  1. I haven't decided what to do with my hair either, but I'm thinking half up curly. Greek goddess seem to always have their hair the same way. Curly is a must! Every photo I have liked I put it in this word document. I attached it so you could see several photos that I think would look good with your dress as well. Good luck! Beautiful dress too. I said it before, but I'll say it again. Hair Ideas 1.doc
  2. Wow Heidi. You need to hurry up and marry that man! Too sweet. It's obvious he completely love and adores you. Lucky girl.
  3. And to further add, Amy you are the hub of knowledge! You always know everything!

  5. Your dress is gorgeous. You are going to be such a beautiful bride. I can't wait to see pics.
  6. Dress shopping was hard. Especially since a lot of the dresses I thought looked great on the hanger looked horrible on me. I agree with Jen. What type of dress are you looking for? Maybe you have a designer you like. Find a store that carries them and start there. I loved Maggie dresses so that's what I did. I went to a store that had a lot of Maggie dresses and it was really easy after that. I still haven't technically had my dress on. I saw it online, fell in love and tried on similiar dresses before I ordered it. I couldn't find anything I loved more, so I ordered the dress I saw online. It should be here soon so I can't wait to finally try it on! Good luck. Just be patient. It's not the worst thing you will have to go through. Kids & labor come next. lol

The three weddings we attend this summer- all had the bride and groom in full view of the guests taking pictures. They even went around and talked to guests prior to the wedding. I thought it was really anti-climatic when you first got a viewing of the bride. Normally, everyone waits for her to arrive and then gasps at how beautiful she looks and how great the dress is, etc. After attending 3 weddings like that this summer, I was seriously wondering if the new "trend" is to mingle with guests pre-ceremony. I thought it was a real downer. Therefore, I will stay hidden away. FI and I will probably see each other before, but I don't want all the guests in on the action.

  10. Thank goodness they didn't get stolen. Very cute and fun! I definitely would not have wedding gifts go to your house. Or if you did, I'd do a sting operation. Set up a camera on delivery day and bust that bandit for good!
  11. Wow I would like to think I wouldn't have paid her, but I'm a wimp when it comes to battling poor customer service. I would have meakly paid then freaked out in the car. That totally sucks. Who says "you never asked" in response to "you never told me?" Weak. Very weak. Were you suppose to whip out your crystal ball and predict you were going to be overcharged by her? I would seriously write them a letter. That way you don't have to freak out, and you can take time to do it whenever you have a free moment and still express your frustration. If they want to keep good business, then they might consider responding to you.
  12. These are great! And inspiration to get back to the gym. *Must*Go*Run*NOW!
  13. Aww...Heidi you almost made me cry. This forum is truly filled with remarkable, generous people. It's nice to see that in a world that isn't always so kind. I hope you and Reggie can take some time to relax. You deserve a break from it all.
  14. Search Results - DyeableShoeStore.com Toby had suggested this to me, so I'll suggest it to you. Here's some dyeable wedges. Some are really cute! I plan on making mine orange or pink. I like a little bit of sass.
  15. Emailed them both. I haven't heard from him yet. Thanks again! I'm determined to have a Welcome Dinner!
  16. Wow. There really are some weird people. I agree with everyone else. Get ahold of her and see what she would like to do. Just say you are getting numbers and touching base with everyone so you know what it will cost. I wonder if she booked into a group travel to get a good deal on a vacation. Did she get one?

I have looked into other PV hotels, but so far all my guests are staying there so I thought it would be convenient to do it there!
  18. I don't think with DW it really matters what day you choose. Most people are taking time off from work to attend. Mine's on a Thurs. Most of our guests are staying 5+ days.

  20. I don't know what your price point is but how cute are these for a little bit of unexpected? $125 on Zappos.

Toby, LOVE THOSE! I want them for myself but I'm thinking I need a wedge though. Is your ceremony/reception on sand? If so, maybe I can do it to. If you can, I can right?!

  23. What was the cost they got them at last time? I would love to do this idea. I just need to figure out how many I need. ONE MORE THING TO DO!! Agh... I agree. That 6 months post was scary because I'm at 5 and have very little done. I know my FI and I will be there. We did get our stay arranged. Yippee for simplicity!
