  1. Oh crap- now the nation will now about OOT bags. LOL I was hoping my guests would never know I didn't do them. I really hope you get picked though! Sounds so fun and you wouldn't need a videographer!
  2. Ok first- I love the booze table. Are those pitchers just full of juices or is that some kind of yummy mixed drinks? The teacups are so cute. What the heck are you going to do with them all? LOL I'm glad you had fun.
  3. Wow. I can't believe its your turn now! CRAZY. It's all so beautiful Erin. I'm sure it will turn out fabulous. Have a wonderful time.
  4. Yikes! Good luck Jaime. I hope it works out for you. I really like her work.
  5. Here's ours. I didn't really care about this much either- we just wanted to do the traditional cake cutting. I'm glad we did- it was fun. The cake didn't get eaten though.

  7. Have you seen Broken Down Palace? Same idea- they were convicted (if that's what you want to call it since I don't think a trial was involved) of smuggling some drugs as well. They were "innocently" duped though. The bellboy stuffed it in their luggage. Anyways- the movie scared the CRAP out of me.
  8. Jen these are so cute/fun! My favs- 24, 27, 30. I think you look adorable in 33 and I love the b&w version of it with you looking out at the ocean. Very very pretty! I wish I could do one.
  9. I TOTALLY forgot about this part of our WD. We had no music at all. Good conversation replaced it. I don't think it will be missed. Save the money.

Is that the reason you are getting married 3 months ahead of the destination wedding? Lots of brides on the forum have been married prior to the DW- myself included. We did it to save some money and to not hassle with translation of the license, etc. It was really easy and we didn't act like we were technically married until after our MX vows. We too were married about 3 months before. As for your current situation regarding the # of guests and trying to have an intimate reception- our wedding wasn't that big either. We had about 20 people (including us) so it's a little bigger than yours, but not by much. We had everyone seated at one table with us at the head to face the table. I have pictures of the set up in my siggy. I think you could definitely use an Ipod for music or hire some live music- like a steel band. You could even do a combo of the two- use a Ipod for dinner and then use a steel band for after dinner to spice things up. I'm sure whatever you plan will be fabulous. It's just so wonderful being in a beautiful place, completely in love. Your guests will enjoy witnessing two people completely in love.
  11. I can't see the pic! Bummer. I don't see why you can't post here. We all like seeing photos. Happy father's day. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
  12. It goes quickly. I remember at time when I didn't have much and then one day I took a gander at my post count and realized I had easily racked up thousands. Yikes!

  14. Another boy! Woohoo. Congrats to you and Jay. How exciting to get to start preparing for the little BOY!
  15. That was my FAVORITE part of the wedding planning. COming home to boxes on the front porch. I'm so sad now because I don't have anything to look forward to. Can't wait to see pics of it all. Congrats on finding such an easy way to get the attire taken care of. One less headache!
  16. What an ass. My dad was always like that. At the nice age of 15, I probably would have told my father off. I hope you guys can figure something out. Is your daughter upset?
  17. Ouch! I hope for some quick healing on your thumb. Poor thing. That must hurt.
  18. Your dress is beautiful!! I love how soft it looks. Congrats! It looked beautiful and that water is to DIE for.
  19. What a great color. Sooo pretty. You look adorable too!
  20. You look cute Abbie! I want some new bedding! Maybe I should get remarried- but at home this time. LOL
  21. Hopefully something positive will come out of it all. I have my fingers crossed for you guys!
  22. They are Mel. It's really weird. She is normally such a chill person- completely easy going. She is majorly suffering from some anxiety issues but maybe it's not the meds. Maybe the meds aren't blocking it all. I dunno- we just thought it was maybe a side affect or something. Plus she won't listen to anybody so that's just super frustrating. She has an appointment with the neurologist again this Thurs so hopefully we will know more now that she has had her testing.
  23. She saw a neurologist last Thursday. She was suppose to have an EEG done BEFORE seeing him, and he said the hospital should have either done it or immediately referred her to another place that could. Anyways-the appointment was kinda pointless without the test readings. He did say he's not convinced it's psuedoseizures. He said next time to skip Salem and go to Portland because they have better technology and would know how to handle it better. He seemed a little shocked she was released THREE times. As for how she is now- highly medicated and a little weird. Her medication has completely altered her personality so it's a little much to deal with. For example- she is NOT a person that up keeps her yard. I mean- at all. The grass is cut but they live out in the middle of nowhere with a ton of horses so they don't really weed or anything. She has been FREAKING out about the yard. So my whole family went over one weekend and basically gave her yard a makeover to help calm her down. She was out at 7AM weeding- it's a little fanatic.
