Photographer recommendation in Cabo?
michelle08 replied to kpluse's topic in Destination Wedding in Cabo
i don't really know much about the photographers....i booked Tomas Barron and I am just hoping he turns out good...i know i don't hear much about him on here...but he was in my budget and his work looked good on the website and maye recommended him. on a side note: I changed my wedding date to 5-26-08 so we aren't date twins any longer! -

I think i like that for my save the date magnets instead of my boarding pass magnets...

Okay so I am reading over the optional travel insurance and it seems like a good idea...but I could also see why I wouldn't need it since I have medical coverage that I verified extends out of country and renter's insurance for my belongings, life insurance if I die, etc... How many of you are purchasing the travel insurance?

How long have you and your husband / fiance been together?
michelle08 replied to NABUMBAH's topic in Chit Chat Corner!
Brad and I have been dating since Feb 2003. Our first date was 2/15/03. Since we hadn't met yet and had just talked on the phone we didn't want to go out and meet for the first time on Valentines day because it's too romantic for us...so we picked the day after. He proposed 3/16/07 and we will marry 5/26/08 so 5 years later! -

Poor guy is already nervous about this whole wedding thing...the least I can do it let him get the ring he wants! I'm evil!

It couldn't hurt to go look just to validate the fact that you don't want one. Like I said I never really wanted one until recentlly I started budgeting and thinking about the band ect... and I thought I might be wierd if I didn't have one but I still wasn't sure because I like my ring and I didn't want a band to take away from it at all....So by going out and looking and realizing i couldn't do it anyway...it helped to validate my original opinion.... Not to mention the help and opinions from all of you!!

I wanted to do that...but my FI says it's too expensive... I need feedback from you when you start to help me persuade...

The band should be what the person wants and looks best on them. Hey...I really like your logo with the starfish...did you make that?? It is so simple yet really nice....

Okay girls!! So here is another ring question... My FI hasn't decided for sure but he is really considering a yellow gold band for himself. My ring is white gold and I personally like that better than yellow gold. He trys on the white gold and he thinks it looks funny on him. I think i looks weird but I think more because neither of us is used to him with a ring on! He tried on a yellow gold band and it actually seemed to mesh better with his fair complexion and light hair. So the question is...is it wierd for him to have yellow gold and me have white gold??
-
Well we went today to the where he bought the ring and they pretty much said they couldn't even customize a band because of the basket setting nothing would look right with it. The only thing would be to take it out of that setting and put it into a lifted up prong setting! Well I don't want that. I love the ring the way it is and it's special to me that this is the ring that Brad picked out and i don't want to change that at all. Not to mention that I never really wanted a band anyway...I just wanted to make sure that i didn't want one if that makes any sense. So I am good now and we are not looking at bands for me any longer...I just told Brad that he will just have to get me some other ring to wear on my other hand!!
