I liked him in past seasons too Carly, but this season it's like he doesn't really get to shine as much with his lame storyline. It's almost like they have so many characters and storylines going on that everyone only gets a little piece of the action. Not complaining though- I think this season (other than the first) is one of the best seasons. So out of 3 seasons, it's top 2. LOL

Or if you read the books and forgot- you don't know what's coming next episode....lol. My hubby doesn't like the Lafeyette scenes and constantly whines. I don't really get the point of that storyline either- other than trying to be "on the cutting edge" and making watercooler talk. It seems like shows add stuff like that just to create some buzz. It doesn't bother me, but it feels like a forced storyline and I don't like that!

I agree with Lucy- don't email her about the wedding and just send a personal one. Let her know how you feel and how you would like to get together and chat it out. I'd give her the benefit of the doubt- sounds like she has been really unsupportive, but is it unusual for her? Normally has she been a really good sister? But one tiny thing in her defense- we declined a lot of plans with people when we had our puppy (lol- it sounds like I birthed one!) We didn't like leaving him caged up and they have to go to the bathroom a lot so 1 hour each way drive time is 2 hrs plus however long you want to visit. It's hard to plan that with a puppy- at least IMO. I don't even know how it would be if you added kids in the mix. HOWEVER- she still could have been supportive!

Very sad. I hate to see relationships fall apart, but sometimes it has to happen if the other person is making you really miserable. Life is too short to surround yourself with negative people. It's too bad your sister can't see what she's doing. I'm really shocked that she didn't react to being uninvited. If I was guilty of being a bitch to my sister and she called me out and uninvited me, I think I would first be really pissed- like how dare she? and call her out back for telling me not to come. But in the back of my mind, I'd have to know I was being a hag and she called me on it. Then I think I would be sad once it all settled and really hurt that it came to that point. I'd want to talk it out. If I wasn't guilty, I'd probably call her crazy and let her suffer. However, either way I really think at some point I'd want to patch things up. Obviously your sister probably doesn't think like me, but I'm just trying to think how I'd react if this happened between my sister and I- whos the little one by the way. My sister lives wtih my hubby and me and had plans of moving out after she graduated from college- which she did last month. She's been really weird, distant and bitchy lately. I've just been ignoring her because she's been so up and down mood wise that I never know which one will appear. Right now I can't really stand being around her, BUT I put that all aside and be awesome for her graduation party. I helped get all the food ready, bought her a nice gift and acted like nothing was wrong between us. I knew it was important for her. But now that it's done and she's back to being bitchy, we just ignore each other again. LOL So long story short- your sister sucks hardcore and even if she might have a reason in her head why she's annoyed with you, she needs to be a bigger person and put it aside for a really important event. They only come once so who wants to miss out on something like that and think back 20 years later like "where was I? OH that's right- we were fighting and I was being a stubborn bitch." That's not a good memory.

About 95% of the guests that went to our wedding still don't know it wasn't "legal." But honestly, your mom is that upset about a peice of paper? It's not like you guys are having a symbolic wedding with no intent on making it legal. I'd seriously ask her that- so marriage is a peice of paper to you? I'm curious how she'd respond. ETA- oh and for symbolic weddings you still sign a certificate and have your witnesses sign. No one knows it's not legally binding!

oh ya- that whole scene was just freaky and gross. I don't like blood and gore stuff so I had to turn my head a bunch last night. Especially when Lorena pulled out a scapel. I knew nothing good could come out of that.

Last nights episode was intense and probably the most graphic to date. Holy crap- Quentin Tarantino work on this one? Eric was looking pretty hot standing next to the king at one point. The king must be a tiny man, but it made Eric look huge!

Why did my karma go down?
jajajaja replied to DWBride615's topic in Bugs, issues or "how to" navigate forum questions.
my karma constantly fluctuates. I dunno why. We have tried to figure that one out in the past, but not sure how it's rewarded or taken away. -

You could lose a few of my B2B rants.... lol! -
Are you kidding me? That's not loser-ish at all. I hope to have a weekend just like the last one- in the backyard, laying out with a book and several cold ones. Enjoy!

LOL cute story. Our poor guys do the best they can and I'm sure it's sooo nerve wrecking. -
What's something you saw at a wedding that made you swear...
jajajaja replied to yamille's topic in Random Thoughts
This is really awfully mean but I'm going to say it anyways- it looks like she decided to dress up as a bride for Halloween. GOING.TO.HELL And I'm dying over the garter retrieval. -
I enjoyed Water for Elephants- totally beyond my normal reads so it was a nice change. Sometimes I get sick of reading the same type of books over and over. Eat, Pray, Love- I'm surprised it's going to be a movie and I was intrigued by that thought. Here's my honest opinion- maybe I'm not a very deep person or not analytical enough (which is bullshit cause I am....lol!), but I didn't get past Eat. When I eat, I devour and go yep, that was good. I'm not a palette washer- roll it around in your mouth- eater. Not that's what it's about, but I don't think about food in that regard. So once she got to spirituality and started to dig into that deeply, I was like ok, moving on. I know lots of people that really love the book though! LOL So long story short, I hope you enjoy it. Ok, I gotta few books to add to my list. I hope I can start contributing back now that I have a grad school break and I can read for fun again!

Chicago- what's your name? I feel weird calling you that. LOL Yes, you will send all your inspiration pics. I'd advise to keep them all in some kind of working document and then a few months out send it at once. I sent things early, then would change my mind and a few wires ended up crossed. My fault- but flowers were one of those things that didn't go right. However, I still had the best wedding!

Here's ours- they were starting to get really wilty and beat up at this point. Not sure what the girls were doing with them but petals kept falling off! LOL Too much excitement. The guys had mini calla lillies. The placement looks kinda weird on a shirt, but I didn't really know that til after the fact. But eh- whatever. I also had bouts for moms and grandparents: I wish I had a better pic but they had a rose with some extra greenery. Same price for all.

I like Jose too, but every time he does a solo I can't help but not really like his work. Dominic had mentioned that Jose's technique is different because it's more floor work while he's more up in the air flying around. Well to my untrained eye, Dominic's looks impressive and I think Jose looks like a drunk B-boy rolling around. LOL Steve thinks I'm crazy and he's totally impressed with what Jose can do, but I sometimes look at the things he does and think "I can do that." Mind you- I can't, but sometimes I live in a fantasy world where I think I can do everything. However, I think he's such a sweet guy and totally humble and willing to learn and soak it all in. So personality wise, I think he's adorable! Unlike Billy who is cheating the system. I can't stand wimps and people who don't give their all. It's just not acceptable to me and I can't believe the show supports that either!
-
Oh we were soooo pissed last night. I was even more livid when Nigel said Billy was cleared to dance but didn't!! WHat a pansy ass! He deserves to go home. Everyone there has massive heart and that just shows me that he's trying the easy route and doesn't have the heart in it like everyone else. THat decision last night was an insult to all those who have gone home with legit injuries and to all the dancers that have worked their asses off week after week. I'm sure they would ALL enjoy a week break Billy! You can tell that no one was happy. I found the cast interaction after the announcement interesting. They kind of ignored Billy and he kept trying to jump in and get involved in all their excitement but you could see they were totally snubbing him- except Lauren because she's awesome. I have to admit I really like Kent too. But I want Lauren to win!

I didn't think they were too expensive- $30 Bm and $10 bouts? I could be way off, but at least that's what I think I remember. LOL Are you having a lot of BMs? Nessa- it has to be a package difference. Have a lot of people really gone to see the show? I don't think a lot of brides here have, but then again most have had the premier package I think. It seems like there would not be enough time to do wedding related stuff- do you have a timeline?

Wow! What an interesting development. Congrats on your growth Tammy. This site has been so great and I'm so thankful a google search led me here back in 2007! Can't wait to see the new site. The changes sound awesome and I love the idea of user reviews all bundled up under vendors! So helpful. I've been wondering where you were. Busy bee! -
We tipped Brad $50 I believe. We tipped the WC a $100 or $150- I think. I wrote all of this somewhere but I can't remember where. We didn't tip the photog because you are paying their services directly. Kelley is getting paid her salary however LC negotiates that with her, so a tip is a personal thank you. I don't think of it the same way as hiring someone that you pay directly vs. paying the company. The tip added is for the guys that work the dinner- waiters, the set up crew and even the boat operators I believe. I do know that it's not for the WC! And if you hadn't planned on it already, you better add the fire dancers and let FI know about that all at once too! LMAO!
