This was such a fun thread to read. I am definitely up for the Boudoir Pics for him and I love the socks gift. Chris loves the Dallas Cowboys. I know we havent won in a very long time but...he has been overseas for 5 years and he cant wait to come watch some ball. I read somewhere on here about the tipping for your coordinator. I realize they probably have that included in their service. Just wondered if you did give extra what percentage did you give? I couldnt find a thread to give me that type of answer. So did you or didnt you do this for your coordinator brides? FOR THE ONES WORKING FOR US!!!

Welcome...we're Newbies as well. January 5, 08 for us. This site is GREAT although time consuming to go through and read all that it has to offer. It has been so informative and helpful. Hi Katie, I got mine in Dallas at a design store. But I found a site for you to see and the one I have is on here and others for you to see. I have found that a lot if not all the info I have gotten from the forum has enabled me to purchase some items and they all arrived and were great from online shopping. Place Card Holders I got hand fans and parasols online as well. The parasols are for decor around the beach not for the actually ceremony. Japanese Kimonos, Chinese Paper Lanterns, Chopsticks, Chinese Dresses I'll keep you posted if I see anything else since Im there about 2 wks before your wedding. So exicted!!!

Great Info from everyone. The flowers really are gorgeous in everyone's bouquet. I'm going to use white roses and white lilies. We're putting seashells and light blue pearls w/ some natural twigs in there. But it will be mostly white. The bridemaids will be in a variety of colors using a combination of color. I'm still working on that one. We've decided to put them on the table as part of the decor once the ceremony is over. Since there are total of 10 women and myself. I think Im having enough flowers hahahaha

Hi, The girls are working on the Bachelorette Party and would love some help on places to go. We love to have a great fun time dancing and drinking but not like we were Freshman in College but sort of We're all in our late 20's so any ideas on a fun silly night out in Puerto Vallarta. We first are meeting at the Westin Hotel for a shower party then off to the clubs via taxi. Would love to know what you did! We are meeting us with our men around 10:30pm to enjoy being with them at the end of the evening. Oh sorry thats just the beginning of the evening.

Loved the pics. Of course Im just about a year out in seeing this thread but I liked the perspective pics from other angles that helps in deciding some things. Through all the pics Ive seen and threads read it appears Nicole and staff really have this wedding planning under control. I love it! We get to work with her as we get a little closer although she has been awesome at answering all of our 1,000 questions. We are excited to meet her. Our wedding is Jan 5 and I was wondering about weather. You answered with the humidity in the spa room so that's great to know. We have 10 women 11 counting me in our wedding. Long story about that but we will be a large group. Definitely need to assign times to go in and out of there. Everyone is pretty easy going should this should be like Camp hahaha Your cake looked great. We want something a little different and Nicole says she can make it happen. I love that it appears we hand over the products we bring from home and hand them to her and staff and they work their magic. So excited for that as well. The men are staying in PV and coming over with the later boat while we women are coming earlier to hang out and get dressed. Did the candles on the dance floor cause any fire issues? I keep looking at them thinking drunk dancers hahaha Congratulations on the baby and the wedding. All so beautiful. Cant wait to show ours and one day our baby

Hi, We are getting married in January. First off has anyone gotten married during that month in Puerto Vallarta? Secondly, we are wondering about the resort and the bars, restaurants, activities the hotel offers. We are scheduled to have a 1 hr cocktail party at Panchos Bar at the Riu J does anyone remember that bar? We are going to a lingerie party at the Westin and wondered how far it might be from the Riu Jalisco. Last part of this: Some advice was not to use our CC for drinks at the bars instead pesos because of over charging. Did anyone have that experience? Our wedding is in Las Caletas but our trip is at the Riu. Thank you for any advice or comments on this. Cant wait to get there!!!

We have a cake in mind with butter cream icing. Has anyone requested this type of icing for their Las Caletas wedding? Second part to this: I am requesting Italian Wedding Cake and butter cream icing. Ha is this going to be a dream for me or did any of the brides also request a special cake? Nicole said we could do this for extra charge but wondering if one of you did this was it to your liking? Guests: 100 - 150 for us.

How was the golf. We are looking at El Tigre for some of the men who do golf on Saturday morning before heading to the pier. (and if our pic is huge Im so sorry trying to figure out how to get that smaller. The pics and I are having issues hahaha
