I'm sorry to hear you are sick... stress won't make it any better. You do have time still and have alot of people willing to help. I don't live close by, but I can still help with whatever..let us know what you need to do still. I think maybe all you Jersey/close to jersey girls should meet up. It would be a nice meeting!

Is there a costco over there? maybe you can buy the bottled water when you get there and then just have the labels done already and replace the ones that came with with you labels? That way you don't have to transport that heavy water!!!

I normally like going by myself shopping unless I am not buying for myself. However I would like to go with someone else for their opinion. However I am the type that if I am out once weekend and pass by a bridal shop and have time...I will just go in. I haven't officially looked yet but I did go in davids bridal one day already by myself because I was in the neighborhood.

Also, does your FI actually want his friend to stand next to him?? I mean he can still be the "best man" and do all the duties and be recognized maybe even help usher guest to their seat ect...but then just sit in the front so that it's just you two up there??

After a pelvic exam, a urine test and 3 hours we determined it was actually appendicitis. I had to be transported to a different hospital in a different town that could do the surgery and while in route my appendix ruptured. So a week in the hospital, 3 weeks missed work and nasty scar later, I can honestly say "some" doctors really don't know what they are doing. Yikes!! That sucks!!! I actually at one point during my "episode" last year thought maybe it was that too because I had a fever of 102 one night....but I ruled it out!

I also keep the Welcome page updated with a list of when new info is posted and what section it is in. I've even gotten RSVP's on the site. Except for not being able to get the music to work -- I LOVE it -- and people are using it ... but our guest list is also 165 people, so that might be why we are getting more hits. I think we have a few loyal people who check it regularly ... and then we see a huge spike in the days following an email update. Tami Birckner & Tom Bollerman's Wedding Website - WedQuarters I am using wedquarters too and I can't figure out the music!! At least I am not the only one. I feel your pain tara... I have actually had alot of visitors, but I don't know who they are...must be the same people checking everyday and me of course! But what bums me out is that not very many people have signed the guest book or rsvp!! That is what I wanted the most!! I didn't even ask for a final rsvp...just a preliminary... I still don't think it's a waste though...I know that all the info people will need will be on there and if they try and ask me...I will tell them to just look on the website! It will force them to go there!

Future MIL Issues! Bridal Showers...
michelle08 replied to CancunBride07's topic in Just venting or funnies
I agree with everyone else....sorry that you had to deal with that...but no, she shouldn't be invited to the shower. I honestly don't know why she would want to be. I wonder if it's just stress from her situation. It seems that she wants to be in the spotlight a little with wanting to be involved in everything and have her name on everything. I wonder if she is always like this or just since her illness? It seems like she just doesn't want to miss out on anything and wants to be recognized or remembered?? I kinda understand that she has alot of weird emotions right now...but still, she should try and not take them out on other people! She needs to know that Brides have alot of weird emotions too! -

my sister had a personal facial thing for my mom one mother's day so I felt like I had to buy. I bought this compact thing that had 3 colors of eye shadow and blush and I bought lipstick and eyebrow pencil. I also bought the foundation and something else...I was suckered! Anyway, I didn't really care for the foundation. It covered okay but it was kind of thick. Not cakey when you have it on, but too thick to rub on (if you know what I mean) It was annoying! However, the lipstick I loved and reorder it all the time and the same w/ the eyebrow pencil. I have been using the blush and the eyeshadow too and I am out of both so I am contemplating reording it all or tyring something new. i am one who has different brands for all my make-up. I use mac compact only ( I stopped using foundation all togther). i would say it's a worth a try to help her out and try it out. If you don't like it you don't have to buy more. Or you can keep buying something small like lipstick if you find one you like so that you support her...

We are only staying in cabo for a week total. We can't afford to stay longer and pay for the whole wedding festivities. Originally I wanted to make sure that all our guests come earlier in the week and are gone the day after the wedding so that we had time to ourselves. Well, I am realizing this won't work. I can't control when people want to come. So I am not going to worry about it. We really won't have a "honeymoon" or maybe 1 or 2 days by ourselves?? I am okay with that. We are both more the type who like to be with other people and have fun so we figure if we want to go on another trip in a few months or the next year, then we will. BUT...I think it's a great idea for you to go to a different hotel and have your "honeymoon" time and most decent people will totally understand this!

This is what we have on the front page of our website....I didn't send anything with the std's... Hola Everyone! Welcome to our wedding website. We would like to officially announce that we will be getting married in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico on Monday, May 26, 2008. We understand that having a destination wedding will prevent alot of our close friends and family from joining us on this special day. It was a hard decision, but we realized that we are not a "traditional" couple. We love to travel and thought we would have alot more fun making a mini vacation out of our Wedding. Although we would love for you all to come if you can, we completely understand and respect your decisions if you can't make it. For all of you who will be attending our wedding, all of the information you will need to know about our wedding and the events surrounding this day will be available for you here. For those of you who will not be able to make it, we thought this would be a great way for us to share all of our experiences with you. We are very excited and we look forward to sharing our special day with you!! Thanks for all of your love and support! Michelle & Brad
