I find myself shouting "don't worry, i'll just clone him out" all the time on vacations. I wonder if the person feels insulted. I do go by captain sometimes. It was my old email address until it was hacked & used to distribute a worm. I thought it was time to get a more mature email address now that I was heading to grad school. But, in grad school I'm the "social captain" of my program (I organize happy hours) so I get called captain still.

  3. Oh, I also made a website with all the details. I sent my web address with the save the dates.

Dana my save the dates didn't have a lot of info, but I sent a "prewedding brochure" after guests booked.
  5. I love it! I don't care for champagne but I love margaritas. I do think a champagne glass with salt & lime would be too cute.

Your FIL's hair is a little more than just strays though, but I think it looks fine a little wind blown. It's the beach.

It's really not a competition when he's sending me tips I checked out his website & instantly waved the white flag He has some great PS skills. His hair pic might look better than mine. I tried so many things & finally just cloned out the bigger blowing parts. Go with what looks best. I hope we can make this a great picture.

  9. I tried several things with the hair, but they all looked fake & weird. So it still has a wind blown look, just not so dramatic. I also whitened the teeth a little. I don't have my photoshop book with me today so i didn't do one step for the teeth that helps. Your MIL's teeth will be much lighter once the shadow is removed. Once I do the teeth right, I'll send it on to Mikki for round 2.

When i'm done reading them I pile them up & when friends come over I send them home with them. I was surprised the first time I did this. They attacked them & read them cover to cover in my apartment. No one ever wants to take my Money magazines so I stopped putting them in the give away pile. I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes this smut.

  14. I have always had a good experience with hotels.com. I think for a site visit you can be a little "riskier" and book it though a website like those. For your wedding you can't afford any risk, but for a site visit if your room got bumped, etc. you could probably still work things out. Many of my friends suggested hotels.com for planning a europe trip. It really worked out perfect. It's what they always use too & are very happy with it.

I recently had plastic surgery for my nose...ive been up and down cause well it's on my face and that can be hard with swelling etc. Anyhow, make sure you do tons of research on the best doctor to fit your needs. Go on several consultations and always go with your gut! I think if you want it...go through with it before the wedding! I remember the thread when you were considering it. Are you happy with the results? I hope you love your new nose once the swelling wears off.
  17. I just updated my first post with something I forgot. I still plan on making tags to hang on the bags that say "gracias" and have the guests' names on them.

Sarah made a lumapix how to thread. It took me a while to figure out, but I love it now.

THANK YOU! no prob. We share around here. It's great. Check out my BDW blog (link in my siggy). You can see everything I've done so far. Other girls have posted everything they have too. I think it helps when you are getting started to see a complete picture. It's a little overwhelming at first, but the forum makes it easy. Then you have lots of free time to do excess projects.

Doing a screen capture. It's really not worth buying just to make siggy pics. If you plan to do more with it though, it's a great program. I still have the cheapest version ($40) & I do so much with it. Put it on a birthday list

I suffered through it when I was home for Christmas just to check the forum. I just email her pictures of what I make to keep her in the loop. We live in different states. I can't wait to see her in Mexico! The cup in the picture is her's & she will be the one wearing her hairflower the most. My mom is so cute

I got my subscriptions for $2 a year from some deal on slickdeals.net. I couldn't find anything as cheap last month when I went to buy a subscription for my grandma. She saw some OKs I sent home with my mom & loved them. The best I found was $7 for 2 years on ebay. Great deal for a magazine that comes every week. It's smut, but I like it. Grandma likes it too

I think you reduce the resolution to make it have the little watermark. To get rid of the numbers unclick the "draw frame numbers box" on the page where you save it as a jpg. I'm not sure why you have numbers but no watermark. weird. When I made my first lumapix photobook & was about to order it when I saw something small in the corner of each picture. It was those dumb numbers! I had to resave every single page!!! Anyway, I think the numbers are fine for a siggy pic. I love that everyone is starting to collage. They will only keep getting better.
