rodent replied to Marnie&Peter's topic in Destination Weddings in Jamaica
If you have your pictures as files (on a cd or dvd) you can make this yourself using photostory or moviemaker. -

Sarah's Wedding Stuff PICS GALORE!!!
rodent replied to Saraha's topic in Destination Wedding Planning Journal
I love it all! When we were going to have a bridal party we talked about doing the same thing; multi-colored dresses with the guy's tie matching. Can't wait to see the pictures! -

(im assuming he has his own manual power wheelchair?) if he has a battery operatied wheelchair or scooter, he can take care of himself, but you should still let the airline know he needs aislechair assistance on the aircraft (if he can't or really has trouble walking or being mobile himself), also that he has this type of his own mobility device (again im assuming he has his own mobility device and wont be needing to borrow one at the airports.) once he arrives at his gate after going thru security, tell him to let the agent know he needs early boarding so they are aware he is there and ready to go, and also to double check that he will have wheelchair assistance waiting for him upon arrival in cancun. after that, it's up to the airline agents to make sure he gets priority boarding and settled on the plane. oh yeah, dont forget to tell him if he does want early boarding to get food and or use the restroom prior to the early boarding time to ensure he is at the gate ready to go when the agents are best able to assist him. hope that helps, let me know if you have any more Q! thanks! it's great to have an expert around It's on his funjet e-ticket that he needs wheelchair assistance. He will be taking his own manual wheelchair. Should he also call ahead? Or should it be taken care of now that it's on the ticket?

Looking for multi-colored glasses
rodent replied to rodent's topic in Wedding Registry, Wedding Gift Bags, and OOT bags
granite highball collection - di Sciacca I bought these except I bought them through sam's club. They were $5 each shipped. I got four of each color. Potterybarn does sell their glasses individually at the store, just not online. They are $10 each which is more than I wanted to spend. Thanks everyone for the help. I'll take a picture of these next to my fiestaware so you can see the tackiness in all of it's glory. I found a shop in cabo that sells the cobalt rimmed glasses. They are lead-free. There are probably places in PDC that guarantee them to be lead free. I just didn't see anything online. But, I really liked these & the price was great so I just did it. Sam's club stuff goes out of stock often. -

He has to make sure to stay on the left lane cuz he'll need to get back on to 410 then exiting immediately at the Airport exit. Majority of the airlines use Terminal 1, I think Aeromexico should be there too. Terminal 2 is the smaller one and only three airlines use them, one being Air Mexican. But double check with the airport just to be sure. We usually park at the Economy parking lot, that's $5 a day. But I am not sure if the shuttle is wheel chair accessible or not (probably not, I remember one time watching a lady trying to get a stroller up and a gentleman had to help her to lift the stroller up). There is long term parking across from the terminals but some walking is required. Have you found any hotels that will let you leave the car there? How long will he be leaving the truck? Thanks for the info. I got him a room at a hotel by the airport. They will drive him to the terminal & pick him up. He can also leave his truck there. And it was only $70 a night. I think it will be worth it so he can relax. Otherwise he'd be leaving his house before 4am. I mapquested the directions & it's a breeze. There were two options 37 (281) right through SA or the 410 loop. Both are about the same distance. Which would you suggest? I'm not sure the time of day he'd be going.

Great review. I can't get over all the people in the back of the mexican limo. The craziest vehicle I've ridden on was on a natural reserve in texas. It was a trailer with picnic tables bolted to it & a canopy. it was pulled by a truck. The hidden worlds mobile has that beat. Sounds like you really treated your guests to a fun, memorable day. We are doing our group trip the day before the wedding because most of our guests are only staying 3 nights. I hope it doesn't wear us out.

my meet the guests brochures came in yesterday. I'm a little dissapointed that the text by each person's picture was hard to read. But, I'm not redoing them. You can find more info about all this stuff on my planning thread (linked in siggy). This was something I emailed guests as a pdf when i wanted RSVPs for the friday morning trips. The pdf is on planning thread. By morganleigh03 By morganleigh03 By morganleigh03 By morganleigh03

How to spend gifts of money?
rodent replied to AmandaR's topic in Wedding Registry, Wedding Gift Bags, and OOT bags
I would do both. Put some towards student loans & some into the house. Our registry is full of stuff for the apartment so we won't use our gift money for house things. I'm putting it in a high yield savings account for a down payment on a house once we are settled somewhere. If we had debt from the wedding I'd first pay that off. -

There will be an empty bag after we give out our OOT bags & palm fans. I can fill it with glasses & necklaces. -

Last time I was in cancun there was a mall across from our hotel. I'd walk over there occasionally with a full beer & buy junk. -

I've looked at some of the photo book sites but they don't allow me the ability to do the things I want with designing it. Keep the info coming!!! for photobooks I'd say definitly get lumapix (if you have a PC). It's great for making books.

just so you know picture.com is a little scammy. they will try to sell you a lot of stuff with your picture. even a medalion with your picture on it.

these are at BB&B. You can buy them 4 at a time. The colors are not as bold as I'd like. The glasses are also only 8oz. By morganleigh03
