Ok, here's my 2 cents and honestly, I think it will mean a lot coming from me. When I read your first thread, my inital reaction was "Oh DEFINITELY, YES have them re-done!!!" If my colors were off, I would DEFINITELY spend the money to get them right. I know, I'm just as crazy as you. HOWEVER, after seeing the pics of your bags, I retract that statement. I know those colors aren't exact, but they are definitely in the same family and honestly, that's all that matters. If you had yellow and purple - hell YES, get new ones. But here, they look FANTASTIC!!! Not to mention, NO ONE is going to hold up your bag against the other items in you wedding to make sure that the colors match. The colors are SOOOO close, really. They're beautiful. Check this off your To-Do list and move on to the next project. Ok?

My computer crashed 2 weeks ago so I've been sooooo out of the loop here. I only signed on a couple of times these past 2 weeks from my new job (I really didn't want to be on BDW there.) So, we somewhat fixed our computer but will get a Mac when we get back from our honeymoon - we have too many other things to get done right now. No time to research the Mac. So, I just wanted to say hi and let you know I'll try to check all the threads I missed. Couple of new things on my end: 1. Got my album from Sarah and it looks FANTASTIC!!! Even the presentation when it arrived was beautiful. I can't wait to order more books from her. 2. I bought a new camera. The Nikon D40X and then I upgraded to the 18-200mm lens. Very exciting. Hopefully I'll have some time this coming weekend to take some pics of all my wedding stuff before we leave and I can post it. If not, I'll definitely post it when we get back. Not much else is new here. Just been finalizing all the last minute details and getting myself organized. I hope all has been well with all of you.

Sorry I've been out of the loop - my home computer crashed and I really don't want to logon to BDW from my new job. But I needed to get on here for a little bit. Ok, I saw that Jenn is free the 12th, but I'll still be in Cabo then (not returning from our honeymoon until the 16th.) I can definitely do the 20th and that's what I voted for.

I've always been curious as to why ANYONE would think they have a say in someone else's wedding planing?? I'm so confused by this. I'm sorry, who's wedding is it Tell her that this is the wedding you're doing and you're not sure why she thinks she has a say in it. If she doesn't want to come, you're very sorry but you respect her decision and if she wants, you can show her the pictures when you get them back. Just stay calm and cool - don't let her bully you into anything.

Some of you know that I don't want a bridal shower - it's just not me. I'm just not the type to sit there and open gifts in front of people. And for me, after going to 100's of them for other people (bridal and baby) it just sucks!!! So, as a joke, my CRAZY girlfriends from college got together and just sent me "The Tackiest Bridal Shower in-a-box." They sent me everything I would hate and wrapped every single gift. They also included the traditional paper plate hat filled with bows and ribbons - good grief!!! They did however also send me a very generous gift card to Williams Sonoma too (the real gift.) Which was very sweet and unnecessary. Below are some pics of the items. Yes, there is a green glass frog, chia pet, clothes pins and sex toys including a penis straw. I'm glad that it sounds now like the problem is resolved. But it still pisses me off when vendors don't share the same sense of urgency as the brides. FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, if a vendor chooses to be in the wedding business, they better get it right. Brides only get one chance to do this - so it MUST be PERFECT. Sorry I don't live closer to you, I would have kicked her ass for you.
