It was really good too. Thank god it's almost fall and soup will be sounding tasty. Okay I am behind but I did start on the 8th as I mentioned and i am down 6 lbs!!! However I totally found that progresso light soup and I love it!!!! I don't normally like canned soup and this is great!!! However.....what do you mean the whole can is 2 points?? I totallly thought it was 0 for the whole can?? I am so upset now.

Shelly, I am so sorry to hear this!!! You have been so excited for this...I agree you are very strong to be able to make this decision. You did the right thing though, neither of you want to look back and regret that it wasn't the way you wanted it. Let me know if I can help in anyway!

To those who had a civil wedding in Cabo, HELP...
michelle08 replied to olisa6's topic in Destination Wedding in Cabo
Do you have an outside wedding coordinator? I still don't know much about it...but I should figure it out fast! I learned a little from TammyB. I think you need an apostile?? Which costs like $95 and that means that they translate it in english. It take like 3 days though so if you aren't staying that long after the wedding then they have to mail it to you. Maye and TammyB told me all of this. It does seem like a bit of a hassle and I never thought about if we loose it having to have it re-issued in Mexico...I might have to reconsider... -
Jilly, have a wonderful time and congrats!!!1

What if you did something that spelt out THIRTY? I am not sure exactly what but maybe names or the word spelt out in something?

Seating Chart Question
michelle08 replied to michelle08's topic in Wedding Etiquette, Traditions, to dos
Thanks for the info christine. I can totally get what you are saying from the pic! So you and your husband sat at the head table solo? -
I have a ton of time for this and still haven't got all the rsvp's but have a pretty good idea. I was just thinking about where I would assign everyone and FMIL mentioned briefly one if she would be sitting with my mom (they have met once along time ago and have nothing in common). Is it weird to have them sit at the same table? I mean honestly it would work out good as far as getting everyone seated and not having extra spaces at tables but I wasn't sure if this was extremely uncommon or not?

That sounds like a ton of fun!!! I love scavenger hunts!!! Let me think of some ideas!!!

I think the B*** should be held accountable for dispicable business practices! That's exactly what I was going to say!!!! You were sick!! Just one more thing you have to deal with! ;( -

And the best thing was that the food was all delicious, I am thrilled about our menu choices and they will be perfect for the reception. We didn't have time to taste appetizers since I asked too late, but Daniela had them sent to our room the next day for a little mid-afternoon snack. Good thing that we did that, since we didn't like any exept for the shrimp shooters. So I'm glad we did that. But overall, Daniela was perfect and completely blew us away with her hospitality. We even decided to have after-party food at our reception after we were talking to her, she has already sent us the menus and it's going to be so fun!! I'm so glad you love the food....and I will note that the appetizers aren't great except the shrimp.... What choices are you picking? Are you doing plated or buffett?? -

I don't think there is AV capability to hook up a laptop to the TV, or at least, my fiance didn't notice it, or didn't look hard enough! But there is a DVD player in the living room, so that's an option. Thanks for looking at that! I wasn't set on doing anything with it..just keeping my options open! There is a pic where I'm standing with Daniela on the grass...the area we are looking at is actually a built in bar that they use for receptions, so it's nicely set up, tucked away and very practical. Okay I was wondering what those two rectangle things were. That's cool. I just thought they set up the food over there but that's the bar so I guess they do the food somewhere else or maybe i get to pick... There is a fire pit at the suite, see the picture, and they will light it whenever you want! I knew they had that...it's awesome...I might have some smores available for the end of the night... The kitchen is lousy, the fridge is not a mini-fridge, but certainly smaller than a standard fridge, so keep that in mind. There is a service area, which leads from the side of the suite to the kitchen and a service hallway, for catering needs. No oven. Just a mircowave, a small fridge, and a blender. There is an ice maker, just below the micro in the pic. That was the first thing Brad and I said when looking at your pic...that the kitchen is horrible...BUT we won't really be in the kitchen...and that's probably why it's not so great! it isn't where most people will be... The 2nd bedroom is still huge, and so is the bathroom. From the pics it's doesn't look like the suite is 5200 sq feet...what do you think? Is it just that the rooms are so big that is where the sq footage is? Or I wonder if they include all the decks and patios.. The Master Suite bathroom is phenomenal. It's all glass, and totally private, with trees, plants etc outside. It feels like you're in the forest, it's awesome. Yes, Brad is actually excited to take a shower in the trees!!!And yes, that's an outdoor shower in the picture which is private and totally screened off from other guests. There's a walk-in shower as well, inside, There are two full bathrooms and one half-bath (perfect for an event). Awesome!!! What else? Think I covered it all. Overall, a fabulous suite! Jill, thanks for taking so many pics and commenting on things. Thank you too for taking pics of tha patio...I didn't realize it was the only way to get down to the patio. I also didn't realize exactly how large the lower patio is...or so it seems from the pics, so I'm sure that is enough space for dancing...we only have like 35 people anyway...so it's no like we need a ton of room!!! If I think of any other questions I will run them by you! Oh...how was the food...what did you taste? -

Drop everything & do it. Momentum can build from there. Good luck! I am with you guys too...when there is just so much going on in your life it seems sex is low priority. For us gals (me at least) it very mental to have sex and for guys it seems just physical. I don't mean that they don't love us...just I think it's easier for them to do it whenver even if they are tired or stresses. With working full time, school full time, planning this wedding (which I am doing very little right now so I don't explode), I feel fat and i just can't get on a great eating and exercise routine. My grandma is very sick and hospice has given her less than 6months to live so in addition to the emotional side...we are trying to share grandmasitting duties to relive my mom....it's just so much to think about and tackle that sex is hard. Sorry to ramble on...but I put 1 x a week and honestly that's about right maybe it goes 2 on rare occasions...but even so, I do it eventhough I don't really want it. It's me in the relationship...I just am not that into it...and I have a hard time clearing my mind. I at least feel a little better from reading these posts though because it seems I am pretty average?

Okay...I know nothing about cakes...but I heard from someone in the states that fondant is better in the heat and then the cabo cake lady, Deena (I think it was her or Maye?? Said the same thing that the buttercream is better inn the heat than the fondant. So based on what everyone has said... I'm thinking maybe there is something weird about the fondant down in Mexico?? Sounds weird but why would all of them down there say no, use buttercream and everyone here says no use fondant?
