  1. There are threads with details. I'll see what I can find. There is a search bar in the upper right hand corner that might help you out.
  2. Threadjack, but Maria how is it possible you have no karma? Have you tried to steal points? If our theories about karma are right, you should have a bunch of it. Have you ever donated points? Originally I thought karma came from donating points. Sorry, I have an obsession with getting to the bottom of the whole karma thing.
  3. Wow! I have nothing to say.

There was also a Charles in Charge episode where the guys abbandoned the kids because he wanted to ummmm "get together with" a stewardess. As a kid I wondered what stewardess meant. I figured it was something dirty.

Hahahahaa, yeah, that's probably more like something that I would write... I plan on writing a haiku about starfish. Then I'll write a short story comparing a starfish to a bride. Starfish regenerate right? I'm sure that can be a metaphore for something.
  7. Remember when mr. building's cool brother came to town & got the kids all excited about white water rafting? Then he let them down by running off for some reason. What was that reason?

They were also really cheap - like $2 for 100. So - that's another option that might be quicker for those of you with a lot to do ... it will save you the folding and taping time. Either way - they turn out super-cute and are definitely cheaper than the individually wrapped option! Thanks again! that's great. I'm glad to hear people liked them.
  9. Aviary - Login You have to request an invitation. I don't really know how it works, but it sounds cool. I'm starting to think you are the one who hearts poo.
  10. My reasons are like so many posted before ~I've been a BM 9 times. I started to find the traditional wedding to be boring. I just wasn't excited at all about planning a wedding ~I don't want to be the center of attention either. I like the idea of having 20-30 people & just all have fun together ~The thought of planning a wedding made me sick to my stomach & I'd start sweating ~I love planning vacations so planning a DW is so much more fun for me ~originally i didn't want to really plan the wedding at all. I wanted to show up & get married. Obviously that has changed. But, it's because I'm having fun planning which is something I didn't expect. This forum makes it fun & I've enjoyed all the DIY projects ~My mom would be a wreck as a traditional mother of the bride. She is way more relaxed about a DW. ~we are able to do so much more for the same money ~I live in NC & my family is in Texas so we'd be flying anyway. ~I love the backdrop of turquoise water ~I can't wait for a big vacation together There has been problems with flight prices, people not being able to make it, etc. But, it's totally worth it. I just got our immediate family booked & haven't worried about anything else. it really doesn't upset me when someone can't make it. I didn't want a bunch of guests in the first place.

I just recently got photoshop involved in the book designs. Your parents will love the books! I sent the friend an email. I gave her the code a long time ago so I bet she forgot about it. There is a free online version of photoshop called Aviary. I've never used it. I just heard about it this week.
  12. there are cheap codes on ebay. I'll email a friend I gave a code to. If she wasn't planning to use it, I'll give it to you. Only if you stop with the poo jokes

  14. I love it. I also loved Becky's necklace. The rough pearls on there are exactly what I've looked for. This is a necklace I've wanted to match. I've looked all over for a matching bracelet, but couldn't find it. I'd be interested in hiring you to make it if you are interested.

Ad just in time to stop the bad guy! Reality tv this was not! Oh the evil Jeff. I forgot about that. I think they had 17 proms. I think Zach liked the duck because he would see it from the football fields during practice. Or was he practicing rugby, swimming, dance, theatre, trach, basketball, wheel chair basketball...I can't remember. He was on every team.

Maybe I just need to drink more coffee....Mmmm....coffee... were they romeo & juliette at zach & kelly's prom? I think it was a different prom. Zach & Kelly's prom was when world peace broke out & Mr. Kapawski lost his job so Kelly gave him back the wad of cash she was going to use to buy her prom dress. So Zach & Kelly had their own prom outside under the sign that said "Zach & Kelly's prom." Do you know the oil episode? I was with friends in this building that had a small scale replica of the new building plans for the area. I mentioned zach morris putting the oil wells on the replica of the new plans for Bayside High. And then the rest of the gang walked in with oil covered ducks. No one remembered that one. I think they may have run that episode more in Texas. Remember when Slater & Jessie were trapped in the boiler room during a dance? How thought high school was going to be just like SBTB?

I've been hunting for a picture of "Zach and Kelly's" prom. I thought this thread was going to be about how jean-marcus loves to get up early & watch the sunrise & take pictures of it. Nope, saved by the bell. I like the episodes where they strike oil at bay side high & the one where they are in the school musical. Swan lake?

This made me think about why I like the starfish thing so much. I'm not sentimental usually, but I really like the idea of sharing a starfish. I probably wouldn't even have something borrowed, etc if it wasn't the starfish. I tend to not care for tradition. So after much thought (a minute), I realized what I like about it. I like seeing the starfish in pictures & feeling a sort of unity between us. Because, really we are in this all together. So the starfish to me is representing BDW as a Xth bridesmaid. Like how sports have the 12th man. If you have 4 BMs, BDW can be the 5th. I get more wedding support here than anywhere else. I shouldn't give away my best material for my journal entry. As the wedding approaches I find myself becoming more & more sentimental. It's a little weird. I didn't even like weddings before planning mine. That's how much I've changed

  21. I'm not having one for several reasons. I have too many girls I couldn't narrow it down to less than 8 or 9. I don't have a sister to be able to keep it easy like that. There is no way I could pick just one. I don't have someone who would clearly be that one. Mike would only have 3-4 guys. I'm fine with mismatched, but I don't want a huge imbalance. We are different about friendships. I keep in touch & continue friendships with all the girls who I've been very close to. He just gets close to a few guys. I say it's because I talk so much I need a lot of friends to spread it out. We decided it would just be so much easier to not have a bridal party. I'm happy we did this. Some girls who would definitly be my BMs can't make it. Same for 2 of his good friends. We had talked about just waiting to see who books and making them bridal party. But, we finally decided to just make the whole group our wedding party. There should just be about 30 of us. I'm having honorary BMs. I'm making them a silly photoalbum & giving them a nice thank you. Just a way to recognize my friends without the BM stuff.

Hopefully I can do as well as you did at 8 years old. I was busy making hot pot holders then. My mom got mad because she bought us the material to make them. But then grandma offered us a nickle each, so we sold them all to grandma. She had a drawer full of them and my mom really needed some.
  24. Cute. I like it. Too bad I just dropped off my marker board at goodwill. I might do this for a party or the AHR. Ahh, too many ideas!
