  1. Matt- that was an amazing video. Thanks for sharing! TTD looks so much fun!
  2. I love your programs. Very cute. Also, the tissue is very creative. I like it. Nice job Christine!
  3. Cute version. I've also heard of everyone holding a stone throughout the ceremony and "bless" it with their love. At the end of the ceremony, the guests put the stones in a vase so that the couple can take their blessings home.
  4. paper parasols: Paper Umbrellas Colored Silk parasols: Silk Parasols Here's the parasols I found on asianideas.com
  5. Beautiful pics Jamy. I believe you said earlier your photog was Roberto right? So exciting to see all the pics!
  6. WOW! Absolutely gorgeous. Thank you so much for sharing. Leigh- you are very gifted. You capture raw emotion so perfectly. I teared up. Ann- You will have the bluest eyed children. Your (and Paul's) eyes are gorgeous. So many striking shots where they just shined. You must be so happy. This was amazing.
  7. Thanks for taking the time to do a review Jamy. I'm so glad you had a marvelous time. Las Caletas just keeps getting better and better! Congrats....again!
  8. I want to walk down the isle to "Bittersweet Symphony" in the instrumental version. It took me forever to find this! I don't know if I watched Cruel Intentions to many times with Ryan coming up the escalator to this song, but it gives me goose bumps every time I hear the drama of the strings. I plan on having "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" for my wedding party- sorry his name is too long to remember, so the 50 First Dates version. FI wants his own song to be "Walk It Out." He watched Stomp the Yard too many times. I haven't taken him seriously on this request, but he keeps singing it with a little dance. Now I'm beginning to wonder....is he for real?
  9. Gorgeous and so natural! I'm hoping I can get ONE photo from my wedding day to look like these. Absolutely amazing!
  10. haha...I love the spreadsheet. Congrats Melissa. I hope you have a beautiful wedding (not that Las Caletas can really disappoint right?) Come back and spoil us with pictures!!!
  11. I can't wait for more pics. BUT it makes it so impossible to leave this site. I have other things to do (umm..find a dress, photographer, finish my website, find a hotel...you get the picture), but no! I just sit and look at pictures all day. Thanks for sharing Tammy! I loved the wind blowing your dress. It was like a blissful summer's day. Loved it.

I'd love to print our own but I'm not totally tech savy. I did it in Word format because I started it at work then finished it home. I'm not that savy either, but I won't lie. I did argue with the printer for awhile. For whatever reason, it disagreed with me, but we worked it out. I'll be happy to send you what I have.

My boss LOVED them and proceeded to take it around the office and show everyone. I kinda felt bad because we only invited a select few of our coworkers, but I think they weren't thinking they should be invited- it was only my own guilt. This is the hard part about weddings- You want to invite all, but you can't. BUT everyone I gave them to thought it really clever and seemed excited about the wedding. This is exactly the reaction I wanted- get everyone excited which encourages them to go!
  14. Great review Ann. I'm actually late for work reading it! OOPS! I can't wait to see the pictures. So exciting. Congrats to you and Paul. BTW- I am interested in your video information. Let me know how it turns out. This is one area I'm still trying to work out. Thanks!
  15. I know I'm late, but I just wanted to say sexy dress Toby. I can't wait to see the finished look of the veil and dress combo. It's unique. Love it!

I went there last weekend and they were $.99 each and I went back this weekend and found them (and a whole bunch of other votives) 50% off. I didn't think- I just bought!
  18. I found these at Michaels for $.50 each. They also had the same votives in teal and a couple other colors, but my memory is failing.
  19. So cute. How did you make the tag? I plan on ordering fans eventually, but that's a ways down the road for me.
  20. Now that title sounds funny. I had a hard time finding a STD that I liked because I wanted something personal and not too formal. That's just the kind of people we are. So I decided to DIY. Here's what I concocted. Finished product-front Finished product-back I wanted a postcard, so I designed this one myself and printed it off. Designed the back and simply printed on the backside of my 4x6 photo paper. I did have to test several different brands to make sure that the ink didn't bleed when printed on the back. I loved taking the picture for this. We ordered a 48oz margarita that was so good. I decided that the postcard was not elaborate enough, so I found some cheap shells at Michaels. They had a bundle of 48 on sell for under $2. I have also seen these bundles sold in the Dollar Store. For the shell on the right, I simply hot glued the magnet to the back. For the clams, I had to find a way to stabilize it's weight so it would hang on a fridge. I did this.... The Dollar Store had tiny little popsicle sticks on sale. There was probably 100 in the bag, but I only used maybe 10. I cut the popsicle to the desired length for the clam, glued it, then glued the magnet on the back. We are going to hand deliver most of the STD since it's close friends and family. We don't have to worry about mailing them, so I found these bags and tags at Michaels. I also picked up the little "Fiesta" rubber stamp for $1 because I thought the margarita was appropriate for our STD. It looks cute hanging on our fridge, but now that I created these I have the self-doubt. Are these too cheesy? Ahhh.....I double think EVERY decision I make.
  21. Good question Laura. When trying on dresses, do they always plop some hideous veil on your head? Honestly, it gives you no idea on how the thing is really suppose to look. I'm clueless on the veil as well. But I got time to work it out...fortunately. 3 weeks...that's exciting.
  22. I love shoes too, but I would trip walking on the beach with anything other than a flip flop. I'd prefer something like these over a flip flop. I'd kill for a some sexy heels though, but unfortunately, the beach wins! On a bright note- these are less expensive than any shoe I would pick out as well!
  23. Cutest story. You must marry that man! haha I love when guys are randomly sweet and thoughtful. Makes the heart pitter patter a little bit harder and keeps the love fresh. Congrats on finding THE ring.
  24. foot jewelry and anklets : Sprays of Pearls Footlace - FL901 I love this one. It isn't as expensive as the others I have found...only $25. But Natasha made a good point and this one looks like it would snag. Might be good for brides with tea-length dresses.
