  1. Thanks for your input ladies! I have sent another email off to Sandra & Landy to see if there are any other weddings booked that day - it seems that Landy is the only one who responds to my emails though....... I'm ok with waiting to choose locations as I understand that I could change my mind once I see everything. I do sort of have my heart set on the Seaside Grill though as I like the idea of an outside reception. What's everyone doing after their dinner?? I'm thinking of either wandering over to the disco or the Friday night beach party. We only have 18 guests booked and I don't imagine there'll be too many more booking so dancing would be a little weird for me at the reception (although I do plan on doing the first dance at the reception).
  2. Hello Dreams Tulum Brides/Grooms I'm getting married there on November 23rd, 2007. I have a few questions that I'm hoping you can help out with........ 1. Are you/did you book your reception & ceremony sites before hand?? I sent a request for info on my options and was advised that I should wait until I get there to choose. This wouldn't be an issue if they only did one wedding per day but............ I'm just concerned that whatever I choose will already be booked by another bride. 2. How long would you estimate the walk down the aisle to be?? I'm trying to choose my music & I don't want to pick songs that are too long/short. - on that note, what did you/are you planning on having music for?? I plan on doing a processional, recessional and first dance but I'm wondering if there's any need to have music for the signing of docs/cocktail hour etc. 3. Not really a question but any other info/tips you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!
  3. Yazmin - thanks for the clarification! Babycow - glad to help! I've been engaged since Jan/06 so I've had lots of time to research!

If you check under the Q&A section, theres a section on just weddings. Someone on there posted this slideshow of the Tulum wedding set-ups. It's the same pics that the wedding co-ordinators send me in Word format. The slideshow is pretty basic but it gives you the info you need...... DREAMS Weddings....
  6. I don't know if anyone is still having troubles reaching the wedding co-ordinator at the resort but just in case......... My TA stepped in & was finally able to reach someone named Landy who I'm told is Sandra's assistant. I still don't know what happened to Sandra but I've been able to converse with Landy through this email address: [email protected] I've been getting responses usually within 1 week's time. Oh & BTW - New to this board & getting married at Dreams Tulum November 23, 2007!!
