I will probably be getting my BM dress from them though. I'll check out save the dress. I think it's a new style so it might take a while for it to be available used. She has a while until she needs to order it. The only probably with used is that she is very tall so if it has been hemmed it will be too short.

She looked great in so many dresses, but that one had everything she wanted. Now she is just looking for a better price. She was in north carolina with me. Things tend to be cheaper in texas. I am leaning towards option #2. I hate to cover the back of my dress with a thicker veil. I'm on the occansey site now looking at my options.
  3. I know everyone loves pictures, so I thought I'd post some of my friend's favorite dress from a trip to a bridal salon Thursday. The dress is Paloma Blanca #3854. She would get the option without the bow. It was $2100 at the salon which was more than she wants to spend. Anyone know a site that sells Paloma Blanca dresses for less? I can find great deals on other dresses, but not this brand. I plan on setting up ebay watches incase someone lists it. Here are the runner ups:

  5. PS, when I'm taking my picture in the mirror wearing that veil, my friend that flew up to see me is the bride next to me. That was her favorite dress so far. You can probably guess that by the smile on her face. She'd get the bow removed though. The only problem was it is over her price range. I'm setting up some ebay watches & scanning some websites to see if I can find it cheaper. it's Paloma Blanca #3854 incase anyone wants to know.
  6. I had originally planned on ordering from occansey until I was offered two veils from friends. Do you know how long they take? If this veil doesn't work, I'll order a veil from them ASAP. here is friend's veil #2 I'm worried it's too ivory. My dress is called ivory, but it's probably natural or diamond white. It's not a wedding dress, so I don't think the color is described as specifically on the tag. The trim on this veil might not match. My other concern is that I love the V back of my dress & I don't want to block it. This veil is a little fuller & it's 2 layer than the one below. I think the one below might work better because it will let my dress show through. I also like the legth. I wanted a really simple veil that was fairly long. I love how it looks when they blow in the wind. If I go with an occansey veil, I'll probably get the custom cut for a very sheer look. What do y'all think? I would be fine with no embellishments. Mostly, I care about having it long & sheer. So it would probably be $30 from Occansey. But, there is the sentimental value of wearing my friends. Her 5 year anniversary is the same day as my wedding. Decisions, decisions!
  7. Updates! I dropped my friend off at the airport this morning so now I have a chance to polish up her save the date. version 2 version3 version4 version5 Feedback appreciated!!

  9. Welcome! My wedding is also in riviera maya. You will find tons of info!!
  10. I have heard the arguments against gay marriage, but I still don't get it. I hope we see some huge changes in the next few years. It is about time! I'm so happy for the couples that can now start planning their weddings. I know how much my wedding means to me & I'm glad they can now have the same joy.
  11. If you ship them, definitly pick media rate. Magazines are heavy. I sold some magazines on ebay & couldn't believe how much shipping was.

Also, Ann & Paul both travel a ton, so they may have FF Miles, or hotel credits at their disposal- Ann & I haven't really talked about that yet. At the very minimum, we will send them a care package, probably some restaurant gift certificates, etc to help while they're there. If you have any other ideas feel free to post them I love the idea of doing something practical like this. I imagine you know what people would want while in the hospital.
  13. I sent mine in early this morning when I couldn't fall back to sleep because I was worried about them. I know you girls will come up with something great to help them feel at home in california.

She wants a clover green dress. We found the color she liked in Alfred Angelo, After 6, & forever yours. The plan is for us to just get clover in one of those brands in the same material. They all had a couple cute dresses, but After 6 had the best variety for each girl to find a unique one they like. We can get them for $100 from one of the discount websites. I plan on shopping around more to see if I can find an even better deal. I like these 3.

I know last time I was in cancun we could only get corona & dos equis at the hotel. I hope the hotel we are staying at this time has a variety. I love tying new beer.

I'll try those today. I am loving that oak tree. We went through many pages of google images until we found it. Then I cleaned up the picture & made it into a photoshop brush. It looks like an oak tree that was in my grandparents backyard. They built their house on that spot of land to be near the oak tree.
  21. your skin looks so great in your siggy pic. So unless that is a really old picture, you look much younger than 31. I'm 26 I've had the dry spots & redness for a long time. I moisterize a lot more often now. I try to do it every night but I forget. I like really simple, mild stuff. I use ponds. In harsh light I feel like I can see wrinkles & spots that just look damaged. Especially my forhead. But, everyone tells me I'm imagining it too. But, it sure beats pimples! I get the occasional one, but it's nothing like age 12-23. I also try to be much better about sunscreen.

BAD idea) anyway, one of our friends has had his diamond fall out 3 times, and every single time they replace it with practically NO questions asked and his rate has never increased. I checked this place out. Their rates start at $50 per year for a $5000 ring. It varies on where you live. You can also make it cheaper by having a deductable. My friend who is visting has a beautiful royal ascher ring. I love her ring. We were talking about insurance & she said she was told it was so expensive that in a few years you had spent as much as the ring costs. I guess the person who told her that had gotten a bad quote.
