Welcome!!! What part of Long Island are you from? I'm from Astoria, Queens. My FI is originally from Port Washington.

I agree with the ladies on here. Take his last name. It really doesn't rhyme that much anyway. And BTW - I LOVE the name Jacquelyn.

I'm actually getting my mom something because even though she's not paying for the wedding, she's given me so much help and support. Me, my sisters and my mom are very close, so I decided that since I'm getting both my sisters the starfish necklace from Tiffany's as their MOH gifts, I'm going to get the same one for me and my mom too. This way the 4 of us will have matching necklaces. And of course, I'm getting the kiddie looking one for my niece/flowergirl Gretchen.

Wow - I can't believe that after 9 years, Brendan and I don't have one pic of us holding hands. I definitely don't have a digital picture, maybe a printed one at home (from before the days of digital cameras.) I'll have to check. Great idea though Ladies!!!

I love everyone's pictures. So cute.

OMG!!! Are you ok? I don't know how I missed this thread!!! I'm glad to hear you're ok, but did you get yourself checked out You may feel fine now, but sometimes it takes a few days til you start feeling the pain (neck, back, etc.) You may want to go to your doctor just to make sure. I hope Brandy is feeling better today. Those things can be so traumatic for little doggies. She may not want to go in the car again. Poor baby!!!

That's not funny - it's stupid. If that was real, I feel so bad for that girl.

That's HYSTERICAL!!!!

Ok, first of all, you're being WAY TOO tough on these pics - THEY'RE GORGEOUS!!!! You look ABSOLUTELY STUNNING and WOW - what a beautiful day you had. Stop saying you didn't like the pics - I LOVE them!!! I don't know if I can find a favorite. The close ups of you and Eric (separatly) are just breathtaking. I wish I looked that good close up - (yuck!!!) -
That's AWESOME!!!! Keep up the good work!!! YOU CAN DO IT!!!!

Happy Birthday!!! How's that manicure holding up?

I'm actually having my bonfire and s'mores station (at the Hilton) after our wedding reception. I'm sure most people will still be stuffed from dinner but I liked the idea of having it there in case anyone is looking for a snack.

If I didn't need/want to get my invites out in December, I would totally drive to MD every weekend to work with you on these. We could break out the glue gun and a bottle of wine and go to town making those crystal starfish. LOL!!! Seriously though, I need to buckle down and figure out which invites I'm going to do. There are so many good ideas out there, I need to make a decision and just stick with it. Thanks for your help and opinions ladies. This is very helpful.
