Do you think $1200 is a good price for 75 professional invites, with all those extras? Apparently the Thank You cards are free right now too - it's a special promotion going on.

I always thought invites would be expensive so I gave myself a budget of $1000 for them. Yes, I know that's a lot of $$$!!! Well, I got a quote today for $1200 for 75 invites. That does however include calligraphy hand written on the outer and inner envelopes, an extra RSVP card for hotel/flight info and an extra Reception card for the Welcome Dinner. This also includes menu cards and thank you cards. But after seeing what everyone else paid, I think I'm going to be sick. I wish I was good at DIY projects. Any bored ladies out there looking for a side gig in invitation making?

I was kind of in a jam and needed to order and get them out ASAP because our resort fills up so quickly and there are a few wedding the same week as mine. I spent a couple of hours looking on line and got so fed up that I said screw it and just went with the ones I thought looked nice, could fit all of our travel info on them, and were easiest to order online. I would not do this again though. Where did you order them from? Do you still have the website info? Are you making them yourself?

Valerie Are these professionally printed invitations? How many did you order? Where did you get them from? Thanks for your help.

Just make sure you do your research so you're prepared to handle anything that's thrown at you.

I want these shoes!!!
NYJen replied to boscobel's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
Ok, maybe I shouldn't say this but have you thought about buying them, using them for the wedding (being really careful not to scuff them up) and then return them. Oh wait, that's not legal, nevermind. I guess I meant you could then sell them on ebay afterwards, yeah - that's what I meant. LOL!!! -
My Pictures!!!

WOW - I really was on the low side. (Don't worry though, I made up for it last night - ooops!!!) Anyway, it says I should be at 1520 for intense fat loss. I can TOTALLY stick to that. Thanks again for your help ladies. I am back on track today.

It's beautiful paper but I'm concerned that with the dark coloring and the design, you wouldn't be able to read the wording too well. Is your plan to print right on this sheet or to add some kind of other paper on top of it? Maybe you can make a sample first to see if it works and to see how much you like it before spending the money on all the paper. I would love to see how you make an invite out of this. Please post pics.

That's great - meet-ups are so fun!!! What great pics too - glad you posted them. And your food looks good too (in that last pic.) Sorry, I'm dieting so I'm hungry. Maybe I should come to Canada too for a meet-up so we could go out to eat. LOL!!! -

We're actually going to be in Cabo for 16 days for the wedding and honeymoon. We're taking a few extra days off before and after as well so we'll have some time at home. We originally wanted to go to Tahiti for our honeymoon right after the wedding but we knew the trip would be rushed. We also knew that after 6 days in Cabo getting ready for the wedding, the wedding itself and all the other events we have planned, we would be exhausted. We didn't want to have to hurry up and pack, travel across the world and then move around from island to island when we just want to relax. So we decided to wait and go to Tahiti for our 1st anniversary so that we could stay in Cabo and relax right after the wedding. I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am about it. We got a Premiere Suite at the Hilton for the full 16 days, plus we upgraded our flight to First Class on the way down (it's not available on the way home.) But get this, we're in row 1 on the way down - I've never been in row 1 on a plane in my life. Is it ridiculous that I'm this excited about it?

I thought it was a Lazaro - the beading reminds me so much of Ann's dress. I LOVE it!!! And you look absolutely STUNNING in it. Just wait until your hair and makeup are done - WOW!!! I can't wait to see the pictures. -
