I must admit I'm one of those douche bags that show up sick. I don't know if I was programmed to be anal retentive, but I feel horrible when I call in sick. Even when I'm really sick. I just feel so guilty, like I'm a horrible employee. Anyways, sorry you got sick. I'll try to keep you in mind next time I have the urge to drag my butt into work when I have a cold. You can't call in sick tomorrow? What's the repercussions of that?

How beautiful! I saw a wedding on TV in an aquarium and it was just gorgeous. I haven't been to the Shark Reef although I have walked that long hallway to look at the chapel. My family did go and had a nice time.

I would definitely try it on if I were you. You paid so much for it to be the nicest dress you will ever wear. Why not make sure it's perfect? Plus why wouldn't the store want to make sure they did it right? That's crappy business. Don't stress though. I'm sure everything will turn out perfect.

One time my FI left me in a jewelry store to go across the hall to a bathroom. He was gone forever and this lady was helping me look at rings for him. I was like "Um...I think he will be back soon." Finally, the lady gave up and went and helped other customers. Then I was standing there kinda miffed that he didn't tell me it would be a LONG visit to the bathroom. I was thinking tinkle time. So I leave the store and there he is at one of the booths that sell the aromatherapy hot packs. He had one on his shoulders, one strapped around his back and one he was holding in his hands. He just looked absolutely ridiculous. When he saw me, he gave me the "help me" eyes. I just rolled my eyes and walked over there. The lady grabs one and tosses it on my shoulders and I'm like "Um...no, sorry we are leaving." Then we proceeded to unstrap the damn things from my FI. He was like "She wouldn't let me leave!" Wow, is he too nice!

OMG I forgot about these. I remember staying there when I was like 16 and they baked fresh cookies in their continental breakfast room. I didn't realize there was an official recipe.

I ordered this maggie sottero dress in light gold. I love the color. It's so soft and shimmery. White did not look that good on me. I definitely think you can get a nice ivory or champagne colored dress. Most dress shops have swatches....at least the ones I went to did.

Well I guess I'm not that bad off. We had restricted sites like youtube or myspace, but today was the first day I started to notice a MAJOR blocking of different sites. Even some of my buddies called to tell me they got blocked from Steve Madden. But now I just tried maggie sottero again and I can go there. Very weird.

How do you suppose people goofed off at work before the internet? That I would like to know because if things start getting blocked, I'm going to need to find a way to fill up my 8 hrs. That way I don't feel so crappy paying my student loan every month.

I think my work may be trying to crack down on internet usage and I'm getting VERY scared. I just tried going to maggie sottero's website to reply to a thread, but once I tried searching for a particular dress, the screen came up telling me that I was breaking corporate policy and the site is now denied. What will I do all day if this site gets blocked? I surf the internet all day too and now my day is starting to look pretty bleak. Anyone know about programs like this? It seems like it denies pages after I try to do a search on a website or something.

Thanks Tami! I think I may get my dad one of these. He totally loves his Hawaiian shirts but I'm a brat and won't let him wear one to walk me down the isle. This will be a nice compromise. I would comment on the other shirts that you are considering but for whatever reason, that website has now become blocked by my work. Very weird. I hope they don't find the forum next.

Thanks for the reminder Liz. Ok this was the dress I was talking about. I didn't try it on at David's bridal. That's why I couldn't find it. I didn't realize it had beading until I tried it on. It's very cute.
