  1. Hello Brides! Dear Sally, Barcelo does have a Catholic Chapel on site. The Church is very well organized all over the world so the process will not be that difficult, you just have to arrange all the paperwork with enough time. For all of your questions here is the contact of the main office for all the chapels in Playa del Carmen and Riviera Maya area: Parroquia de Nuestra Señora del Carmen 15 Avenida / Calle 12 Norte y 12 Norte Bis s/n Colonia Centro, Playa del Carmen Quintana Roo, México C.P. 77710 +52 (984) 87-30-188 www.iglesiadelcarmen.org.mx email: [email protected] Happy planning!
  2. Hi Heather, I understand your point. For most of our clients, privacy is a MUST so since we also do our own catering and decor, we know most of the private locations in the area BUT I am happy to inform you that there are still a very few AI hotels that offer enough privacy for weddings in the area. I have sent you a PM. Happy planning!
  3. MrsShoreytobe, I am so happy to hear that things have cleared up and that you are getting started with your agent and photographers! Good luck and enjoy all the planning process!
  4. Hello Mrs. Shoreytore, Well, if a DW could be cheaper it will only be because not all your guests will be attending, that will be the only reason because in Mexico (some items can be much expensive because we are in a touristic area). If your friend got married in the Mayan Palace (time share and or european hotel) definitely was much expensive than if you get married in an all inclusive resort because AI offers very affordable wedding packages if all your wedding party stays in their hotels. In order to keep the costs down-low for a DW in an all inclusive wedding you should consider that all your guests should be staying at the same resort. Otherwise your budget could go up and you will realize it, only a couple of months-days prior your wedding date. For that reason you have to read very carefully the contracts and policies of the hotels you are considering. If you choose the right hotel and get all your guests into the same resort, you can have a beautiful wedding at a very low price so you can use the rest of your budget in items that can upgrade your wedding such fireworks, decor, flowers, music, lighting, etc. Happy planning!

  6. Hi Darcy, For 15 mins of ceremony I will suggest to play only 3-4 songs. You can ask the wc to play the complete song or to slowly cut it as soon as the Minister starts to speak. 1. For the bridal party 2. For the Bride entrance 3. During signatures (if there are some) 4. A the end. If ceremony is held on the beach you can play informal music or if you want to make the ceremony more formal you can play classical music. Happy planning!

  8. Hi Michelle, If you are looking for an all inclusive private enough for your ceremony you can try the Hacienda Tres Rios, otherwise a beach club outside from Playa del Carmen like the Grand Coral. Happy planning!
