I wanted a full 4 hour reception with DJ. The prices were for the first 25 people I believe and then it was per person. It was going to be way to much for me to afford. Of course I wanted the most expensive package because it has everything I wanted for my wedding. I did a price comparison to Riu Ocho Rios. I took everything that they offer and compared it to Riu and there was a huge difference in price. My Riu wedding all together should be no more than $5,000. This includes everything I wanted from Tropical Weddings(including the dove release for $150). My reception at the Riu is only going to cost $1000 for 4 hours and that includes the food. I think I made the right choice for me, but it is your day - do what makes you happy! Tropical Weddings has beautiful locations, it was just to much for my budget!!
  2. Robin did an excellent job on your pics!! I loved your gown and your bridesmaid dresses. Everything turned out lovely. It will be my turn to use Robin in July and I am totally excited to work with her after seeing everyone's wedding pics!

  4. Don't feel bad. My in-laws made us do the same. I did a quick registry that is not the greatest. Actually it is kinda lame!
  5. I was going to use them. I spoke to the wedding coordinator there and she is great. The prices aren't too bad for a smaller group. Once you get over 50 guests the price almost start to double. They also have nice full packages and beautiful locations. I decided against them because of the amount of people I was having attend. It would be too costly!! I hope this helps!!

That is so good to hear. Even though the scale hasn't moved it still shows some progress!!! Keep up the good work!

  10. Thanks for all the congrats! It definitely means a lot to me. I love this forum, you guys are the greatest!!
  11. Hello all, I just found out on Saturday that I am pregnant. I took a couple of tests because I couldn't believe it!! So, of course now I can't compete for the Biggest Loser, but I am still going to excercise and do what I can to support all the ladies participating. At this point I have to change my ticker to something that fits my current situation. I am so excited!!!! Again, I am sorry ladies for forfeiting!!! I guess it is one less person to worry about anyway!!
  12. I started off using Proactiv but after awhile my skin got immune to it and I was breaking out all over again. That is when I decided that I have to go the Dr. to find out what is going on and what can he do fix this problem.

I started going to my dermatolgist about 10 months ago and what a difference!! I have no marks on my face (almost flawless) and my back is almost spotless. The best part is my insurance covers it. I have horizon and I don't have to pay a copay either. The dermatologist also gives you a facial wash and some antibiotics to use. Truth be told, I don't use the antibiotics he gave me for my face any more. I just use Neutrogena and get my chemical peels. Remember they are superficial peels. They put it on your face for like 3 minutes then you wash it off and leave. Not to mention all the free samples they give you. Some of which I am putting in my OOT Bags because I have so many.
  14. I joined my fitness pal. I love the way they break everything down for you. I am going to have fun with this website.
  15. My stomach and my thighs. I HATE THEM!! I have to constantly hold my gut in and my thighs are starting to show signs of cellulite (this is so embarassing). I'm only 27, I shouldn't have any signs of cellulite.... what the !!!
  16. Hey guys, For those of you that eat lunch at Blimpie's I just want to let you know that the nutritional value chart is not in stores or on their website. I sent an email requesting them to send me a copy of the chart and the email was bounced back to me. If you are keeping track of your calories and food intake then Blimpie's is not the way to go (even though I love their food). Subway however is not afraid to show details and I may just starting eating there more frequently then blimpie's. Just some FYI!!

  18. I signed up yesterday and I am so excited. Today for breakfast I had a green apple (50 cal) at 9am and at 10:30 I had a Danon yogurt (60 cal) and for lunch at 1:00 pm I had a tuna sandwich on wheat bread no mayo (not sure of the calorie intake on that). Exactly what steps would I need to take to tighten my body up. I can't afford to go the gym right now. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to tone your body from home? I have an elliptical and I am going to start doing that every morning (hopefully).
  19. I just ordered from ailana. I ordered the 7"W x 9"H x 3"D tote bags. When I get them I will post pictures.

Will you have any pics of these rooms? The website does not. Thanks, Heather I went to a wedding that was done at this resort and I have to say it was very beautiful and nicely done. The staff was very accommodating and the sunset wedding was so photogenic. I think it is a nice place to be married. I would've probably done this resort if I didn't have kids coming along!!
