exactly the same with us...our wedding is in May and we booked ours last month because AA was having a roundtrip non stop flight for $300 each out the door! I thought this was a great deal and the best I would probably find for non-stop so I just did it! Just keep checking and when you find a good deal, book it!

Okay...I went for a second time and all is good!!! I posted a separate thread with pics!!!! Thanks for all your help and encouragement ladies!

Thanks everyone!!! I'm so glad everyone is feeling the same on these as I am! Tammy... I too love the sweatheart cut! It makes a big difference! I am not sure what "the feeling" is?? I mean I know it would be if I just knew this was the one or something. I didn't feel like I had to have it right there!!! But again, that's not really my personality?? I know that while i was trying those on especially the first one and the last one (even though it didn't fit all the way) that I was very excited and started to actually get really excited for my wedding! It felt alot more real to me! So I am thinking that when I go next weekend to look at more I will have a better idea of which one is the one! Jackie...the price is way more than I wanted to spend...so I still might find a cheaper one at like David's, but after trying those dresses on, I realize that I wanted to really feel pretty and comfortable in my dress that day and unfortunately if that means spending a little bit more on my dress than I wanted then that's what I might have to do!!! Who would have thought that I might actually have a connection to my wedding dress? I honestly thought it wasn't that important to me! ?

I also like the first and last one best too!! Thanks! I can't believe how excited I am now to go look for more! I told my sister that she can go with me next weekend. I want to go to David's bridal and another bridal store too because this one didn't have the picture below...and I really like this one alot!!!

Tammy he is so cute!!!! My good friend loves Boxers and has 2 of them. He is so lucky to have you guys take him in and give him a great home! I don't know how people can be so cruel to animals...

Okay so according to my thread last weekend..I didn't have a great first experience dress shopping. So I had an appointment today at a different place and I went by myself and it was great!!! I actually didn't feel anti-wedding like the last time. I didn't feel too fat (although I wasn't feeling skinny) and I actually liked about 5 of the 8 or 9 dresses I tried on!!! I am not however ready to pick one yet. although I really liked the style of the dresses today, they were more than I thought I would pay for a dress. They were all between $500 and $1,000 which really isn't alot, but I kept telling myself that I wouldn't pay more than $500 for a dress! So I still want to check out david's bridal and there is one other reputable bridal store around here. I'm actually excited now! Here are the pics... Looking at them now, I felt I looked better in the mirror than the pictures. I think the angle isn't that great either!!! This is the Maggie Dress that Jen showed me and I loved in the picture so I had to try it on...although it looks much better on the model I do like it on me. It's always hard to see the back while in it..so after seeing the picture..it might not be that flattering w/ my hips?? (Front) (Back) This one, I am pretty sure is the exact same dress my friend just wore in her wedding earlier this month! I didn't know until I had it on...I like it though, but I can't get it because it's hers! (Front) (Back) I believe this is the other Maggie I tried on but I don't know what style. This was the $1,000 one though! I didn't take a pic of the back because it too was a corset back and I'm sure it looked the same as the other! (Front) This is a St. Patrick?? I am not sure about this one...I honestly can't remember it already! I think I liked it because the material was very light which would be good in the heat! (Front) (Back) Now this one...is cheap ($570) and it has that same light material and I really liked it! I am bummed though because it was a size 6 and I am not so it didn't zip or anything and so I couldn't get pics of the back!!! It is a Pronovia?? (Front) Whatever one I get I will most like hem up the train..I'm not a big train fan!! Sorry so much but I was excited!

Okay good...I am just always concerned that there won't be enough to fill people up!! But the way I see it, it's a bigger selection than a plated meal! Plus I might add some pasta too it too...not sure yet.

Okay so my FMIL has very different taste than me and she is very opinionated. Everything she pictures for our wedding, I have the complete opposite! I am not letting her influence any of my decisions, but it just annoys me so much when she says things and I don't know why! Last night FI wanted me to show his mom some pics of the wedding location ect and one of the pics had these two pillars in the back of the chairs for the ceremony with flower displays on them. I already told her that we were having no flowers because they are expensive. All we are doing is my bouquet for like $50 and my MOH for $25!!! No flower center pieces, nothing!!! So she says and you guys are going to have those nice flower displays too right? I said, NO!! We are having no flowers...it's slashed from the budget! She says well why is budget getting slashed so much and I told her that it's because we don't have alot of money and to be honest, I don't like flowers that much and those were never really in the budget. She says Oh, I really like flowers, but thats okay if you guys don't want to have them! I said, I just don't see the need on spending money on flowers that will die and I can't take home with me, especially when the location is absolutely breathtaking!!! Then the other issue comes up about money. She told FI quite a few months back that she would give him $5,000 for the wedding. As generous as this is, I didn't really know where it was coming from because she doesn't have alot of extra money (that we know of). Plus, she wouldn't pin point when she would give it to us. I don't want to sound ungrateful, but when I am figuring out a budget, I need to know all the resources available or else I need to not calculate it in. So that is what I have decided to do..base the budget on just our funds and then if parents want to kick in, then we pay ourselves back! So lately when FI will ask about it, she won't even talk an actual number anymore and all she says is so when do you need to start paying for things?? What does that matter? I want to know if you are giving us anything or not. All she had to do is say I am going to give you x amount of $$$ and so when do you need to start paying things because I don't quite have it yet. Then I tell her and she says okay then I will give it to you by x date. Then I would know and be fine, but she just doesn't want to commit but yet she wants to have all these flowers?? Sorry to vent...I am not necessarily looking for answers...but It just feels good to type it out and get it off my chest!!!! She is a good person and I love her and would appreciate anything she gives us even if it's $5 but I just need her to stop shying around the situation and make a decision already! UGH
