I'll still keep buying civics. my car is over 9 yrs old with no problems (except for the lack of stereo ) I love my car.

Then you'll see me [email protected]. I'll have to get more creative next time

We're not babysitters! Then, we were dealing with upset people because the starfish didn't get to them in time... Just a word of warning for those of you that want to start passing stuff on. This way nothing gets lost! Yeah, that's what I meant. It's too much for the mods to have to keep up with when people don't do their part. It wouldn't have been hard if people followed the rules. So I think it's better taking the responsibility off the mods to keep up with it & just have people buy their own. I'm sorry to hear people were so inconsiderate to Shelley & Courtney. I hope the new system works smoothly & no one ruins the fun. I don't mind passing mine on because I don't want it back.

Jerks! if my camera was stolen with pictures on it I didn't have downloaded yet I'd be really upset. I actually swap out my SD cards on vacation to protect my pictures from being stolen if I lost my camera. I wasn't too upset until this cop showed up & started making bad jokes. I took a while to find my registration & he said he was going to haul me away in handcuffs. Then he picked on me for not removing the faceplate. I used to, but it's hard to take off this stereo. I always felt like I was going to break it. I said I'm typically a really safe person and he said "is that why you had $5 in your console." Geez, it's not like I'd be devistated to lose $5. It's in there because I get really dizzy when i need to eat. So it's like emergency backup money for food. The purse was taken by someone in my confirmation class. There were about 20 of us in the church practicing for confirmation. One girl left early & took my purse on her way out.

I had my radio preset to a station that my itrip transmitted a signal to. So I'd plug in the itrip & it would play my ipod over that station. It works better if the ipod is also plugged into the outlet getting power. An itrip is about $30. But, soon I'll have a stereo with an ipod input. That's the bright side of this. I also have a clock radio I got at target for $20 that has an ipod input. It's really nice too. I play my ipod over the bathroom radio when i take a bath. I love listening to my podcasts. I'm addicted to "this amereican life."

The good news is that you're ok. A cd player is replaceable yep, that's how I feel. A cd player isn't something that is hard to replace or that expensive. I think it was $160. I'm bumed, but I'm not devistated. I had my purse stolen in 8th grade at church. I haven't gotten over that one. I'm such a cautious person. I have a huge padlock on my computer at work & one on my monitor. I know this is just going to make me that much more cautious. I'll go back to removing the faceplate everyday & bringing it inside. A guy in the lab next to me had his laptop stolen thursday. That would really upset me. All that information & how hard it is to replace. So I sent out an email warning everyone to backup their harddrives on thrusday. I planned to do a big backup on friday & my computer wouldn't start that morning. How crazy is that? Luckily mike recovered my hard drive so i didn't lose anything. I had to buy a new hard drive. So I've been having some bad luck. But, I can tell I am so happy with my life because it really isn't getting to me. How can I be upset when so many other things in my life are so perfect?
  7. I totally agree. Uneven is so much better than fillers.

But, it was not the factory part. After I bought that stereo to replace my broken factory one, I learned about the kind with the input for plugging in your ipod. So I'll get that kind to replace it. Doesn't really make it better, but atleast I have something to look forward to. I listen to my ipod mostly when I drive.
  9. The pryed open my passenger door & took my stereo. I guess I am an optomist, because I was just happy to see they didn't break anything. They also didn't take my checkbook. They pulled it out of my console along with other stuff, but left it on the seat so it looks like they were just looking for electronics. They robbed another girl in my complex last night & got her stereo & ipod. They may have taken my ipod plug & itrip. I need to look again & see if they are missing. I never leave my ipod in my car though. I'm sad they got my new CD A friend made it for me & gave it to me Friday. I can get another copy. It just makes me mad that I'll have to drive around in silence until I replace my stereo. I used to always take off my face plate, but I got lazy about it. I prefer to keep a factory stereo in my car because they aren't a target for theft, but it broke 2 years ago.
  10. I've also seen the men at the front with the groom & the girls walk in together. It looks so natural. The groom has his friend with him for support & the girls have each other. I think it was a video someone put up recently. There were 2 or 3 girls walking in side by side maybe with their arms linked. As a BM, I've always found it to be a little awkward walking in with a grooms man I barely know.

  12. I like the setup of collages.net. It's cool how you can pick the pictures you want to see. I usually want to skip right to the couple & then look at the others afterwards. Is that a website you have to have a subscription to? Do you get to see the fake email addresses? If so, that jus tmakes me want to come up with a sillier fake one each time.
  13. fun pictures. I see you put your underwater casing to good use I like the tether ball pictures too. It's great that they have their beautiful, elegant pictures & their funny ones too. Looks like a fun wedding.
  14. Has anyone managed to find clipart as nice as what is on a white aisle invitation? vintage invitations, lace letterpress invitations, something different invitations

I do take my camera hiking a lot. Hmm, I might put it on the wish list. It would be nice to have when we are just hanging out at the hotel pool. I had thought about buying a bunch of disposables, but I think I would prefer to buy 1 case & just share my camera when we snorkel. I'd get more milage out of it.
  16. You can send your film/ cameras to snapfish & they mail you the pictures & post them online. I'd definitly get one of the cases jean marcus posted if I was in the water enough. I really think that is the way to go if you use it enough. My friend scubas & has a case like that. I hope she can make it to my wedding
  17. can you take rice & bird seed? I can ask my entomologist friend, but I think you want to avoid taking anything that could have bugs in it. Bubbles confetti beach balls
  18. I've just heard they planned it when they got there. but i wasn't planning to do more than my bouquet & mikes flower. Maybe some for our moms & my grandma. I didn't see any need to look for outside vendors. I don't care to have a lot of flowers & their prices/ flowers seem good. I'll probably have all your answers after june.

Except it's tar-let. but basically the same. I'll have to throw in "real quick like" next time.
  20. What color do you want? I have it in photoshop ( i typed an h) now i can easily erase the line. I'm just not sure how it will work out for your design. It will have a white background. If you can give me exact colors I can make the font & background in the right colors.
  21. You knew I'd answer didn't you? You can't bring dried petals into Mexico. The hotel petals are $10 per bag & a bag is enough for atleast 10 people. After my wedding I can give you more specifics. I bought organza bags to put petals in for everyone, but I've realized that really just the people on the aisles need them. Just a way to save money if you want to.
  22. I made my mom a photobook for mother's day 2 years ago. I called her tonight & she was sitting on the couch flipping through it. If you haven't made a photobook before, make one for your mom & grandma. Even my dad loves them. Well, he gets a calendar with picture collages. He carries it around town. I can't wait to make them all photobooks from the wedding.

You should tell her the BB&B tip then. I've never been good at origami. I'm not patient enough to fold perfectly straight. My friend who made the cranes loves it though. He is making 1000 more.
