    I think ours will be pretty gender neutral as well. But if you are looking for specific guy things they certainly like their gadgets.. or food/alcohol. Maybe disposable cameras or something? Underwater camera? Snorkel, goggles?

    I will probably be one of those people who calls or reminds with emails about deadlines approaching.. condo bookings and flight info etc. However, we aren't inviting a huge amount of people so hopefully that keeps MIA's to a minimum.

    Remember it's your wedding and you can do what you want. Do you have a best friend who could stand up for you? To match your FI's best man? Otherwise just say what cheese diva said.. you aren't having anyone stand up for you.

    We picked november of next year because we wanted to give our family/friends enough time to save money for the trip. Plus our wedding planner says that Maui in november is just LOVELY and not quite as hot as july which was our first idea..

    I can't help you because I'm having the same problem! Maybe there is someone in the US that you could send the bags you like to them? Here on the BC/Washington border there are a number of places just inside Washington where us canadians can get our US mail/packages sent to and they only charge a small fee. Maybe something similar in ONT?

    I say wait until you have date and location booked. I'm also getting married in Hawaii next november and I will be sending out our STD's in the next couple of weeks.
