Have you heard about or done Vallarta Adventure's regular canopy tour?? That one leaves later in the day, but I just think the Outdoor Adventure sounds more fun.
  2. Our ceremony is from 4:30 - 5:00, pictures/cocktail hour from 5-6, and dinner at Sunset. Hope that helps!
  3. We picked the month of February for the weather, and the specific date was all that was available.

I totally agree - Unfortunately, the tour only leaves once a day, at 8 a.m. Why are all of these little decisions sooo tough!?
  5. After much research, we finally settled on a company to do our Group Canopy Tour (Vallarta Adventures - The Outdoor Challenge). The only downside is that the tour would leave at 7:45 a.m. on guest's first full day in PV. This means that everyone going on the tour would miss the hotel's free breakfast, and have to get up early after our welcome dinner the night before. Should I find another tour that leaves later in the day?? Or is this not a big deal? (Sorry if this is a silly question! I am starting to stress out over little details !! ) Thanks for your opinions! Jackie

  7. I love the white starfish - elegant, yet "beachy" I haven't used them, so I'm not much help on which size to use, though?
  8. The same thing happened to me - I fell in love with a SUPER expensive Reem Acra gown. I continued to shop, and eventually found a much cheaper gown that I loved (almost!) as much. So, IMO, keep shopping and if nothing else comes up that you love, go with the Pnina Tornai gown. Let us know what you decide!!

    Hola!

Hi and Welcome to the forum! I am getting married in Puerto Vallarta in February. Where is your wedding going to be?
  10. Welcome to the forum! I am a Mexico bride, but not a Dreams bride. You will find tons of information on here. Do you have a date yet??
  11. My sister uses these all of the time! Her hair dresser even dyes them the exact same color as her hair, so they match perfectly. She just clips them under her hair and says that they are really easy to wear. They look totally natural.
  12. Have you ever used Allrecipes.com? They have lots of great cupcake/cake recipes(chocolate, raspberry, strawberry, and coconut-orange) and they are all rated from 1-5 stars. Here is one of the top rated cake recipes(you could just modify it to cupcakes) that looks really yummy- COCONUT POKE CAKE 1 (18.25 ounce) package white cake mix 1 (14 ounce) can cream of coconut 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk 1 (16 ounce) package frozen whipped topping, thawed 1 (8 ounce) package flaked coconut DIRECTIONS Prepare and bake white cake mix according to package directions. Remove cake from oven. While still hot, using a utility fork, poke holes all over the top of the cake. Mix cream of coconut and sweetened condensed milk together. Pour over the top of the still hot cake. Let cake cool completely then frost with the whipped topping and top with the flaked coconut. Keep cake refrigerated. Good luck!
  13. WOW! What a beautiful wedding(and bride!) Thanks for sharing the pics!
  14. Tammy, your pictures are amazing!! Everything looks so beautiful! It would be hard to choose any favorites, b/c they are all so great!! Congrats! And, sorry that I'm late to post
  15. Happy Birthday to you Happy Birthday to you Happy Birthday, dear Jiiiiiiiill Happy Birthday to you!
  16. I am making signs for our Pre-Wedding Fiesta, and need some help! How would I write/say these words in Spanish? "Welcome to the Fiesta" "Candy" "Food" "Drinks" Thanks so much!
  17. I was looking for a smaller, intimate resort as well. I found Playa Fiesta Hotel and Beachclub and could not be happier with our choice! We are getting married there in February. Lindsay and Adam (the owners and WC) have been wonderful to work with so far. I am not sure how close it is to Nuevo Vallarta, though?? There was also an 18 room minimum block required for us, but we are having our wedding there. I'm not sure if the block is still required without having a wedding there? May be worth looking into... Good Luck! Jackie
  18. Welcome to the forum! I have heard wonderful things about Dreams properties. Let us know what we can do to help! Jackie
  19. I am flying Delta. I called ahead of time, and their rep said they would gladly put it in the coat closet IF THERE WAS ROOM. I can't imagine the closet being that full, so I am taking my chances that my dress will be able to fit! Ahh..makes me a little nervous!

  21. I agree that January is the perfect time to request your RSVP's. Guests should definitely know by then whether or not they will be making the trip. Since guests will have their invites for a while before needing to RSVP, I would put a reminder on your website. Good luck!
  22. A few veggies I like are: - Veggies dipped in hummus - Steamed broccoli and cauliflower w/ melted cheese on top - Celery w/ Peanut Butter I also put loads of veggies into spaghetti sauce and on top of my pizza.
