I can't imagine it will stay that high. it's still a market & if tickets are too much people just won't fly to cancun so they have to keep prices somewhat reasonable.

Then I need to glue together my programs, glue ribbons on my fans & other little things like that. So i'm not in the clear, but on my way. Oh & I need to wrap up our music plans. -

I sold some on ebay & ended up loosing money because shipping was so much. I got a subscription to OK for about $4 for the year & I've been stashing those away for our guests. I find my cheap magazines on slickdeals.net & ebay. I got $2 subscriptions to several magazines for all of this past year. The money went to malaria research too -
What about paying her to do your hair makeup & pics? So she can put that money towards the trip. Is she a photographer?

She had to pay for a 2nd rental car to have them look at it again and this time they charged her $150. I think they take advantage of women. Hard core. Finally my dad went with my sister and they stopped charging her to fix the problem she had already paid to get fixed. The motor in my Honda broke one year. It's a common problem with Honda's apparently. So it's not the motor that's broken? nope I had the motor replaced about 4 years ago. This is another part. I've heard there are 4 seperate parts that can break in the window. funny story about that. I was working at the county health department. It was right across the street from a mexican restaurant. The radio station was giving away a prize every week of a limo ride & lunch at that restaurant. We thought it would be hilarious to win, so we entered & won. The limo picked us up & drove us across the street for lunch. I took advantage of having a ride to lunch that day & dropped my car off to get the motor replaced on my window. So after lunch the limo dropped me off at the car place. It was a tacky orange limo too.

It does seem like communication with dreams can be a pain. But, there are so many dreams brides on the forum you can get all the info you need here & barely have to talk to the dreams WC. Once you get there it sounds like they take care of everything great.

OK I can't find the thread with the green dress. Maybe someone else can. But, she has already gotten married so you can see the green dress in the wedding pictures. -

Keep in mind 75% of my opinion comes from watching court shows where the fact that someone waited so long to take serious action tends to lose them the case (even if they were potentially in the right)...so that's really all I know. IMO you can try one last time to appeal to their kindess, but I would just chalk it up and not go back I don't want to take any kind of legal action. Mostly I just wondered if I was being a wimp to just let it go. The shop is this little family owned place. I don't feel like they were screwing me over. They just really couldn't figure out what is wrong. With getting my car there being such a PITA I do just want to give up & stick with opening my door. I've gotten good at swiping in the parking garage through the door. I understand that if a mechanic can't figure it out they really can't take the loss of all the time spent. I guess I thought they would atleast meet me in the middle & refund part of the labor expenses. With my next car, the first time an automatic window breaks I'm getting hand cranks installed.

It is pretty expensive to leave the car at the airport, so hopefully you have good luck at leaving it at the hotel. But, if he does need to leave the truck at the aiport, the parking garage is right across from where he would need to enter. It might be a little of a walk for him if he is used to a wheelchair. I do not think they have valet. I could be wrong, but I have never seen any.... Once inside the airport it is still easy to navigate. I actually haven't been inside since they started remodeling but I drop Jay off there all the time and he never has any problems. I don't know if Ryan Intl or Aeromexico are in Terminal 1 or 2..but the signs are easy to see... I guess my answers didn't help you out too much.... I hope someone can give you some info on the Cancun airport. Thanks! I'm think some hotels will let you leave a vehicle there. We did that in Houston once. Maybe we paid parking. I have a list of hotels to call tomorrow. I'm just glad to hear it isn't hard to navigate the airport. I'd hate for him to be in a huge airport like bush.

we decided he should stay at a hotel near the airport so he doesn't have to worry about parking & running late. He lives 1 1/2 hours from SA. I'm going to call some tomorrow & confirm the hotel shuttle is wheelchair accesible. Then he can get dropped off at the door. Also, I need to make sure he can leave his truck at the hotel. I'm pretty sure the hotels near airports allow that. I'm feeling much less worried now. It's going to be a difficult trip for him. I can't wait to be in Mexico so I can stop planning!

My dad is flying out of the San Antonio airport. He hasn't flown in 30 years & he is in a wheelchair. He is getting worried about it. I told him I was going to send him an entire packet of stuff to help him. I'm mailing him a passport wallet that he can wear around his neck. It will have his travel documents, the navagating the cancun airport guide, his flight info, maps to san antonio airport, etc. But, I've never been to the SA airport. Is it pretty easy to navagate? how do you know what terminal to go to? He is flying either Ryan Air or I think they have been replaced by AeroMexico. How is parking? Is it hard to get a close spot? Is there an option for valet parking? Or someplace you can park & get bused to the door? When you get to Cancun, is the airport wheelchair friendly? I wish someone else was on his flight, but no one is. It's a non-stop so atleast that helps.

Each time I'd call them the next day & let them know it's still not working. So it's not like I waited a long time. I figured I was just SOL for the $250. I'm not sure if I'll get it fixed. $250 was more than I wanted to spend in the first place. I replaced the motor a few years ago & that was $150. So that's already $400 for one window. I've spend about $100 on the other. If I spend another $250 getting the one fixed (if they can even fix it) another part can always break. I personally would just rather have hand crank windows & not have to deal with all of this. This place I took it only does windows. So I don't know that anyone else could figure it out if they can't.

If You Are Using U2's "Beautiful Day"

This was considered the original "Beautiful Day", but I'm really not a big fan of this song (Window in the Sky that is). Anyhoo, I'll quietly go back to my corner of the forum and be good now Sorcha It's just so it starts on "it's a beautiful day" right after you get announced. Only a small part of the song can play as you walk down the asile. If it was the musical intro it wouldn't have the same effect. Hopefully that makes it better to a hard core U2 fan. -

In my 99 Accord during the cold weather I could not lock the doors... one time I spent 30 minutes in a downtown Philadelphia parking garage trying to lock the doors... Long story short, but I had to crawl out of the trunk......ahahaha! But that was better than taking the chance of my car being stolen or broken into! But I would go the Honda dealership if I were you... Good luck! I went to the honda place with my other window. They broke my speaker & scratched up my window tint.

Maybe they will be kind and offer to look at it again at no cost but a refund is highly unlikely. I could totally be wrong but that's my non-legal/non-mechanical assessment...good luck! It's never worked. I took it in around August 2007. They replaced something but it was worse than before I took it in. I had a 90 day warranty. So I took it back & they said it worked for them. But, it's something that happens every other day or so. The next day it was doing the exact same thing. So I took it in one more time & they said they couldn't figure out what was wrong. So they never fixed it in the first place. Do I just let it go? I took it in twice during the 90 days. It's not like they fixed it in July & then it broke again. It has never worked.

BUYER BEWARE..... (Etsy purchase gone BAD!!!)
rodent replied to Dbld78's topic in Just venting or funnies
Does she have an etsy username? If so, it would be nice to remove her last name. If someone googles her name they will find these letters & all this personal info. I know she emailed it to you, but probably didn't think it would end up on the internet. -
I love DC. But, we only go there on weekends. Now that we live about 4 hours from DC, people fly up to see us & we drive there for the weekend. So much to do & it's all free

Courtney you were brave doing the hand ceremony first. I put mine close to the end so I'm not crying the whole time.
