I merged my friends face with her two sisters to see what their child would look like if they genetically engineered a baby with all 3 of their DNA. So it's not like this is a classy album. Superimposed heads on a bridal party would fit right in. I'm also including quotes about friends from QuoteStack. And I'm typing up our own funny inside joke quotes. It's been a really fun project so far. I*'ll post pictures soon. BTW, this is what it looks like when sisters have a baby together. The flippers are a reference to Nubbins on This American Life. UPDATE Here they are. I'm going to try to order them today to have in time to give my girls when they fly up in April.

Now that this thread has been brought back to life, I watched the slide show again. The speed is perfect & I love the big pictures now. I think it was just a speed/ loading problem before that made me want little, quick click pictures.

I found that website to be really useful for finding a photographer. They have price ranges, samples, etc.

I think jewelers push platiunum as far superior because they make more commission. Palladium sounded great to me, but wasn't available for my setting. For a men's ring I like tungsten.

Did you submit her passport with a birth certificate? It would be a "deleyed birth certificate." If you don't already have one of those, that is the first step. It took me about 16 days to get one of those for my gma. I was able to do all the steps online. Luckily she already had the school records. She had contacted her school for them to get her social security. If your gma claims social security she likely had to get some similar record of age. We submited the passport application with her deleyed BC & school records & 2 weeks later grandma was ready to go to Mexico.
