  1. If you don't have a lot of family pictures, you may want to consider doing them. I have NO pictures of my family together- maybe a few candids from Christmas but never professional photos. I love the ones we have and I know I will cherish them even more years from now. You def don't have to look uncomfortable in the pics. Plus it didn't take long either- maybe 15 mins?
  2. I knew it! Why leave Heff for Criss Angel? Gross. And how does he always get hot chicks? I don't get his appeal. Anyways, I liked the Girls Next Door. Sad that the little trio is broken up (even though Kendra was annoying- but she was fun to laugh at.)
  3. haha I wish we didn't. It's a PIA.
  4. We talked about that one yesterday, but then we thought that some of them might not like that- I could see a few not wanting to be touched. haha, it's so hard. I've suggested trying to personalize the gifts but they want to keep it the same for everyone. Mostly because we like some more than others- obviously. And I think it would be kinda easy to see who we knew better too. I chit chat with a few of the execs all the time (ie- non work talk) and other's I only talk work with.
  5. Do you have a picture with you with short, red hair? Just curious to see....

It's hard though cause it's a male/female team, so we try to find something that's somewhat unisex. Last year, we gave them all beautiful plants for their offices (which we end up watering to keep alive!) because the office were new and kinda dull. They also got food baskets- chocolate, cheese, etc that we kept in a common area so they could take what they liked. Our budget has been cut severly too so it's kinda hard.
  8. As a member of the short hair community, I will say- yes, it's not easy to put your hair in a pony tail, but I think it's easier to do my hair. It dries faster and it's easy to straighten or just to wear curly. Depends on the person I suppose. With long hair, I always put my hair in a pony tail towards the end of the day. It was kinda annoying for me- like why have long hair but not enjoy it right? So having short hair ensures I just leave it as is.
  9. Sooo boss's day is right around the corner- Oct. 16. I'm trying to figure out what to do for my boss, but it's so hard. Anyone buying their boss's a gift? If so, what?
  10. I live and die by the razor- I'm on the opposite spectrum though. My hair is really thick and without a good razoring it ends up totally poofy and librarian-ish. (no offense to librarians.) I think doing some less chunky bangs would be a good start. You could still pin them back if you don't like it or just to shake up your look every once and awhile.
  11. That's terrible. I really hope it's just some ice cream party to show thanks. But on the flip side and to remain positive, everything happens for a reason. It may be a way to get you into a new job that has better perks.
  12. haha I wanted the Katie cut too (I posted that same pic) and I got an overwhelming "DON'T DO ITTTT!" response. You may have better luck- but I think it's adorable. I really do like Jenny's hair too. I think that would look great on you- same hair coloring.

Sorry- we didn't eat at PePe's although I have read that it has good food. You may try searching the PV restaurant thread- I think I saw a bit in there. I can't remember though. As for Fajita Republic, I loved it. I thought the atmosphere was great- it is an open air restaurant with fabulous lighting (as I posted pics of). I definitely would have had our WD there had we knew more. I tried to contact them early on when we were planning, but I don't think they get their emails. I never tried to call. Either way, I wish I would have taken our small party there and just picked up the bill for whatever they ordered. IT would have been cheaper for us. Quote: Originally Posted by jweekley Hey ladies. We know that we want the sunset ceremony and reception with a band/DJ/whatever at Caletas. I'm just so unsure of the guest list you know? We had a very small party (18 if you don't count us- 2 people didn't make it to the ceremony since they got lost in the marina.) and we had the biggest package. I totally think it worked and would do it again in a heart beat.
  14. Cute. Love the wigs. I love that everyone had a totally different style on. How funny.
  15. Ohhh it's so cute Lisa. Luke will totally love it (I can't imagine him wanting to change at age 18 either! ) You guys put so much hard work and love in the room. I bet you can't wait to bring the baby home.
  16. Why would Audrinna even suspect? Doesn't she watch her own show? LC isn't exactly "friendly" with Justin Bobby.
  17. I love the ones you bought. I'm with you though- if I wear earrings, i usually just wear some type of bangle and if I wear a necklace, I usually just wear some studs. I dont like to have both necklace and earring thing going on. Just me though.
  18. Congrats Erica. This has been a long planning huh? It looks sooooo perfect. I cant wait to see it all come together. So exciting. Love the bling and love ALL the details. Congrats.
  19. Erica, I used to have them REALLY bad when I was younger. I wasn't in a conscious state though when I "woke" like your daughter seems to be. My mom said I used to act like I was possessed. I would scream, cry and my eyes would roll around in my head. It was terrifying for her. It got to the point where my father (who's Catholic) even called a priest in to bless me and hung crusifixes all over my room. I think I finally stopped around 8-9 years old but I don't think they started as early as your daughters. My mom took me to a child psychologist. They said kids under a severe amount of stress sometimes have night terrors. It's their bodies way of relieving pent up stress and emotions. I had a pretty chaotic childhood and they eventually went away after my parents divorced. Go figure.
  20. Jaime- I'm terrible with directions but I know it was just a few blocks up from the malecon. We took the bus there (from Barcelo) and it was near the bus stop. I heard it moved though- I cant remember where I got that info, but it didn't move far from where we ate. I think the people that own Vista Grill own Fajita Republic too. (At least I think it's Vista Grill- when we dined at FR they gave us coupons for Vista Grill and it said something about owning both places). I have pics of the cute little lights- let me post them. Here's what they look like when it's dark (with a crappy camera of course) This is their table set up- they just use paper- it's kinda cool and totally laid back. Steve and I loved the food we ate their like 3 times during our 2 week stay (and we were at an AI!) Celina (FutureMrsE?- I think) is having her WD there. She posted something about it in the PV restaurant thread.
  21. This story is crazy. How did a seven year old jump a fence at a zoo? Too bad the story doesn't have more details cause I can't wrap my brain around it.
  22. Ohhh he's adorable. Congrats on the new baby.
  23. haha or how much of it won't even require SNL to rewrite what was said to make it comedy.
  24. I say you just go do it yourself. They lost their right to an opinion....
