  2. I'm not doing the biggest loser competition, but I have my own little badge now
  3. Inspired by the biggest loser badges, I made some for Club Ferret. To put one on your siggy, copy & paste the IMG code, but remove the *'s. 4. I had to come check out this thread to see what the cute badges were all about. I love them!
  5. I agree with what everyone has said. Both are pretty, but so expensive. If you have the money & are used to spending that on underware, than get them.
  6. I love them! You have such a great smile It looks like y'all had a great time in the disco.

Myweddings.com PROS: customizable pages CONS: Beachy themes not quite as pretty as others Islandbrides.com CONS: No RSVP option eweddings.com CONS: Lots of basic options missing with the free version And finally, the one I chose... (after setting up a website with each of the others!!!) momentville.com PROS: beautiful background, very functional, create your own pages CONS: momentville sounds so cheasy! (I put that comment in my guestbook though so people can laugh about it) momentville is awesome! This definitly would have been the one I used if I knew about it last July. I used wedding announcer because it was free & easy to customize. I agree, the main drawback to wedding announcer is the lack of good backgrounds.
  8. Weasel? I don't see a weasel. I'll facebook friend you. Then you can see how strange I really am.

It went beyond just looking at porn for a short amount of time to get off. He spent his ENTIRE day downloading porn and spending money we didn't have on porn and chatting with webcam girls online, etc. etc. I had a MAJOR problem with that. The point is he's doing something that she's uncomfortable with and it's something that can destroy them in the long run. Believe me, it may seem like a silly thing to gt upset about, but addiction is totally differet from normal porn watching and can cause a great deal of pain and insecurity in your friend. I think they need to address this ASAP. I agree, that is taking it way too far. It's very different from a guy occasionally peaking at a magazine or doing a few google searches. He needs to be careful also not to load their computer with viruses & adware. I knew a guy that had a wall of porn & a t-shirt that said "i love porn." I felt so sorry for his girlfriend.
  11. I dont think the fact that he hides it is part of a bigger issue. He could easily be honest aobut everything else, but hides this one thing because obviously she doesn't approve. I personally don't care if a guy looks at that stuff. Just about every guy I know does. Often if a woman forbids it, the guy just sneaks it. I think sometimes guys just need a little visual stimulation. I don't think she should make him feel guilty about it or creepy.
  12. Airtran starts may 15th, but their 2nd bag is only $10. I'm pretty sure these are all each way. We will really have to be careful when we go home for Christmas. We usually have trouble fitting everything in our 4 checked bags. I told Mike he has to stop building computers for our family. Last year we flew home 2 computers. He builds his dad a new computer everytime we go home. He is flying home wednesday with another one. I would rather see the airlines do this than raise prices on tickets.

That sounds so sweet. I used to get my mom a hanging flower pot each year when I would be home for mother's day. She'd get one from my brother too.

To add to that--- make sure to compare how the maintenance prices for a hybrid compares to regular vehicles. If I remember correctly, hybrids use different oil, and because replacement parts aren't "mainstream" yet, they tend to be more expensive. Also, check the lifespan of the fuel cell (I think that's what it is called) because I've heard the replacement cost is about $5k. (Not sure on that tho...) Also, insurance rates increase the more expensive a vehicle is to repair when damaged---- so definitely check insurance rates before buying because you could see a significant increase when purchasing a hybrid. I've also heard the battery is expensive to replace. I'm sticking with a small car for now. I have a honda civic, but I love the new Honda Fit. it's surprisingly roomy, cheap & gets great gas milage. My next car will be a small SUV like a subaru forrester. That will be the car that tows kids & a dog. The hybrids are not enticing enough for me to get rid of my civic. I hope there is a great option in 3-4 years when I'm ready for my next car.
  15. I made her a card on shutterfly with lots of pictures of us together. Then I got her 3 casual shirts. Last year I made a photobook & she loved it. This year I stuck with a photocard, because I'll be doing tons of projects with our wedding pictures for her. Momma loves pictures & home made gifts. Here is the card. I didn't crop her head in that one pic. It was chopped off. The 3 in the corner are all of matching outfits. I hated the red jumpsuit. This is the cover of the card I made Mike's mom

  17. are you getting married at an AI? Do you have travel agent? I told people about my hotel & gave them my TAs contact info. I did not hold rooms. Browse around the forum & you should see many expamples of what people have done to give you an idea.
  18. It was so much fun to see your pictures. You look great! The groomsmen were too funny.
  19. There is a search tool in the upper right. You'll find lots of info about claudia.

I hate to do it, but we'd really like to save that 3G's for a house, instead of our wedding photos. Plus my creative photographer friend is going to shoot pictures of us "as a guest" and hopefully that will supplement for the lame photos the hotel might take. Still might be nice to have the option to have an outside vender though - i hate the idea that if I could restle up some extra cash we would be able to hire an outside vendor! I think there is seriously something wrong with the karisma management. They seem to make everything difficult that we've dealt with so far. I just get the overall feeling that their management practices are soley motivated by money and not be a desire to please their guests. Don't the realize that if the work with people guests will respect that and give them repeat business!? Britt These are just my priorities, so you might feel completely different, but I'd much rather have a cheaper hotel & a great photographer. There are so many amazing hotels in RM that are much more affordable for rooms & receptions. They may not be as beautiful as EDR though. It really depends on your priorities. I picked a hotel where rooms are $90 per person per night & the reception & ceremony are very affordable. The hotel is still very nice because it's a resort (you get much more for your money in mexico), but it's not as beautiful as EDR. Still, a great photographer will find the beautiful spots & make the pictures amazing. The hotel guys rarely return good work. There is also the matter of they are mistreating brides & don't deserve your business. If you have fallen in love with this property we can't blame you. It is amazing. But, it is something to strongly consider.
