  1. Hmmm- we have a boat and if weather cooperates this summer, I hope to be out every weekend soaking up the rays and wakeboarding. Hopefully we can plan a nice camping trip too- we didn't get to last summer. I also plan to read a few books. I read The Other Boleyn Girl while on our wedding/honeymoon vacation and I loved it. Now I'm reading all the other books by the same author.

Now our Boston Terriers, on the other hand, were inside dogs all the way. It really depends on the dog and the situation. Exactly. My grandparents always had sheep dogs- they slept with the sheep and guarded them from predators. They loved the outdoors and when they had to come in for anything, you could see they longed to be back out with their "flock." I think they really enjoyed doing their job. I don't think your a bad mom at all. I personally have inside dogs, but I couldn't imagine anyone would leave their 4 lb dog out at night. I always wanted pets I could bring in the house, so that's more of a reason for us to have our smaller breeds. However, I think you are considerate of your babies so I highly doubt they are being mistreated. You can tell when animals are upset and if yours seem happy, I'm sure they are.
  3. Jac- I must say you are SKINNY. I hope to grow 10 inches and slim down to be just like you.
  4. NO not at all. I think the chocolate version is beautiful. I was just wondering if you did that or if someone else did- or even Carly herself. I don't think I've seen that version- it's gorgeous. I also love how pale pink her flowers looked in those pictures too. You did a great job Mel. Don't doubt your work.

That's what I was going to say Abbie. I heard that somewhere too. I can't test the theory on my (chubby) stomach because I won't let it see the light of day. LOL
  6. I voted to just do tealights. Save some dough- nobody will even notice/remember what was on the tables and the restaurant is beautiful on it's own. Are you having a reception outside at all for dancing, etc? Are you doing a set up for that?
  7. LOL- that picture is just hysterical. I could see her case having some validity if hooters was stupid enough to make some type of flyer with a toyota car on it. If it was just word of mouth, then I don't see her get much else- other than some laughs.
  8. You look beautiful in it! I'm a broken record here, but goodness gracious girl. You are freakin tiny. I don't think I would have a waist that small if I was chopped in half! I think the veil completes the look- but I'm a veil lover.
  9. Beautiful job Mel. Did you photoshop some pics as well? Carly- you and Matt are the cutest couple. You both looked so happy and so in love. Everyone will enjoy viewing the slideshow! I know I did!
  10. Yay! I'm so glad it's on vimeo instead of youtube so I can view it at work. Off to look! I'm so excite because I haven't seen many pics of your wedding Carly! Mel is the BEST!
  11. I've always wanted to do that. Unfortunately Steve doesn't like wine so I can't convince him. It looks beautiful there- gorgeous view. Molly is so cute- I love how she's starting out as a wino at such a young age. I'm glad you had some time to get away. That's always important during the planning process- at least for us it was. An escape from reality otherwise I would have wrung his neck a few more times!
  12. Dude Martha- I think the best thing about being pregnant (well besides the baby- lol) is the ability to eat whatever you want guilt free. I love my big macs- I NEVER EVER eat them anymore though but I would in a heart beat if I woke up weighing 100lbs tomorrow. I think you should definitely give in and eat a damn Big Mac. Just don't do it every day.
  13. Beautiful pics Morgan. You two looked so happy! I love the TTD shots too. Don't worry- I had multiple chins too and I'm a ANTM watcher too. I felt so awkward in front of the camera and I was trying to remember their poses. All I could think was "damn, this modeling thing is hard!" You did a good job though.
  14. Very pretty. Looks great and fits you amazingly.
  15. I loved #1 & #3. Both flatter your figure the most IMO. #1 is perfect if you want a more "classic" dress with a fun twist. #3 is perfect for a romantic, soft flowy look. Overall, I don't think you can go wrong. They all look good. Pick the one that represents YOU the most. Good luck.
  16. I think they are cute. Totally flattering for all body types and re-wearable. I don't think wind will be too much of a factor. I dont really remember any strong winds there like it is on the other side of MX.
  17. LOL- how funny. Maybe I'm famous a la snapfish.
  18. Ok I'm late but I like the new dress. And not to sound like a perv (LOL) I think it makes your boobs look good. That's always a good thing.
  19. Oh I was out of town but now that I've read what you girls have chatted about it sounds like I didn't miss a new one. That's good- we did have our Tivo set so hopefully when we get home I will see for sure. My aunt is still out of town. I may just pop in over there and investigate. LOL
  20. Oh I'm so glad I finally got to see if Ainsleigh arrived. Go figure- the big day comes when I'm away from my computer. She is just adorable Christine. She has the most beautiful lips. Will looks so cute holding her. I'm so glad you both finally had the chance to meet her! What a stubborn little thing huh? Worth the wait I imagine. Congrats to you both! Enjoy!
  21. I voted for the strapless. I think both dresses look good on you but I think the strapless accented your body better. BTW- I cried my eyes out when I saw pictures of me in my dress for the first time. I bought my dress at a shop that didn't allow pictures so when it finally came in 6 months later I got to try it on and take pics. I was horrified when I saw the pics and cried forever. One- the lighting sucks. It's not flattering so don't trust the pictures. Two- those dresses aren't altered to fit you perfectly yet. Don't stress yet! I promise it will look so much better when it's in a softer, natural light and it's altered to fit YOU. I think it looks beautiful right now anyways. Good luck!
  22. Great review. I'm so glad you had a fabulous time! Too bad everyone got sick. Unfortunately you can't predict things like that.
  23. LOL- the title of this thread is hilarious. It had my mind thinking for awhile. LIke did she bend over and OUCHIE- lawsuit for thongs that defectively go too far up your ass? This story is just comical. I mean come on- she's the idiot that caused something to fly off and hit her in the face. Don't blame the thong.
  24. I know- my aunt is out of town right now and DH has been bugging me to have us go over to her house and investigate. I told him I'm not going to do that cause I didn't run it by her first. Had I known they would have been on vacation I would have asked her to let us do it.
