  4. Yes, we have nice border guards like that too. There is one dress I really like at Davids and with our dollar being so good now I'm really tempted to go shopping in the states Just figured if I'm going to David's maybe there should be other places I'm checking out as well!
  5. Hello ladies! I have seen alot of posts about you guys going to David's Bridal. We don't have them here in Canada but there is 7 of them just across the border into Washington. I'm thinking of going there to check them out because they seem so popular. Are there any other places I should go to as well? Another popular US chain? Also, for the canadian girls that did buy a dress at David's (or anywhere else in the USA) did you pay the full duties on the dress? Or have problems at the border in general? Thanks

  17. I'm not sure what is "normal" either. So far with our photographer we've got 6 hours of shoot time, including pre-wedding prep, ceremony, group/romantic shots and reception. In our package it also includes this awesome photo book where the "best" pics get put in and a proof book. I also wanted a cd with every shot put on there but that is extra. Me and my FI agreed that we wanted the photography to be fantabulous and are willing to pay the money. It's probably one of our biggest expenses but after seeing our photographers' work we know it will be money well spent.
  18. Which thread is that in Holy cow that is so unbelievably rude!! I cannot believe someone would put that on their website.. I would buy a gift if I was close to that person but unable to attend. I didn't attend, and I didn't send a gift because I felt like I was just another invite for a gift! Otherwise, If I've spoken to the person ...recently, then of course!
