Hey Carrie - not to be a pooper but are you sure you can have your feast at Le Gourmet? (Just wondering cause we weren't given the option of having it a gourmet - but if you do, that's awesome cause that restaurant is great!)

Here's a picture of our setup: Not sure if your resort has this option, and I didn't think I'd like it, but after seeing it in person, I really like how the palapas frame the setup.

jennyFTB - The dress is Alfred Sung (I bought it third hand off another bride...) jean-marcus - I do love Tulum (and the pueblo too!!!) haaha. Can't wait to go back!! nylalany - We got the shirts and pants from Le Chateau (I think we got it from the outlet). We got them at a really good price too - just under $300 for both shirts and both pairs of pants! BarefootBride - I loooove Birds of paradise, they just pop!! Thank you eveyone!!!! We had an awesome day (and there were a few hitches... but nothing really bad enough to comment on) and an awesome photographer, I love her, haha!

Thanks for all the wonderful comments!!! lyrebard - the vials are bubbles that we made. On the sticker we printed "Blow bubbles of well wishes for the new Mr. & Mrs." Super easy!! But if you get the vials, I suggest taking the bubble fluid out while they're on the plane and putting it back in once you get there (we did this) - good thing cause a few of them popped open!

We had the renewal of vows... honestly, the only thing different (besides it being legal) is not having to get bloodwork done, and not signing any papers right after the ceremony. I don't think our guests even noticed. Everyone is so caught up in the moment, that you don't even think about it. But just to clairfy... I do know a few people (and met some others while we were there) that did do the legal ceremony there - the bloodwork is nothing to freak out about, honestly! We just chose the renewal so that we would have our certificate asap with no hassels. msareny - that is unlike Jazmin... but don't worry too much yet! I'm sure she'll get back to you. We also changed a whole bunch of things without any problem, so I'm sure it'll be fine.

Thanks lucy106- I love your puppies!!! We have a pug - but I still want a bulldog nenamono - You;ll love Citlalli - she is such a sweet person. She was great to work with - we basically brought nothing... I mean NOTHING, we had no idea what we wanted - and this is what we got. We were very comfortable with her (and we both take some pretty bad pics, haha). Betsy - I wasn't hot at all, we had a nice breeze coming in so I think that might've helped. I did get hot at the disco, but I think that was the dress not the hair. The only issue I had was trying to keep my hair our of my face for pictures - but it was fun!

The linens in the restaurants are white. (I think they are in all of them - they are white for sure in the Tequila). msareny - Don't worry!! Seriously... everything is so wonderful once you're there, you won't be disappointed. We did the renewal of vows... I don't know if anyone knew or not - but no one asked us about it. I'm glad we did it that way - it was so much easier for us.

You're quick, haha! We are going to go with the flat card. So how do I overlay I know how to make layers but how do I add that picture to the layer?? Thanks a bunch! I'll email you the picture when I get home!

I'm planning on making our AHR invitations using a picture from our wedding as the entire background. I wanted to design them myself and then upload them to vistaprint. I am not very handy with photoshop but I'd like to use it (cause that's what I have) but I have a few questions.... 1. Can I make a template in Photoshop and then insert a picture If so, how?? 2. How do I resize the picture so I don't lose the quality of the pic (or DPI I guess)? 3. Is there any way to make ruler lines (guidelines for myself so I don't put any text past the printing edge)? 4. Anyone have ideas on how to spruce up this picture so the colors are super vibrant? (this picture is compressed - I have the original at home) Our plan is to have our wording right aligned on the right side of the invite. Thanks!

Thanks ladies - your invites and STDs are awesome!! I think I'm going to attempt making mine in Photoshop and then printing with Vistaprint. Wish me luck, haha!

We were thinking about having one of our wedding pics on the invation for the AHR (the picture being the background with writing on the side or with a vellum overlay - not too sure). Just wondering what you think And if you have any ideas or inspiration pics - please post em.... Thanks!!

Sarah - just saw that you're getting married in November - I just wanted to let you know (and to calm your nerves) that Jazmin didn't really hop on our plans until about three months before... Oh, and I just got an email back from Citlalli - we should be getting our pictures today or tomorrow!!!!! Can't wait!!!!

Really sorry that you girls are having troubles with Yuritza... Jazmin was usually pretty good about getting back to me. If you girls are getting married on (or staying at) the Akumal side, I'm pretty sure there's nothing Jazmin can do but here's her email address just in case: [email protected] Sarah - I think the set menu means you have to pick the same thing for everyone. So eveyone has to have the chicken, or the fish, or the steak, etc. You can't have one chicken, three fish and five steaks... I hope that makes sense.
