Walmart.com : Sand N Sun - Women's Smocked Strapless Cover-Up Dress : Women This may be it- I can't remember. LOL I was getting my oil changed and I snuck off from DH and bought another cover up. I'm sneaky like that. -

I just wore a swim suit cover up- LOL. Xhilaration® Dress Coverup - Turquoise : Target I also bought a $11 one at walmart yesterday. It's a similar style but it has a little ruffle at the bottom. It was super cute. I'll try to find that one too. I don't know if you want somethign a little more put together than a swimsuite cover up though. -
Some pictures of my planning
jajajaja replied to Copita's topic in Destination Wedding Planning Journal
I like the red and gold. I think it will look dramatic against the ocean scenery. I agree that if you wanted to add something a make up bag with some mini toiletries would be great. We always buy them whenever we go on a trip for ourselves so I'm sure the BMs would find it helpful. Wow- you are getting close too! 60 guests- that's a fabulous turn out. -

Ok- I have to say that I have a starfish necklace that I have had since I was like 15 or so. I love it and wear it occassionally. I have also had a sand dollar pendant that I sometime wear instead of the starfish- I've had that since I was a little girl. So what I'm meaning to say- these aren't things I have just because I had a DW and got obsessed with all things beach related. I think the earrings are overkill though. I don't really like matchy matchy jewelry though. -
I had a private event at the AI. I TOTALLY wish we would have saved our money, or just had one off property. None of my guests understood why we would have a private dinner instead of meeting at the buffet like we did every other night. I just wanted to treat them to a nice dinner, but apparently everyone thought it was unneccessary. It ended up bumming me out and the dinner was a flop. That's just my experience though. Some could have had a better one, but IMO it was not worth the $600 we spent.

Teenage girls made pact to get pregnant together

You would think at this point parent's would be all about educating their students on safe sex and providing contraceptives. Just pretending it's going to go away will not work. How about assigning all these girls one of those damn robotic crying babies. I bet that would help shape them up really quick. IMO- these girls have no idea what they are in for. I think the school should start dishing out some reality. A baby doesn't fix things. It's going to be a very hard road for them. I know people have babies this young, but they didn't CHOOSE it- at least I'm sure most don't. -

I was disgusted by the COMPANY...not you for posting a link to their website. I wrote them an email noting that it is one of the most unprofessional slideshows I have ever seen. It looks like a slutty 15 year olds myspace page. Did you guys notice that even the dress has stains on it in the second slideshow? WTH- that doesn't exactly look good when you are trying to SELL the dress. Ok rant over. I hope you are able to work out the dress dilemna. It will be the last thing on your mind come wedding day.

Table decorations for 1 long table...

I never really thought about what the proper way of seating people is until my grandmother said something at my bro's small wedding (20 people) that the bridal party should be next to the couple. Do people actually care about this, i don't want to offend anyone. I didn't do any assigned seating. I just let people sit where they wanted. We had all been at the resort for about 4 days together eating all meals practically together. Everyone had gotten to know each other so it was ok when people got mixed up together. It's not like they had to sit next to a stranger and make small talk you know? No one seemed offended and if they were, that's their problem. LOL I had a good time. -

Ok I have never heard of this company but those photos look like something a 15 year old put together. It looks like she took them in her freakin bedroom. The very first pic in part one made me think I was starting to watch some child porn. Disgusting! Part 2- you can see her nipples through the white shirt. Ok, this is wayyyyy wrong. I'm writing that stupid company.

While I think it's a very pretty dress, I can understand why a larger chested girl would not feel comfortable in it- bra or not. I doesn't look like there is a lot of material covering the girls. Plus I don't know anything about your BMs shape, but I can tell this wouldn't be a dress flattering to all figures.

I hope that helps some!

What are your colors? Maybe you could totally skip the whole "matchy" BM bit and have them all pick out dresses that they like. That seems like a fair solution since there is no way the one BM will ever be able to try a dress on. Personally, I wouldn't fight the system- it's too much of a headache. I would just tell them to get a dress in a certain shade. Even if the dress colors don't match 100%, I still think it would look good because the colors would at least all compliment one another.

BD or TTD? need advice
jajajaja replied to FelicityEve's topic in Wedding Etiquette, Traditions, to dos
Personally I would do a TTD. BD photos isn't really something you could easily frame and display around the house. IT would be more for a "his eyes only" type thing. A TTD could give you more creative wedding shots that you could share with everyone. Plus you could make a book, hang them on your walls, etc. I just think the money would be more well spent. -
I haven't seen a ghost, but I have seen enough weird things to know it's not natural. Plus my aunt lives in a house that is very haunted. She ran into a solid mass while walking through her house in mid-day. She could clearly see nothing was in front of her but she hit it so hard it nearly knocked her down!

Oh shoot...I posted before you fixed it. I think it looks great Tammy. I like how the background color pops, but doesn't distract from the focus on the dog.

I think it looks beautiful but his eyes look a little too red.

1 MOH 2 Flower Girl Suggestions
jajajaja replied to Jen_S's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
I don't think pale yellow will blend with your ivory dress if you still have your heart set on it. I'm not wild about everything in this picture- but just for the visual. The bride still stands out. I would put the MOH in any color you choose and have the FG in a light colored dress (ivory) with a sash to match the MOH. The little girls are so small they won't blend into you. Or even have the FGs half and half like so: snippet & ink: a wedding blog for daily inspiration: January 2008 Here's a blog that has inspirational boards. A bunch have yellow. Good luck! -
I know what you girls are staying but they aren't the only ones not collecting solid evidence- people have been hunting ghosts forever. How come no one has been able to produce some credible footage you know? I mean, I know there are pictures and film clips that show "paranormal" evidence out there, but it's just so hard to know who's doctoring shit and who's not. For all we know- GH could be a bunch of lying dirt bags too. Personally, I believe in the supernatural and the way these guys go about with their searching makes me believe them more than the "psychics" that walk around talking to spirits. At least they attempt to debunk and put on the show of trying to truly find paranormal activity. Sometimes it's a little nice that they don't find something every time. We all know ghosts just don't always pop up and say "here I am" so if some show was always finding ghosts easily, I would be more skeptical.

Silly question???
jajajaja replied to mrspeterson2b's topic in Destination Weddings in Puerto Vallarta & surrounding areas
Did you all see what TA-Lindsay did? She has them board a bus the day of the wedding and had a guest (maybe it was her mom? FMIL?) read a letter from them describing where they were going. It was a complete surprise right up until they began driving to the marina. I think she has a video somewhere.
