  1. I did it girls! I posted pics in my original post to make it easier to find. I wonder if I lost a pound from the cut! LOL
  2. There is a link to my pics in my siggy. We used Elizabeth Lloyd.
  3. I FINALLY got to watch it. What a busy weekend and I just kept thinking about Grey's being on the DVR. I was finally able to sit down and watch it today. What a great episode. Ok so my theory was not even close. LOL I guess I'm not a genius after all. However, I thought the reasoning behind Rebecca's craziness was a little weak. Some kind of personality disorder? Weird. I was so sad for Alex. I've always liked his character- even when he was being a dick. Not sure why, but I could kinda see that he was a man hurting deep inside- or dark and twisty as Meridith would say. Izzy had a totally short part in the finale. I'm scared- I really like her character. I'd hate to see her leave, but I could very easily seeing the show go on without her. There's a lot of characters on the rise- Lexi, for example, who you can't help but love. Thank GOD Christina is out of her funk. She was starting to annoy me and that was totally not like her character. I wasn't into the lesbian scene. That was too cliche for my taste. It's not shocking anymore. We've seen women kiss on primetime TV many times now. Ok, so I'll stop writing like I'm obsessed or something. LOL
  4. HE is SOOO cute. Congrats. I'm happy to hear both mommy and baby are doing well. Keep us posted with more pics. I LOVE looking at the little ones.
  5. Oh Tami! That was perfect. How awesome that you guys had a spot to have the AHR. Those cupcakes are to die for! So pretty!
  6. The stairs aren't slippery. They are rock and a lot wider steps than I had first imagined. Stairs are just my nemesis in general so I'm sure normal people don't even think twice about them.
  7. Wow. It's all so great Morgan. You truly have developed into a little designer. I can't believe you already have your clothes picked out! You are so on top of the game. I packed hours before we left. I was definitely not organized like this.
  8. So pretty Morgan. I love that design. I laughed at the Sarah-ish comment. She's becoming famous!

Steve, I and a few other "active" ones went to PV 4 days out of the 7. It was nice because we were so far so we kinda all stuck together. Not many were the adventurous independent types. However, the rooms are GORGEOUS and freshly remodeled. Sitting area in front of balcony. One of the two plasma screen TVs. This one is the one you can view while laying in bed. The other is in the sitting room/sleeping area with the trundle bed. This is an sitting/sleeping area right when you walk into the room. It has doors that close it off from the main room. I believe in the 2 bedroom rooms this is the 2nd bed. Here it's a trundle bed. Each room has a balcony with either an ocean front or poolview. Most times both. As seen here. This room was on the 2nd floor I believe. They had a full view of the pool and this is what they had of the ocean. The higher rooms had amazing views. So so pretty. No pics of the bathrooms but they are HUGE and beautiful. I need to do a review instead of hijacking your thread. haha Just in case you were curious about the Barcelo. The honeymoon suite pretty much sucked compared to these rooms. It's not remodeled so I would not stay there. However, they hosted my WD in one of their suites. Holy crap- it is SOOOOO nice and bigger than some condos!
  10. Presidente Intercontinental looked so pretty from the outside and it's not very big. I had looked at it in the beginning but I think we chose not to do it because it wasn't AI and it was nearly as much to stay at our resort which was AI. Our resort was even further than that. The distance wasn't too bad and it kept our group together.
  11. Pics! Pics! Pics! LOL Great review Lizz. I can't believe you guys played flip cup and beer pong at your WD. That's AWESOME!!
  12. Great review Jaime. I'm so glad you are not afraid of the stairs anymore! I can't believe you got sick on your way over though. I thought it was surprisingly smooth but I did sit on the floor- not the bench seating. We were the last ones on the day of the wedding too so there wasn't much seating. I think it's because they go to Nuevo Vallarta first. So all in all, are you looking for a new hotel?
  13. Way to go Marsha! Wooohooo!
  14. we didn't even have to buy any. We got bottled water served to us everywhere. It was nice. But I really didn't lay off the margaritas so the water was a tad useless. haha
  15. That's great Morgan. This is such an important part of the wedding. Def got to make it your own.
  16. Oh geez. What a mess. I hope things work out, but trust me, I would contact some head honchos ASAP. We had some issues after our stay at our resort and we got such a run around. I kept hounding the resort and finally got the email of the GM. THankfully it got resolved but it took 2 weeks for even the GM to get back to me. Things really do run a tad slower.
  17. Absolutely! Great thread Steph. Thank you to all of our military men and women. They make the ultimate sacrifice and they truly deserve to be honored each and every day.
  18. Alrighty because Sunday is the day for me. I'M DOING IT. The only reason I questioned it was because every time I told some one I was cutting it all off and going brown they told me not to. I was getting paranoid that maybe it wouldn't look good. Now I just realize that they are sissies!

  20. I think it might be hard to organize that too Sarah. Are you guys doing excursions? Will these overlap the 7pm dinner time? How many people are going? We just kinda played it by ear though. Most days our group always ate at our buffet around 6ish. It was kind of an unwritten rule. So meeting up at 7 might work. I'd just choose a restaurant the night before and let your concierge make reservations for you.
  21. http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t2137 http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t14988 Here's a couple similar threads. Personally I think it would be cute to choose a song that reflects more of your personality/tastes. However, if you are a traditional person, I see no reason to change it.
  22. haha join the club! A lot of us are already married too! I honestly had to make a deal with myself. No forum time around the hubby...unless he's doing something stupid like playing video games or washing the car- again!

  24. That sucks. I'm sorry you have to deal with that. But what's a few hours in the big picture right? Just drink some cocktails on the plane and you will forget you even got there later than planned.
  25. That's great. I think it's fantastic that the resort contacted you. They should put their guests' fears at ease and I'm so happy to see them follow through with that. Your FI did an incredible job confronting his mom. Hopefully she will see the error of her ways and sulk peacefully (if she still chooses to sulk.) I bet you anything, she will get tehre and realize it was stupid to worry. My grandparents (who have barely left their home state) were so afraid of Mx. Just from media hype and yada yada. The soon realized their fears were silly and had a great time.
