I'm actually in this PBS special, too -- this show was taped mainly at the Columbus, OH show in August 2006. I was judging at the show that day, so unforunately, I wound up being filmed some. One of my breeders and good friends was featured in this show, too -- Vickie McKimmey, one of the two top ferret breeders in the U.S. Good stuff, guys -- keep it coming! Ha Ha! I'm learning so much about the world of ferrets. What happens in a ferret show? Are the judged like a dog show? Or do they compete like an agility competition? I'm picturing lots of tubes.

  11. I sent mine to everyone. I figured it's better to error on the side of sending it to someone who ouldn't go than to leave out someone who would feel left out. Even with all the un-vitations I sent out, I still missed people (people my mom thinks I should have sent something to). I don't want to send those people an invitation a month prior so I decided to do announcements afterwards. I'm making vistaprint postcards with a collage of wedding pics & a link to where they can see our pictures & videos.
  12. i love the idea of an excursion. we arent doing gifts. we've spent enough this year. i'll probably make him a card to read the morning of our wedding. and then treat us to a couples message.

  15. I just put together a collage of what I like to print & show my hairdresser.

I'm putting a note on them to make sure my guests know not to use them at the airport. I wanted combo locks so no one had to worry about losing their key. I set them all to the same combo. People can change it if they want. But, if they forget their code, someone else can tell them.
  17. I read it wasn't actually filmed in mexico. Someone said it was supposed to resemble Pamilla in Cabo. None of my souces are very good. Just stuff I found when I googled.

  20. his email address is on my OOT bag thread. I'll see if I can find it.
  21. Email the guy directly & he'll sell them to you for what I paid. maybe even less because he won't have to pay ebay fees.

  23. Overstock.com has cheap titanium & tungsten rings. More than silverdepot, but still very good prices.
  24. Wow I wish we had those laws in the US. I work at a university medical center & they recently made it so that no one can smoke at the medical center. But campus is right across the street. So I still have to pass a cloud of smoke getting to work, but it's so nice to not have to walk past the smokers in the doorway of my building. I don't think smokers realize how much it bothers people. Especially when they are surrounding the doorway so there is no way to avoid them.
