My sister lives there and she said the schools are closed for now. Any new developments? I hope everyone is staying flu free down there! Your cake looks amazing and yumy... I am still craving for cake LOL and you are right I live in Monterrey, we don't have any confirmed flu cases yet but the number of people with sympthoms is increasing Schools are closed since Monday until May 6th and I was hearing on the news 5 min ago that authorities are planning to send everybody home and work from there too, but I haven't received a confirmation from my company yet, they are trying to reduce the risk at max.

  7. As Susana mention I highly recommend Fer Juaristi, he lives in my town Monterrey and the fares are not as high as coming from USA, also Rafa Ibañez or David Josue are awesome... you can search here: Wedrockers "weddings with a twist" Destination wedding photographers specialized in Riviera Maya and Mexico
  8. 15. As Jessica mentioned the most used is Enlace , since is a versatile music band they play diff styles, you can search for reviews like the one from Amy or some other girls that have used them... You can also have a band from Guadalajara , is like 5 hours driving from PV and since is a big city they have plenty options to choose.

  20. The place looks amazing, as recommended by Jess, a WC will be a great help for you, I am working with Hector and Pris from Prisar Vallarta and I remember seeing pics from a wedding there... it was gorgeous!!! For transportation , Prisar is helping with this, they even suggested, we are renting an bus to move our guests from Church to Ceremony, because the Church is in a Residential zone very close to the marina... so there are no taxis in the zone. In the are of the Villas is the same, you will note get taxis regularly on the street, so you will need to arrange the transport to get your guests back to hotel at the end of the reception.
