  1. Hi, I am a Mexico Bride as well and encountered the same problem as you. I could not find ANYTHING that I liked! We finally decided on Boarding Pass Save-the-Dates. They turned out cute, and all of our guests have really like them. It was such a stress-reliever to finally make the choice! Good Luck! Jackie
  2. Hi Jennette I have found that my FI has the exact same problem - all suit pants look "tapered" on him The khaki suit is by Stephen Geoffrey, and is available at Jims Formal Wear. Jackie
  3. Welcome to the boards! My fiance and I recently took a vacation to the Mayan Riviera, and we loved it! The beaches are beautiful. We stayed at the Iberostar Paraiso, and saw a few weddings while we were there. The set-up was nice. I have also heard great things about Dreams Tulum. Good luck! jackie
  4. Actually, I would not use the striped pants. I would just use the matching plain grey ones. But, I did like the shade of grey. Hmmmm... Good thing I have several more months to keep looking Thanks for your help!
  5. HI Nini - I appreciate your opinion. What is it about the grey you don't like??
  6. Love that idea (so much that I might steal it!!) And thanks for the website.
  7. We are getting married at Playa Fiesta in February. It is a "Wedding Hotel" and caters mainly to wedding groups and parties. Trip Advisor (Reviews of vacations, hotels, resorts, vacation and travel packages - TripAdvisor) has some amazing reviews that we found helpful in making our choice. I also talked with several girls that had their wedding there, and they had nothing but great things to say about it. If you need more details, I am glad to help! Jackie
  8. Our colors are pale pink and lime with fuschia accents.(BM's wearing pale pink)
  9. Grey or Khaki?? He will probably wear a white button-up underneath(no vest or tie). And solid grey pants instead of the striped. Our wedding will be held at Sunset, on a Sundeck overlooking the ocean. BM's are wearing tea-length pale pink dresses. I like both, but think that grey will look better w/ the BM's dresses?? WDYT? Thank you for your help!!! Jackie
  10. Hi Mary! Congrats on your engagment! February is such a great time to marry in PV. We chose to get married at Playa Fiesta on the 29th. The owners there have been very helpful so far. I haven't heard of Villa Premiere, but I LOVE the idea of a boutique hotel. Good Luck! Jackie
  11. I made choices quickly, thanks to all the "pre-engagement" planning My mom and I are actually going dress shopping tomorrow!
  12. Yep, a leap year wedding it is! It took me a while to get used to, but it was the only date in February that worked with our schedules. Of course, FI is thrilled with the idea of only buying 1 card every 4 years! We were engaged March 5th, so I have been planning for about 3 months now - he proposed on the front steps of our new home! So far, we have our location booked and STD's sent out.
  13. Hi Kim! I am a little late to post, but I just joined the boards today. Anyways... I am a Playa Fiesta Bride!! Our wedding will be in February, 2008. I would love to hear all about your scouting trip. We chose Playa Fiesta without seeing it first, but the reviews and pictures online looked incredible. Looking forward to talking! Jackie
