If this happened when I was 18 I would be so upset. A stereo would be like a months pay back then & my jobs were so boring then too. Driving in silence is already getting to me. I don't do well with silence. I need constant distraction or i get bored. When I had my first car, the stereo didn't work so I had a little cassette player sitting on the passenger seat. Wish I still had that

I will definitly ask you for help if I get stuck. I hoped I could find the patterns online for free. I just need to write a sentence & I want to make a picture. Something that represents our wedding. I'd love to see a picture of your project when you are done. What are you making them?

I think I need DIY rehab. I'm looking up websites to see how to cross stitch. Is it hard? I can't imagine it's that hard. I saw on a website that kids do it. Hmm, maybe I can hire some kids to do mine. Say I'm volunteering at the boys & girls club & we are having arts & crafts day I might head to michaels tonight with my 40% off coupon & get supplies.

Now I can't stop thinking of silly things to put in the box along with the starfish. I seriously am addicted to making things.

I'm going to PM you for your address so I can get the box ready so it will be really easy after my wedding to send it on it's journey. I'll put lisa's address in the box. Yay! I get to put one of our "after we are married" address labels on it. I ordered both kinds. It's so pretty & sparkly.

when you resize them in photobucket they will automatically change size on the forum. You don't have to do anything else. I love the hankeys too.

I wouldn't sweat about it too much! yeah, i think it's kind of common to rank them. Sometimes its how long you've known them which isn't bad. But I've seen where it's who you are closest too. I got bumped from last to 3rd after throwing her bachelorette party & another BM didn't pay for her dress Score! -

OK it's kind of pricy. With shipping it would be $22 each (plus the cost of shipping to 2 other people). That's for 8 cups of streamers. It does look really pretty & might not cost as much as rose petals. -
Matron/Maid of honor Dilema

I was recently the maid of honor & another friend was the matron. It was great how it worked out because it would have been hard for her to pick between the two of us. I was closest to her & walked with the best man. I guess her & I have been closer friends lately. But there were other reasons to do it. I'm a pro bridesmaid (9 times) so I typically end up at one of the ends. I had to lead the sitting & standing (catholic wedding). I also walked in alone. The other girl would have been uncomfrotable with that. We were in another wedding together & she had me go last so I would walk in first. I've been down the aisle so many times I don't get nervous. It was cool sharing the MOH duty. We took turns fluffing the dress. We gave a toast together. That was one of my favorite parts of the wedding. The pictures are funny too. My next wedding has 2 MOHs (her sisters) and me as a BM. I think anything goes. The only thing I don't like is feeling ranked in order of how close you are to the bride. I was in a wedding with 6 girls & we were ranked down to the last girl. I think it's best to do MOH & then do the rest by height, alphabetically, etc. Not favorites. -

I wanted it to be super easy to clean! I don't know if our resort has any restrictions, but I don't know how they can argue with these! They are a little pricey at $3 each, but We might just give them to people on the ends of the aisles... The cheapest place I've found them is Wedding Favors and Gifts I love these! I could probably just have 8 for the people in the aisles & split it 3 ways if anyone is interested. It would be $19 each. I'd want the primary colored ones. Anyone interested? -
Wow, they are so much cheaper now than they were 2 years ago. I can get a stereo installed with an ipod plug for less than $150.

Then just send it on to Lisa (stormstong). June, August, December. We will have plenty of time to pass it on.

I also love being able to use a song we like, but have it instrumental so it works for a wedding.

I just got to watch the cop dust for fingerprints. It was pretty interesting & he was very nice (unlike the last guy who was annoying). He dusted a CD case my friend just gave me. I think I'll have to leave the dust on it & do something funny with it. I might tell her that her prints were found on it & they discovered that she is a fugative.

I think your video was the one I watched recently then. I'll go take a look. I like how it looked with the uneven party. edit nope, not the one. But great video

Lately tho I've been eyeing the Dodge Magnum, it's like a really cool version of a mom-car! I have a 1999 2-door EX. I bought it new right before graduating high school. So it's been with me through high school, college & now grad school. As long as it's still in good condition, I want to keep it until I need a mom car which will be like 4-5 years from now. I'm all for buying dependable cars & driving them until they become more costly to repair. This car, Cybil, has been great. Other than fixing the automatic windows, I haven't done anything else besides maintenence. We are in a drought right now so I haven't washed her since October or November, but when she is all shined up people think it's a new car. If I bought a mom car right now it would be a honda pilot or a subaru forrester.

I'm happy today because a friend sent the first draft of our walking down the aisle song. he is playing an instrumental of couting crows colorblind on the keyboard. It sounds great & is so special to us because he is one of mike's best friends. he can't attend the wedding because he has a new born, but this way he'll be there in spirit.
