OMG, it's going to be the cutest!!!! Let me think.

Maybe you can call both the HR person and your boss into a meeting and let them know (in a nice way) that you think they are being unfair and you just want to give them a heads up that you plan on contacting a lawyer about your rights. Maybe they'll change their tune before this has to go any further. You never know.

From what I've heard, the Jr. Suite isn't much bigger than the standard room. I think the next "real" bigger room is the Premiere Suite (which is a one bedroom suite.)

I'd have to take the subway to a bus station and transfer twice to get to work - and I only work 15 miles from home. So I just drive my car like everyone else here....so sad Since my stop is the second stop on that particular subway line, I always get a seat. My ride is only 20 minutes and since I leave kind of early, it's never crowded. But there are days when I'm coming home that the trains are just PACKED. That usually means that the next train will be a lot less crowded but people still ram themselves in - morons!!! I never do that, I'm so spoiled. I'll just wait for the next train. I can't believe I'm the only one that gave up my seat today for that lady. I was sooo pissed. One time, I gave up my seat for a pregnant woman and then a guy got up and gave me his seat because I did that.

Daily Health Challenge (Spark, WW, everyone!)
NYJen replied to gkashmira's topic in Beauty, Exercise, Diet
Did my leg lifts last night and 50 lunges (25 each leg) from TammyB's daily challenge the other day. I've been watching my calories very carefully and I'm 10 days Diet Coke free. I do feel less bloated. But the scale isn't really moving. Since losing those 8 pounds on Nutrisystem I've been consistantly going up and down 2 pounds. As of this morning, I'm officially back to the 8 pound loss. Nothing additional. But I feel like my clothes fit better and I do feel healthier. So somethings happening. I had a busy week so I only used my treadmill twice, but I do plan on using it at least 5 times this coming week. Brendan and I are going to Benihana tonight so I need to be really careful with what I choose for dinner. All that soy sauce really bloats you. -
To the 4 lazy men sitting next to me on the subway this morning, When you see a pregnant woman get on the subway, you get your fat, lazy A$$ up and you give it to her!!! Stop pretending you don't see her and just do it. You IDOITS!!!! Why is it that only other women give up their seats for pregnant women Oh, and to the man who cut me off and took that other seat once it became available - YES, I purposely positioned my wet umbrella to drip on you after you did that to me. And YES, I was waiting for you to ask me to move it so I could yell at you and tell you why I put it there. Morons!!!!

Yup, I read it last week and that's exactly what I thought. The book does have some good health points, but I don't agree that being a vegan is the only way to be healthy (hence skinny.) But it's a good/fun read. I posted this on another thread - just be carefully, there's a whole chapter dedicated to the graphic details of what goes on in some slaughterhouses. That may be too much for some of you to read, just skip that chapter.

I did WW back in 2002/2003. I just did the Home version (where you buy the books online and do it yourself without meetings.) I ended up losing about 40 pounds in 6 months. I still have the books and try to do it from time to time. However, mostly these days I pay more attention to calories rather than points. Here's a great "recipe" for a low point grilled cheese sandwich. 2 slices of Wonder light Italian bread = 1 point 2 slices of Kraft 2% American cheese = 2 points 6 slices of Hillshire Farms packaged ham = 1 point Grill it with Pam = 0 points And if you want, you can add 32 Oreida fast food fries for another 4 points. Ketchup is 0 points. That's an 8 point meal. Not bad!!!

Ok --- Here's the dress!
NYJen replied to coreyphil's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
Wow, that dress looks very similar to mine (also a Pronovias.) Only mine has a slight sweetheart neckline and the flower is a bit smaller and on the other side. (So, needless to say, I think the dress is gorgeous!!!) I'm not wearing a veil so I'm leaving the flower on my dress. I think it gives it a more beachy feel to it. I also plan to put a simple flower in my hair to compliment the dress and that's it. Isn't it great how light that dress is I love that I can put it on by myself and I'll actually be able to go the bathroom without four other people having to hold it up for me while I go. LOL!!! -

Daily Health Challenge (Spark, WW, everyone!)
NYJen replied to gkashmira's topic in Beauty, Exercise, Diet
WOW Jill, good work!!! I'm babysitting an infant tonight, so I plan to do my leg lifts while little Stewart is getting in his tummy time. I didn't get a chance to do TammyB's lunges last night so I'll do those tonight as well as any other exercise she posts today. Come on ladies, keep up the good work. We're all doing sooo well!!!! -
Bought the dress!!!
NYJen replied to lovefreddy's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
Wow - what a pretty dress. And yes, good call on removing the bows. It will look sooooo much better. -
Um, hello - it's YOUR wedding. You're being VERY nice by letting them pick the dress. The least they can do is follow your guidelines. Good God, what's with people sometimes. Sorry you have to deal with this.

What did you say to me when I was upset the scale wasn't moving? You said to keep at it and it will move. Remember?? You may be gaining muscle - which will help you in the long run. So hang in there. Keep doing what you're doing and you WILL see results. Sometimes it just takes a little longer. Besides, you have 21 more days this month to take off the other 4.5 pounds you want to lose. That's a good pace. Now keep going!!!
