if you fire them, you should not pay for their accomidations. That will show them I tend to side with the bridal party in these situations because I've been through it so many times, but it sounds like you are being more than accomidating & they are not even trying. I would be upset.

The mom might have known. I have no evidence, but knowing what a horible person her husband was, she was likely abused in some way too. People will ignore some terrible things out of fear.

I am impressed you have friends that will drive 4-5 hours for a shower. I personally never leave town for a shower. Could you combine the shower & bachelorette party into one day?

I hand delivered my save the dates. about 10 of my friends work in the same building so it made sense. It was fun to hand deliver them anyway. It's not like they benefit at all from you paying the postal service to deliver them.

In my phd program, I get to meet lots of famous scientists. Nobel prize winners & people whos name you learn in freshman biology. It's very exciting to me. I went to dinner with Matthew Meselson (Meselson Stahl experiement) & James Earl Jones was in the same restaurant. I was more excited that I was eating dinner with the guy who discovered how DNA replicates. Mike was so mad I didn't call him & tell him James Earl Jones was there. I don't know what he thought he would do. It's the kind of restaurant you have to have reservations for so he couldn't just pop in & get a table. Oh, I thought you said you were working in powerpoint. I moved a template (jmill130s) into powerpoint. It's missing a piece though. You can resize the powerpoint file size in the file menu. There is a thread about flipping stuff in word. I never draw in word so I don't know off hand. boarding pass.ppt

Do you know how to group it? its in the draw menu. Select it & group. Then when you paste it somewhere you can drag it easily. It paste in a random place each time. Click on the image & a box pops up around it. Grap the green dot & you can rotate it. There is also "flip" in the draw menu.

Looks good. If you want to spice it up a little you can always use a different font for the main titles. I used papyrus for mine.

$500 a night is really high. I like websites like funjet.com for getting estimates on prices. But, then definitly book with a TA. There are several TAs on the forum.

Just put them in a long envelops that opens on the end. I think it would be really cute & not expensive. That's an idea but I think might cost more than doing the postcards for free/practically free? Yes, it would be more than postcards. I was thinking for your invites, not STDs. The postcards are definitely a lot cheaper, especially if you don’t need envelops & can use the cheap stamps. I’m going to do wedding announcements after the wedding with more vista print postcards. I love them! They will be my Christmas cards from now on too.
