  1. I don't think you need more. Just throw in a nice thank you note & it's perfect.

Don't ever move 3 weeks before your wedding. I think I lost a BM dress. Not sure yet. I'm a mess! They used to have a registry. Maybe they stopped. For those who are worried about running out of time, just rank your projects. Put the least important stuff at the end & if you don't get to it, no big deal. Nobody will notice. I feel bad asking for help, but I realized my friends think it's fun to get crafty sometimes. They would like it if I had more projects for them to help with. So far I've just gotten help caligraphying my invites. But, I'll probably get help painting my OOT bag cups & making decorations for the AHR. I think as long as you ask in a nice way, like "I totally understand if you are too busy, but I could use some help so I thought if anyone was in the mood to do some crafts they wouldn't mind coming over- I'll have drinks." Just don't let them get too drunk & mess up your projects.

I saw his free engagement shots on his website & they were not impressive. I also wouldn't trust him that they are free. As shady as he seems it's not worth it. You could just have a friend take your picture in LA & get free shots that will probably be better.

  5. The church where my friend had her wedding made mine crazy sparkly. I took some pictures of it while we were waiting for her to do her pro pics, but it didn't capture the shine.

Several people have talked about losing points recently. Try to notice when it happens.

  10. Some of the girls with 10 times my points keep track. You should have seen them when they lost points in the last forum clean up. It was funny that the people with the most points were the most worried. I just tested it & learned polls give you 5 points!
  11. not that I know of. We've had a problem before where someone posted their pictures wrong & it sucked away points by looking at them. People noticed because it was lots of pictures. There might be some threads with pictures posted this way that we don't notice because it's just a few. I don't keep an eye on my points so I wouldn't notice. But, if you see a suspicious thread, tell a mod. Just a reminder- post your pics with photobucket or something like that. Don't upload them onto the forum.

I had some speedo racing suits that made you feel so exposed because they were so thin. I think switching up the straps really helps. But, if it doesn't work it's great to know anything can be fixed with photoshop. I love that I don't have to worry about stuff as much anymore. I tried to pick out a halter dress to wear with my halter suits, but I ended up with normal straps. I need to get a non-halter suit. But, either way my straps are thin. It's not like I tan anyway. Just avoiding burnlines

If people really are interested PM me & we can figure out a deal for me to start making these for other BMs. Or just any random photoshop project. I'm getting closer to having my wedding projects finished so I could probably take on some other people's projects. I'm glad everyone liked these this much. From my title you can tell i was worried people wouldn't think it was a good idea. Mostly for a modern pictures. Now that it's silly pictures it doesn't sound as strange. working on these pictures has gotten me more excited to see my HBMs the first weekend in April! I only see them once or twice a year.

I wonder if we will look back at our dresses & laugh. I can't see how, but I doubt those ladies thought they could ever look out of style. Someday in the year 238 girls will be photoshopping their heads on my wedding pictures for a good laugh.

Do you find plenty of hiking in Austin or nearby? I've really love hiking now that I live in NC, but we'll be moving back to Texas. I'd hope to end up in the Austin area, but I haven't spent much time there.

So for one I can put everyone in the picture, but have britney instead of Kim.

So, I got my starfish for a total of $14.99!!! Here is the link: Bouquet Jewels - Unique Bouquets for Unique Brides Thanks! I got an aquamarine one. I'd be happy to sell it after my wedding.

They are just wrong right now because I don't have all the heads. But, they are kind of funny. In the maria S pic, I'll leave a couple of the real BMs behind because I don't have as many girls & it wouldn't be easy to crop the extra out. At first I was sticking the heads on messy because I don't have the time/ patients to make it look flawless for just a silly project. But, I also think it's funny now. I really like my friend Amy in the front of the picture in the red dresses. Her head is too big & it looks so funny. Too bad my lunch time is over. I want to make more pictures.
  20. I got another friend's head to do a few more of these. I still have 3 more heads to collect. They are on my home computer.

I'm sure there is a review somewhere.
  22. I've seen people wearing them & they are really thin and not supportive. This was about 10 years ago so maybe they are better. I'm going to wear thin straps & adjust them often. I usually don't get a tan line around my neck because I alternate suites & move the straps. I can't wear a strapless because my dress is low cut.

We have been living together for a little over 2 years so even though it is not the ideal situation it will be work out for the better in the long run. If you can tough it out to live with Reggie in the apartment while you look for a house, it will be that much more rewarding when you find your new home. Good luck! We are also busting at the seams in a 1br apartment, but we make it work. I'm really happy with our cheap rent. Recently we went through the house & made multiple piles. stuff to give to friends stuff to give to goodwill stuff to send back home to store (probably pack on a future flight) stuff to sell on ebay stuff to throw away We go 4 big boxes of stuff out of the house. Except for the stuff we plan on storing in his mom's attic. Those boxes are nicely stacked up in the bedroom corner. We have to do this about every year once we start feeling cramped. Another thing that has helped is getting a white noise CD of ocean sounds. It allows me to nap or sleep later than him. That was a big problem before. it also helps with noise from upstairs neighbors. Mike built a big wood box with a lock to put on the patio & store our camping supplies. The small place also keeps me from shopping much. We've been in the 1br 1 bath 660 sq foot place for almost 4 years now. Hopefully we can stick out another 2-3 depending on when I graduate). The cheap rent allows us to save up for a house so when the time is right we can get a place we'll love.
  24. i'd liek the notepads if no one has claimed those either. Thanks!
