I'm going to check that out next time I open my program.

I wouldn't suggest doing the brochures with my instuctions if you have no computer savvy. It would be frustrating. I made these in a pretty weird way. A differen't program like MS publisher would have made a lot more sense. I just don't have that program. I'd suggest just making a word document with all the info if you don't want a technically challenging project. But, if you feel up to it, give it a shot. I've learned A LOT since I started planning my wedding. This was my hardest DIY project though. I was up all night working on it.

I think if you are doubting that you should put them in there, you probably know your guests best. But that's still kinda silly if someone was upset by it. They can see snatch just by looking at People! Ok, it's blurred and all, but whatever. I wouldn't expect any of my guests to care, but I wondered if I was just different. I don't really care what mike reads.

I'm glad you told me that though because I'm sure I'd eventually put them on a photobook or something. All my designs so far have been for the web. I actually started to take them off, but then I decided I should just post it ASAP. I haven't learned how to do something that applies to everything. I would have to click each text box. Is there a way to change it all at once? I'm always wanting to change the color of all my frames at once, but I end up doing them individually. There must be a select all.

I really think a fancy main page is all you need to make this invites spectacular. They really are great how they are. This one change will make them perfect.

  10. I googled "Texas boudoir" and some scary stuff popped up. I'm surprised I didn't see any ladies wrapped in a Texas flag, but there was one in a Texas bikini.

I'm sure other people ahve good suggestions. If you'd want to use it, I'll need the dimensions you want it in. I should also get that seashell graphic (or something like it) and get the shades right. That was just a quick draft.

They really push the GNC stuff. Are there any good men's magazines? I got a really good women's magazine the other day (someone left it at my house). It's called "blueprint." He had some real content in it. Not just a bunch of junk. Mike's favorite magazine is called "Make." It shows you how to build stuff & make weird projects. But, he wouldn't be willing to give those away. He saves them & rereads them all the time.

I am going to do a poll. Yeah, I like them. IMO, if they were mine I'd use them. I think they are great invites. But, if they were not a finished product & someone sent me a sample, I would do the fonts & writting a little different. I don't dislike it enough to trash them though. It just wouldn't be my first choice.
  15. Actually, I think you'd only need to redo the main page. You could keep the font the same for the sea shell verse to unify it. Then use a really cool, scripty font for your names. I think it would look awesome with that one change.
  16. I like them too. I wouldn't have chosen "justify all" for the spacing either, but I think it looks fine. Still, I think they are cooler than any wedding invite I've received. If you really hate them, what about just redoing the part with the text & keep your pocketfolds?
  17. I love it. You have such a pretty smile. The book looks great & I've already told you how great I think your pictures are. He will LOVE it!
  18. For some reason, I am so excited about this meet up. I want pictures & details tomorrow You guys are going to have so much fun!

I know a few of the guys going who would enjoy these, so I might put them in. Mike used to read Men's Health & I felt like it gave him a negative body image. I got him to switch to Maxim. I felt like it was better for him to look at airbrushed women than airbrushed men He can be really hard on himself.

Grandmas love them, too.

She bought Mike a maxim subscription a few years ago. But, her husband isn't coming. It's so hard to predict who would care. So maybe it's just safer not to put them in the bags. I know lots of guys who read OK, so maybe they can just enjoy those. I thought I'd just ran it past you ladies, because I wasn't sure if other women cared. Sounds like some do. It's not worth potentially offending someone. To me it's just like cosmo for guys. I guess it is different because it has ladies in their underware.
  22. I planned to put OK magazines in the OOT bags for the ladies. We also have a subscription to Maxim. Will wives/ girlfriends be mad if we give their men Maxim? It is full of barely dressed ladies, but I could care less if Mike reads it. The subscription is actually in my name. But, I'm not sure how other women feel. Would you be upset if someone gave your guy a Maxim?
