I can't wait to hear about your appointment. I wanted to do this for my dogs but FI thought I was crazy. I don't have any immediate issues but just thought it was cool sounding. I would love to be able to communicate more effectively like them. Like damnit- these are good shoes. Respect them.

We are tracked too but my director hasn't done a report- thank goodness. I would be so embarrassed. I pride myself on being a good employee, but am I really? I'm on here all the time. At least my work isn't affected. We are a big company too so I don't think our little techies have found my habit. I hope they never do!

My Random, Funny New Years... *updated with pics*
jajajaja replied to MsShelley's topic in Just venting or funnies
haha. I have had some totally random nights as well. Im my college years, I used to find them frequently. They don't have appropriate stripper clothing on though. A few years ago, I could have totally saw myself learning how to pole dance with them had I been under the influence. haha But I can't say I would be crazy enough to have a pole installed in my living room. -
Crap! Is Pepsi One bad too?! I thought I was being good with one calorie. Good job though Jen. Any addiction is troubling! I need to stop biting my nails asap. Such a gross habit but it's so HARD- it's totally a nervous/bored habit.

I want a knee-length dress. Help!
jajajaja replied to LeeN's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
I'm 5'0 and I looked silly in them too. You would think shorter looks better. David's bridal has a dress that isn't as full and might not make you look as "stumpy." I tried to find it really quick but couldn't. A few girls on the forum have worn it and it's super cute. It's shorter in the front, but a little longer in the back. It's a lace one. I wish I could find it- maybe they don't have it anymore? As for the sand, I wouldn't worry about it. Girls say it gets clean afterwards. I haven't really seen a clean gown after a non-beach wedding. It's white, it drags on the ground, so it's bound to get dirty. Do what pleases you. There are some cute short dresses too. Look at Nordstrom. -
I can't watch the video since I'm at work, but I bet this could happen at a lot of shipping docks. I had to go pick up a package one time at one (I think it was UPS). I walked into the warehouse and no body was around. I stood there for a little while- and all these boxes were moving on conveyors and just sitting around. Someone then came after like 5 mins. I totally could see how someone could just walk in and grab something then leave.

I can't say for sure but it seems like any type of LIVE entertainment is high. In Puerto Vallarta, a trio is around that price and they have like a 2 or 3 hour minimum. I wanted a steel band...even though I'm in Mexico. I couldn't find one unfortunately. It's just so cheery sounding. Mariachi music kinda drives me batty. I totally would have a steel band play if I were you. That would be so awesome! On a cruise the band let me try my hand at one and it's so fun.

Gorgeous and intimate. They are so beautiful. Wow, I just love the color of the ocean too. -
Cali Teaser Photos for you!

Love your dress! Very pretty. Lots of kissing I see. You too look so happy. Did you all do a TTD? The grooms pants are wet up to his knees! -
Moms will be moms. I bet my future daughter will want to gag me and tie me up in the basement too. She only does it because she wants the best for you. Unfortunately she thinks her sense of taste is the best. For people that are deemed control freaks (i.e. me- haha), less knowledge is better. If she doesn't have a choice in the options, maybe her voice won't be so opinionated. I would only keep her involved in the important stuff, like dress shopping. I think all other details you probably would have covered. I think you should not do a print dress with those shirts. I think it looks best to create one cohesive look with your wedding party and if you have all these different designs going on, it might not look clean.

Hair - Dress - Tiara
jajajaja replied to LeXiee's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
I like number one because I think the detailing really matches your dress. #2 and #3 are gorgeous too. I like their simplicity. I like to purchase things to reuse, so I think these would be a great choice because you could later wear them with a cocktail dress. #1 might be too much for a cocktail dress. But for WEDDING purposes only, I think #1 is the best. Great choice. -

I would try david's bridal then. They probably would be the fastest turn around time. I think they told me 3 months. It took 6 months to order my dress. You wouldn't have enough time from a smaller shop. Have you looked at dept stores like Macys or Nordstrom? I bought a dress to wear in case I get too hot at the reception at Macys and I think it would be a very pretty, casual dress for the ceremony. I can try to find it to post. There were a ton of cocktail dresses too. You may be able to find one in white or another light color. -
I want to get a nice khaki shirt for my dad too. He's going to be wearing dark brown pants to match the GM but I wanted him in a different shirt. Just so everyone doesn't think he's a GM. I can't find the shirts you posted on their website. I thought this might be a good option for him, but I'm having issues locating them. Personally, I think it would be nice to have your dads where something. What are your other colors? I would maybe consider something different than what the GMs are wearing.

Airport/Taxi's/Customs
jajajaja replied to chrisnessa's topic in Destination Weddings in Puerto Vallarta & surrounding areas
YAH! This means another LC wedding is soon. You have already left but GOOD LUCK!! As for the timeshare people, I feel like I have to do the ignore and walk straight ahead in malls these days. I don't know about everyone else, but there are some of those independent little stands in the walkways. Those people hassle you to death. I've learned to just not make eye contact. I guess they are just training me on how to deal with the time share struggle. -
Your dress is beautiful! I think a intricate veil would distract from the detailing in your dress. I think a veil would look gorgeous, but I would opt for a more soft, no detail one. With a plain veil, I don't know why you couldn't do the flower veil combo. My dress has a TON of beading and details. I orginally fell in love with the lace veils (before I picked my dress) but I don't want my veil to distract from my dress. I spent too much time picking it out and agonizing over my choices for that! haha.

I think black would look great. I love the pic you posted as inspiration. I love black anyways and it looks really good on everyone. My colors are hot pink and orange and the colors did not look good on my pale BMs. I decided to use brown as well so they will be wearing brown dresses. For what to have the groomsmen wear, why not a black linen pant with a white linen shirt? My guys are wearing brown linen/cotton blend pants with a white linen shirt that has a brown embroidered design on the front. They look formal enough next to the girls. (I made them try them on together. haha) What are your colors besides black? Someone did a really pretty table design with hot pink and black.

He is such a cutie! I'm such a clueless one, but aren't they normally all red? That has to be the cutest first baby pic I have ever seen. Congrats! I hope you can find time to rest. Let daddy get some practice changing the diapers.

Beautiful siggy Jay Reilly! Have you looked through both photogs portfolio? I hated choosing the photog (no offense to anyone.) It was just a really tough decision because I knew nothing about it! I just based my decision off who's photos seemed to capture the spirit of the wedding more. If they looked cold and calculated then I didn't want those. I too am dreading the "posing" pictures, but my photogs portfolio seemed to capture more "in the moment" type shots. I don't know who Tomas Barron is but Bradley has taken some gorgeous photos (from what's been posted on the forum.) I'm sure you will make the right choice. I bet both are great.

I Finally Tried On Dresses!
jajajaja replied to trisha0612's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
I love the first one. It looks like it was made for you. The last one looked great too, but it doesn't look as "bridal" to me even though it's all white. I would love to see your favorite though so better take some pics quick! -
I love to plan events too. I've helped a few cousins with their local weddings so I know where you are coming from. Tons of cute ideas on here for ANY wedding. Good luck.

Which Bridesmaid Dress?
jajajaja replied to DanielleNDerek's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
I chose #1. I looks like it would be the most flattering on different body types. I've been a bridesmaid before stuck in a dress that looked good on everyone else but me. I spent the whole time totally self conscious. Haha nice little tangent, but I guess I always vote for the dresses that would be the most flattering on all. I love the black and pink look. If your afraid they will photograph red, just take a digital camera with you when looking at the dresses. If they turn out more "red" looking then reconsider your choice.
