Business Cards & More at PrintsMadeEasy.com My invitations were priced individually at $4 each set and I totally love them, good quality, and very fast. I kept changing designs and fonts and got to see like 5 proofs before I chose the final one. I do calligraphy so I did my own on the envelopes. The White Aisle : Unique Wedding Favors and Invitations I wouldn't spend too much for something most people throw away, but if you're big on having the best of things it may be worth it to you. My co-worker spent $12 per invitation and they were amazingly beautiful - it still ended up in the trash can though I've been searching for invitations for months and couldn't find any I quite liked (for a price that agreed with me as well.) Whiteasile.com is awesome. Thanks for that tip. My sister might be thanking you too because she is up to her ears with DIY projects!

My mom was voting for Dreams all the way because she LOVES Dreams. I knew my parents were biased so I figured they weren't much help in the decision process. Dazzling Details was too expensive. Marilu made me have a migraine. LeKliff was gorgeous, but FI didn't like the "fancy" food menu. Las Caletas was an adventure. It would provide not only a romantic ceremony to say our I do's, but it would be unforgettable for our guests. It was PERFECT! Plus their website spells out all the costs and details upfront so you don't have to wait weeks hoping the WC answers the questions you asked. I haven't been there yet, but I reserached it for weeks before just booking it. I just wanted an official date. I knew it was the place.

I was worried about being a bridezilla, so I booked it then said "Contact me when you want to hash out the rest of the details." I didn't know if I was being a little crazed since all of the other WC took WEEKS to respond...It's not me. It's them, right? haha
  4. Did Nicole give you a list of photographers that Las Caletas uses? I was looking into booking another photographer, but now I'm having second thoughts. I never thought to ask her for the list of photographers that Las Caletas uses for their packages. Also, I'd like to think everyone for their help thus far. Truly appreciated! Marla sent me a ton of emails, and they had a bunch of information that she had compiled from some of you as well. So THANK YOU!
  5. How many people did you invite? We only invited 35. I honestly don't think more than 20 will go. I looked at the deluxe package and wanted it badly, but my mom thought I was being impractical and talked me out it. I just feared that we wouldn't have enough people to make the deluxe worth the money. BUT now with the sharing of food- I dunno. And alcohol? Is that shared as well? I should have asked more questions, but I didn't think of them. Where was this site?!
  6. I knew you shared the boat and that wasn't a huge issue for us. But sharing the food- well that kinda is for me. Guess I'll just have to email Nicole a quick list of questions...oops, poor thing.
  7. Have most of the brides that have been married (or to be married-yah) at Las Caletas choosen the deluxe package? Or has anyone selected the intimate package? We are having a small, intimate wedding (mostly because I have restricted my mom from inviting everyone...I mean, if I haven't seen them in 10 years, I don't need them to go. That's another story..) I love the idea of having the deluxe package, but I just don't know if it would be practical for 25 guests (or maybe less...everyone seems enthusiastic now.) I just want my family and CLOSE friends there, but a HUGE party. I read about sharing the buffet line in another post. That freaks me out a little. Is that true? If so, I may have to seek an upgrade if possible.
  8. I had contacted Kristin early on, but unfortunately, I found the wedding more than my budget could handle. I decided on Las Caletas instead. Beautiful weddings though, but I felt Las Caletas does have beautiful, unique weddings as well. Here's her response when I asked her if she had any other reduced packages: "The package that I sent you is the most economic we can handle while still making things beautiful and unique for you. I understand that hotel packages are not acceptable to you; hiring outside companies does increase quality and uniqueness, but also has its related cost - setup/clean up staff, linens, furniture, equipment, candles, floral (even minimal), detailed items, etc. all add to this cost. Our typical designed wedding has an average cost of $250-300 US/guest and I designed this package especially for you as I really want to be able to help! I dont believe that taking your celebration elsewhere will decrease costs unfortunately as most restaurants/hotels offer elevated food/beverage costs, other locations will include a rental fee of anywhere from $1000-3000 USD and private catering services will run from $100-$300/head. " I hope that could be of help to you.
  9. Hello! I'm a new Las Caletas Bride. My wedding date is March 27, 2008 with still TONS of planning to do. However, I have spent the past few hours reading all the links in the forum. I have a feeling I will be depending on you ladies in the next few months to come and asking TONS of questions. How exciting to see all the pictures of actual weddings! I can't wait for more.
  10. Hello everyone, I'm Rachel. My wedding date is March 27, 2008 in Las Caletas, PV. I am so thrilled to find this site! I thought I would have been researching and seeking out information all alone. Apparently not!! So thank you to the creators. Quite ingenious.
